About: I've cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds since I was a kid, and been a dog mom myself for 12 years. I've done it all - from feeding, walks and playtime, to bathing and cleaning up accidental messes. I currently petsit for friends and family and love every second of it! I treat every animal I care for as if they were my own fur babies. I work from home and make my own schedule so I have lots of time and flexibility to stop in and take care of your furry friend! I'm comfortable walking multiple dogs on leashes and I'm extra patient with dogs who need a little extra support or guidance while on lead. I'm highly aware of my surroundings and keep playtime in safe, enclosed spaces your dog is comfortable in. And as I've cared for my dogs, as well as others' dogs, for about 20 years, I'm really good at reading dog body language and telling when they're tired, needing some rest or water, or still need a few more minutes of sniffing the neighbor's bushes :)

If your dog is more comfortable in a cat free environment, I’m also happy to have my cat stay with nearby family during their visit. I’d love the chance to meet you and your furry family member! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I homeschool, which allows me to be flexible with my time. I love going on walks and spending time outdoors together as a family, so your pet would fit right into the fun and daily adventures. Your pet would get lots of attention, companionship, playtime, and care throughout the day not just quick check-ins. Because of my flexible schedule I can give your pet attention and care throughout the day. I will make sure your pet has all of their needs met, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, exercise, and lots of love. We’re also happy to go the extra mile when needed, whether that means extra walks, keeping up with your pet’s usual routine, administering basic medications, or giving them extra comfort and attention if they’re feeling anxious while away from home. We do live in an apartment, but we make sure pets get plenty of outdoor time and exercise. There are lots of great walking areas nearby, as well as a dog park close to us where your dog can safely run around and burn off energy, and won't feel stuck inside all day.

About: Not only do i love animals and am very responsible, I have great knowledge on the subject of animal care. I worked in multiple animal hospitals as a technician, the local animal shelter as a technician, worked for doggie daycare and boarding for years, and now opened my own small animal care business. I have the knowledge and expertice in animal health as I took many veterinary technician classes (and can medically care if necessary, and/or know the proper instructions to bring to medical person of care certified to do so). I also have a completed certificate AND degree in Animal Care Sciences. (Diplomas and certificates available for evidence upon request). I have many reliable references who would be happy to be contacted upon request. I only work in Nahant so I am very flexible and I am always available. I do weekly routines, sporadic walks, pet sitting in your house or mine. I accommodate each pet/pet owners schedule to their needs. I always do a meet and greet with the pet and the owner prior to beginning walks/care with the animal. We discuss the wants and needs of the pet and the owner. I believe it is important for mom/dad to truly know who is caring for their fur baby and how they are being cared for.
