About: I have 4 years of experience dog walking and pet sitting with company’s and on my own! I work at a doggy daycare in the area and love to expanding my experience on my own while i finish school. I’ve had amazing experiences in building trust and relationships with lots of pets and pet parents! My days aren’t regular within the week, depending on what days i’m not at my other job or in school. But don’t hesitate to reach out a week in advance, i’m very flexible with my schedule! I like to come to your home and do a meet and greet, and go for a short walk before we start working together! If you feel your dog is okay with strangers i am used to going in blind with out a meet and greet. i can bring treats depending on if they have allergies and poop bags! I always make sure they are comfortable with me and trust me before leaving your home. I usually only walk in the neighborhood but if trusted or dog needs to be relocated for the walk I can bring them in my car to go somewhere fun! I also always make sure to refill the water bowl, or feed breakfast/dinner when done with walk if needed.
“Vanessa was great! She was super communicative an d took great care of the cats, and the left the house super clean ! One of our cats recently had a lot of a health issues and is on multiple medications. Vanessa took care of it no problem and was able to get him to take all of his meds and got him to play and snuggle, things he hasn’t done in a few months really! She took great care of our girl Piggie, too. She has to be seperated from Reggie for a couple weeks, she got plenty of attention and snuggles as well. Thanks Vanessa!”

“Beth cared for our kitties while we were away and did everything we asked. Our shy cat even warmed up to her. You can tell she is an animal lover! Looking forward to having her cat-sit in the future.”

“Jodi is great with my dog Mia. Did a check in visit this evening to take her out and feed her dinner. Jodi trays Mia like her own pet and gives updated throughout the visit!”

About: I’ve been enamored with dogs since I was little. My parents wouldn’t let me get one, so I created my own dog walking business when I was 8-years-old. I created flyers and regularly walked dogs in my neighborhood such as goldens, havanese, labs, etc. When I was 10, my parents finally caved. I now have a 12-year-old bichon/maltese. He is my best little friend. He is unfriendly to people and other dogs, so I am very familiar with how to handle a dog of this protective manor. I feel so much joy around animals, this is the perfect site for me! I would love to meet your pups and help take care when you need an extra hand! I work 3 days a week as a nurse, the rest of the days I am free to help you out! I update my schedule/availability frequently on here. In your home, I will follow your rules of the house. My dog has a particular routine, and if your pet has a routine I will make that their reality while you are unable. I am a responsible and respectful young woman, and am happy to have this opportunity to lend a hand.
About: I’ve been a pet lover all my life. I was lucky enough to work in an Animal Hospital while I was in college and learned basic pet First Aid, and how to spot health issues with animals before they become a problem. I currently walk and pet sit dogs as small as 7lbs to my biggest client who is 135lbs. I’m semi retired and love spending time with animals, so walking and pet sitting has been great! I am flexible and have a good car that is reliable in all weather. I have two large pups at home ( Beau and Casey Jones), who stay home when I pet sit and walk dogs so that I can give my client’s pets my undivided attention.
“We asked Anna to drop in on our cat while we were away on a trip. She really put our mind at ease with pictures of Fi. Our little furbaby got real cosy with Anna, so we knew we got someone who we could really trust. Thanks Anna!”

About: I can take care of your whole menagerie! I specialize in livestock, but I can take care of anyone from a spider to a steer. I currently take care of 18 horses part-time. I used to be the long-time sitter for a pack of English Mastiffs. I also have taken care of my mother’s Rottweilers, chickens, geese, ducks, rats, and spiders. I have also taken many university biology courses, so if your friend is none of the above, I’m sure I can figure them out! I take care of horses part time in the late afternoon and evening, so I will be unavailable between 1330 and 1830 on most days. I may have the entire day available on Tuesday and Friday. I am a gentle, patient, and firm person. I pay attention what animals tell me through their body language and respect their boundaries. Whether we are on a walk or in your home, I consider what your friend would want to do rather than what I wish they would enjoy. I am not squeamish! I can do first aid for birds and mammals, I am also experienced in administering oral and injected medication. I do not have experience with using catheters. I will not care for animals with contagious diseases, fleas, mites, or venom that can kill a human (no cobra-sitting).
Hathorne cat parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah took the best care of my two cats, Tango and Mango!! They are rambunctious orange tabbies with big personalities and I am always hesitant about using someone unfamiliar to them. Sarah stopped over for a meet and greet before and they both took a liking to her. She visited every other day for a little over a week. She did an excellent job feeding them, changing their litter, and spending time playing with them. Sarah provided updates and pictures after each visit, which was much appreciated. She stayed in communication with me and made me feel at ease. The cats really liked her! I would absolutely recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a reliable cat sitter. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Riley is a trustworthy caretaker who took wonderful care of our cat while we were away for a week. We enjoyed our vacation knowing that our cat was being cared for well, including an occasional picture. If we have a need for care again, we will definitely be contacting Riley. It was a great experience!
