About: Hi Pet Parents! 🐾 please read I bring over 6 years of pet care experience from Wag and have been on Rover for about a year where I built long term relationships with pups (and their humans!) through a ton of walks, drop-ins and sittings! ✨ What sets me apart? - Consistency & reliability: I treat your pets and your home with the same care I’d want for my own. - Experience with all kinds of dogs: from shy rescues to energetic puppies to senior pups or disabled dogs who need gentler attention and care - Communication: I keep you in the loop with updates, photos and videos so you can relax knowing your best friend is happy and safe. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone and I don’t take that lightly. Whether it’s a quick walk, an overnight stay or daily drop ins, I’m here to make sure your pets feel loved and cared for while you’re away. - I know a lot of you are parents and / or are very busy if you need more assistance such as picking your dog up from doggy day care, grooming appointments or simply just cleaning up the house please let me know and we can discuss further Can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies! 🐶🐾 I have the flexibility to adapt to your pet’s specific routine and needs, so they get consistency and attention just like they would if you were home. When I care for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. - Walks & exercise: I match your dog’s pace and energy level whether that’s a quick potty break, a long walk playtime. - Drop-ins: I handle feeding, fresh water, litter or potty breaks and always make time for playtime and affection so your pet feels loved, not just “checked on.” - Sitting: I provide companionship, stick to your pet’s daily schedule and make sure your home is respected and cared for while you’re away. I completely understand how much trust it takes to let someone into your home. For extra peace of mind, I always encourage pet parents to use cameras if they’d like because that way you can see your pets happy and comfortable while you’re away. I also send regular updates, photos and videos so you can relax knowing your best friend is in loving hands. Just for extra reassurance, I don’t invite people into your home. The only time I ever have was for a family I’d been sitting for over many years, and I made sure to ask first—I only had my dad over for dinner because it was Thanksgiving during that stay. Aside from that, I would never invite friends or anyone else over, as I personally find that disrespectful.
“Lauren did a great job taking care of our two kitties! She came in a week before our scheduled visit to do a meet and greet with the cats. Lauren took great care of our cats. She sent lots of photos and a detail message of her visit. She was also helpful during our time away making sure our house was a good temperature for our kitties. House was very clean and cats were well taken care of during our trip. Will definitely use Lauren in the future! :)”

“Highly recommend Johnny! He took excellent care of our dog Candy, feeding her and taking her out for a nice walk. He was incredibly communicative, followed all of our instructions to a T, and gave us total peace of mind. Candy was in great hands, and we will absolutely reach out to him again in the future!”

“Tom did a wonderful job taking care of our dog Sophie over the holiday weekend. I appreciated the updates and photos at every visit. It really felt like Sophie was in great hands.”

“Caden is our cats’ new favorite person! We have two cats Ollie and Oatey and they both have a little bit of different personalities; Caden catered to both. Oatey can be a little shy with new people and by the third or fourth day he was cuddling up on her lap. Ollie is more outgoing but doesn’t always engage with play (because his brother steals the show) and Caden brought her IPad for him to play with some mice games, which he appeared to love. Ollie isn’t a lap cat and by the end he was sitting in Caden's lap too. Caden was super thoughtful and attentive. She noticed when our litter robot was full and made sure to change it so our guys had fresh litter. She made sure the cats had fresh water during her visits. She gave us excellent updates and kept our cats happy while we were away. I could not have enjoyed my trip as much as I did without Caden being our sitter.”

“Our request was very last minute and Michaela was nothing but flexible and attentive to our cats needs. The meet and greet was really reassuring and her communication was great, we felt at ease knowing there was someone there for their feeding and litter care. I will definitely book with her again!”

“Julia was great! She sent the best pics of my kitty while I was away and he seemed to really enjoy her company during the drop-ins. No issues what so ever and will definitely be using her again!”

“Megan was extremely communicative. She also sent me tons of photos and videos of my cat and her engaging with my cat. It was always clear that he was being very well taken care of!”

Mackenzie did a very nice job taking care of Luigi and Lucia! She fes them according to my directions (we have special feeders), and she was able to give my cat Luigi his insulin injections accurately and correctly. The litter was well scooped and everything looked great when I returned home. Greatly appreciated her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Peabody. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
