About: I was born into a family of pets and have been taking care of my dog and cat for years now. Walking, bathing, playing and loving. I am attending collage in the morning on Mondays, Thudays and Fridays but after 2pm I am usually free. I am usually always free on the weekends. While pet sitting I will walk, play and absolutely adore the furry baby that I have the honor of seeing. Any rules in place I will do absolute best to follow.

About: I've cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds since I was a kid, and been a dog mom myself for 12 years. I've done it all - from feeding, walks and playtime, to bathing and cleaning up accidental messes. I currently petsit for friends and family and love every second of it! I treat every animal I care for as if they were my own fur babies. I work from home and make my own schedule so I have lots of time and flexibility to stop in and take care of your furry friend! I'm comfortable walking multiple dogs on leashes and I'm extra patient with dogs who need a little extra support or guidance while on lead. I'm highly aware of my surroundings and keep playtime in safe, enclosed spaces your dog is comfortable in. And as I've cared for my dogs, as well as others' dogs, for about 20 years, I'm really good at reading dog body language and telling when they're tired, needing some rest or water, or still need a few more minutes of sniffing the neighbor's bushes :)

About: I have a love and passion for cats! I have 3 cats of my own and experienced in medication administration! I have been taking care of friends and families cats for years! Including but not limited to giving medication such as: inhaler, pills, syringes, etc. I am currently working part time so my availability is plenty of time to enrich your cats! I work 2-6 M-F so any time around that works for me! I care for my cats in a multitude of ways. Having 3 cats (one being a senior and one having chronic constipation managed with medication) requires lots of cleaning, enrichment/playtime, medications, food, nutrients, etc!

“Dawn was so wonderful and accommodating!! I had never boarded my cat before and was pretty nervous about leaving her in someone else's home. Dawn made us feel right at home, she suggested that I stay for ~30 minutes during "drop-off" to make sure that Missy felt comfortable, and did an amazing job of making sure that Missy wouldn't have the opportunity to bolt for the door or get stuck somewhere - Missy is a curious and elderly old lady and I was worried she would hide or get trapped, but Dawn made sure that wouldn't happen. She sent lots of pictures assuring me that Missy was having a great time, relaxing and playing with her toys and getting so much attention and lots of snuggles. Dawn made it super easy to schedule both pickup and dropoff and had all of Missy's stuff packed up and ready to go. If we ever need Missy to go on vacation again, Dawn will be my first call!”

One of the biggest benefits of caring for your pet in your home is that they get to stay where they feel safest. Their favorite bed is still there, their familiar smells are still there, and their normal routine doesn’t have to disappear just because you’re away. I genuinely want every detail you’re willing to give me, feeding times, walk schedules, medications, favorite toys, sleeping habits, commands, quirks, hiding spots, anxieties, comfort items, where they like to be scratched, and even the little things that might seem silly to anyone else. My goal is simple: the only part of your pet’s routine that should change is that you’re away. Everything else stays as familiar and consistent as possible. Whether your pet is young and energetic, a senior who prefers a slower pace, or an anxious pup who needs extra reassurance, I’ll meet them where they are. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and give them the patience, affection, attention, and consistency they’re used to. I’ll also keep you updated so you don’t have to spend your trip wondering how things are going. I know how reassuring it is to see that your pet is happy and doing well while you’re away. Outside of my work hours, my schedule allows me to be flexible and intentional with my time, so when I accept a booking, your pet can be a top priority. Whether that means morning and evening walks, meals at specific times, extra playtime, cuddles, or simply being there to keep them company, I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care they’re accustomed to. I’ve also found that many pets are happiest staying in the environment they already know and feel safe in, surrounded by their own bed, toys, smells, and familiar routine. Keeping them at home can make your time away feel much less disruptive and help create an easier, less stressful transition. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I’ll follow your instructions closely, respect any boundaries or behavioral needs you share with me, and make sure doors, gates, leashes, medications, feeding routines, and anything else important to their care are handled exactly as requested. Please tell me every quirk, trigger, habit, or precaution, there’s no such thing as too much information! I have a manual for my own dog for sitters! And I know you’re trusting me with more than your pet, you’re trusting me with your home. I take that responsibility just as seriously. I’ll treat your space with care and respect, keep things tidy throughout my stay, and make every effort to leave your home even better than I found it. I always prefer to meet with clients and their pets before booking to ensure I can provide the best possible care for their individual needs.
