About: I’ve been a dog owner for many years and have had three Shar Pei of my own. Shar Pei can be a challenging breed, and all three of mine experienced health issues over the years, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs who need a little extra patience and attention, including administering medications. I no longer have a dog in my home and have recently been dog sitting for friends and family. I’ve enjoyed it so much that I decided it was time to expand! I truly enjoy having dogs around, taking them for walks and giving them plenty of attention. Your dog will be treated like part of my family, not a guest. I work outside of the home during the week, but I have flexibility in my schedule and plenty of time to give your dog the attention, exercise and companionship they need. I enjoy walking and being outdoors, so daily walks are something I genuinely look forward to. When I’m home, your dog will be right there with me as part of the family. I have a fully fenced-in yard where your dog can safely spend time outside, and there are currently no other pets living in my home. This allows me to give your dog lots of individual attention and makes my home a comfortable option for dogs who may prefer not to be around other animals. I’m experienced with administering medications and caring for dogs with health issues and special needs. I’ll also follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, sleeping and medication routine as closely as possible. Above all, I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable and at home while you’re away.

Valeri is fantastic with communication, sending daily updates and pictures that always make us smile while we’re away. During our most recent stay, our dog happened to be going through one of her picky eating phases. Valeri was incredibly patient and thoughtful, trying different approaches to encourage her to eat and making sure she was comfortable and well cared for. In addition to all the playtime with Lexi, Valeri took our dog on walks, gave her lots of attention, and was very accommodating with our drop-off and pick-up schedule. It’s such a relief to have found someone we trust completely. Our dog is always happy, well cared for, and genuinely excited to go back. We used Sam to board our dog Mia for the first time recently, and she was absolutely amazing!
