“Keelyn is really just the sweetest and most understanding sitter I’ve ever worked with. She’s attentive, caring and patient with our cat who’s shy of strangers. 1000/ 10 stars! Will definitely want to work with her again in the future!”

About: Hi pet parents! My name is Jaz, and I’m a huge animal lover with 5+ years of experience caring for pets. I grew up with both cats and dogs, and family and friends have always relied on me to watch, walk, and care for their pets over the years. I currently have a cat of my own, but I’m definitely a big dog lover too. If it were up to me, I’d probably have five cats and five dogs but my husband says otherwise, so pet sitting is the perfect compromise. 😂 I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s needs and routines however I can, and I’ll always keep you updated with plenty of pictures and check-ins so you know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I’d love the chance to meet you and your furry family member! NOTE: I do require a meet and greet if I’ve never cared for your pet. RESPONSE HOURS: 9:30am-9:30pm Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I homeschool, which allows me to be flexible with my time. I love going on walks and spending time outdoors together as a family, so your pet would fit right into the fun and daily adventures. Your pet would get lots of attention, companionship, playtime, and care throughout the day not just quick check-ins. RESPONSE HOURS: 9:30am-9:30pm Because of my flexible schedule I can give your pet attention and care throughout the day. I will make sure your pet has all of their needs met, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, exercise, and lots of love. We’re also happy to go the extra mile when needed, whether that means extra walks, keeping up with your pet’s usual routine, administering basic medications, or giving them extra comfort and attention if they’re feeling anxious while away from home. We do live in an apartment, but we make sure pets get plenty of outdoor time and exercise. There are lots of great walking areas nearby, as well as a dog park close to us where your dog can safely run around and burn off energy, and won't feel stuck inside all day.
“Charlotte has helped us with the pups before and we will continue to use her! She is quick to respond to our requests and takes great care of our two energetic pups.”

“Paloma was available to visit my dogs last minute. She was communicative and even stopped by to meet them before the visit. Everything went as planned and I’m thankful for her care of my girls! Thank you!”

“Keishly is awesome. Very attentive and communicative. After our initial meet & greet I was sure I was leaving my dog in great care and she proved me right. So grateful for the way she took special care and attention to my girl Minzi.”

“So happy to have found Katie! Has great experience with animals, and my dogs warmed up to her right away. Punctual, responsive, and gave me detailed updates while we were away. Thank you!”

“Ely was the best dog sitter we’ve ever had. She won over our skittish dog and made sure both were comfortable, fed, medicated, and safe. She has an easy calm demeanor and our dogs trusted her quickly. She kept in touch, answered our questions, and took lots of photos to give us peace of mind. Highly recommend.”

About: I grew up with cats, dogs and rabbits my entire life. I currently dog and cat sit for family, friends and neighbors! I have years of experience and plenty of references. I work in Danvers, MA from 8:30am to 7pm Sundays through Wednesdays. I am available for drop ins before and after work and also overnights if your animal is able to stay alone for longer periods of time. I am comfortable with feeding, walking, giving medicine and crate training. I am also open to whatever needs the owner requests to best suit the animal.
About: I have two cats of my own who I truly love more than anything, so I understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I have experience volunteering at animal shelters, walking dogs, and caring for other people’s cats. I have a warm, calm, and patient demeanor, and I always take the time to let animals get comfortable with me at their own pace. I know that every pet has their own personality, needs, and boundaries, and I believe building trust is one of the most important parts of caring for an animal. I’m also comfortable administering medications and have experience giving inhalers to cats and dogs. Whether your pet is outgoing and playful or shy and needs a little extra patience, I’m committed to providing attentive, loving care and treating every pet as if they were my own. I am a school social worker at a special education school and have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate a variety of pet care needs. I am available most weekday evenings and currently have daytime availability on Fridays. I also have some weekend flexibility and will always do my best to accommodate your schedule and your pet’s specific needs! I always prefer to meet with clients and their pets before booking to ensure I can provide the best possible care for their individual needs. This also gives me the opportunity to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, and preferences, as well as become familiar with your home and any important safety considerations. Building trust and making sure both you and your pet feel comfortable is incredibly important to me!

“Mackenzie did a very nice job taking care of Luigi and Lucia! She fes them according to my directions (we have special feeders), and she was able to give my cat Luigi his insulin injections accurately and correctly. The litter was well scooped and everything looked great when I returned home. Greatly appreciated her!”
About: I've cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds since I was a kid, and been a dog mom myself for 12 years. I've done it all - from feeding, walks and playtime, to bathing and cleaning up accidental messes. I currently petsit for friends and family and love every second of it! I treat every animal I care for as if they were my own fur babies. I work from home and make my own schedule so I have lots of time and flexibility to stop in and take care of your furry friend! I'm comfortable walking multiple dogs on leashes and I'm extra patient with dogs who need a little extra support or guidance while on lead. I'm highly aware of my surroundings and keep playtime in safe, enclosed spaces your dog is comfortable in. And as I've cared for my dogs, as well as others' dogs, for about 20 years, I'm really good at reading dog body language and telling when they're tired, needing some rest or water, or still need a few more minutes of sniffing the neighbor's bushes :)
“Gloria was absolutely wonderful with the cats and they are very happy! I wholeheartedly recommend her as a sitter! She is kind and genuinely cares about animals and that shines through and was the reason I felt very comfortable leaving them in her care!”

About: My previous animal care experience includes dog walking, overnight care, and horse farm management. I am comfortable with pets of all kinds, sizes, and temperaments! I am currently a full-time student; however, my schedule allows for me to work most days and weekends. Mornings and late afternoons are best for me during the work week. I am comfortable walking with dogs of all sizes and energy levels on leash or off leash in fenced in yards. Pet safety is my number one priority.

Mackenzie did a very nice job taking care of Luigi and Lucia! Isabella was great! She was very attentive to Mozzarella’s needs and sent me lots of pictures and updates. Mozzarella was temporarily on a medication and she was able to give it to him each day and she also gave him lots of playtime. I would definitely book with her again.

Caitlin was fantastic! She was able to accommodate a very last minute request and even squeeze in a meet and greet first. She sent loads of pictures of my cat, and feels genuinely invested in animals care and well-being. Excellent and quick communication all along, as well. I can't wait to use her again!

We absolutely adore Claudia and she has been our go-to pet sitter for the past two years now, especially when we go away for more than a week! All of our kitties love her, even our shy guy. She is super responsive, sends amazing updates and also takes great care of our home. Highly recommend!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Clifton. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
