About: I have limited professional experience in animal care but I have nearly a lifetime's worth of practical experience and pure love for all animals. Between having pets of my own and caring for others' fur-friends, I'm always the "DD" or "designated dog-duty" person. Since I've been able to walk to my neighbors houses or drive to friends and family members' homes I've often been relied on to check-in on, walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets. Along with years of experience caring for pets in the home, I have volunteer experience bathing, blow-drying, and combing dogs of all ages and sizes. I've experience caring for dogs (including senior dogs), cats, puppies, kittens, turtles, hamsters, bearded dragons, and sugar gliders. Caring for others is something that comes naturally to me. I'm currently a graduate student aspiring to work in the mental health field with children and adolescents. However, as much as I love working with humans, I also love working with animals and pet-sitting/walking has become a side-gig that fills my cup and my wallet! I'm a quick-learner and willing to follow any special care instructions to accommodate your pet's needs. I'm currently a part-time graduate student so I have plently of time to walk and/or care for your furry friends! During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed at all times and remain aware of our surroundings to ensure a safe and fun experience.
