Pet care experience
What’s updog?
I’ve spent my whole life living with and caring for dogs as well as their fine feline counterparts. From a young age my parents made sure I took on the responsibility of pet ownership (feeding, walking, cleaning up after pets). More recently our family had a lab/terrier mix who we sadly had to have put down. I have experience caring for puppies and kittens, but honestly that’s more playing with them and exhausting their energy reserves more than anything else. We only take one booking per household (multiple pets from the same household are also welcome!), and I work from home, so you can rest assured your furry friend will get our fullest attention! If you have a dog or cat of any age you would like to get their energy out with, or need a hiking/beach buddy for I’m your guy! ***Due to having small children in my home I require a short meet and greet before confirming booking just to ensure your pet is a good fit for our family, and we’re a good fit for them as well!***

David and his family were wonderful hosts for our cat, Momo. From start to finish, David was responsive and communicative throughout the whole process. Momo is normally a very social cat but can be skittish in new environments, and this was her first time being around young kids, but David thoughtfully created safe, comfortable spaces for her without making her feel stressed. We really appreciated the care and attention he put into making her feel at ease.

David was amazing with Abby. He took the time to come and meet her before which was extremely beneficial. He was very engaging with Abby during his visit. 10/10 would recommend!
David was wonderful! Communicative, patient, kind. It was only for about 9 hours, but he went above and beyond to watch and care for our dog. He shared several pictures, and gave proactive updates, and was quick to answer during and leading up to our dog's stay. I would whole-heartedly recommend David.
Prismo had a wonderful time hanging with David and his family! He was so pooped when we got home he went right to bed haha
I boarded my dog Maggie at David's place for about a week. Maggie seemed to enjoy her time there and loved being around his family. David provided daily updates during the stay. I would definitely recommend David as a sitter and I would book again.

Schedule
I work from home, so often am out and about meeting with people in the community or at home taking care of my clients. I often walk dogs on my lunch break to get out and move a bit!

I am often in and out throughout the day, so available for potty breaks as needed. My kiddo loves playing with the dogs, so playful dogs will have a great time with him!
A typical day
I love taking dogs to the beach or hiking/traipsing around walking trails. I’m also open to plain Jane walks, or to parks where we can play fetch and run around.
