“This was my first time on Rover and my yellow lab Gus had a great time with Rebeca and her family! She provided photo updates and was very friendly. They live on a nice neighborhood and have a great home for dogs to feel at home and play!! Thank you again. We will definitely be booking again with Rebeca”

“Belinda was amazing with Juno and helped out while I was at work for a work trip! Juno had a great time and it was amazing knowing Juno was in great care! Thank you so much!”

“Dolev was very sweet with my anxious puppy. She asked a lot of good questions at the meet and greet- being thorough so both of our expectations could be met. The updates during his stay set my mind at ease.”

“We were traveling and This was the first time that I left my dog at a daycare. Jodi was a terrific host and my dog loved it. She sent pics throughout the day and even a video. I would recommend her without hesitation!”

“Millie had the best time at Fae and Joseph's! Great dogs to play with and a set up with the safety and happiness of dogs in mind. Couldn't ask for anything more.”

“Ana Maria did a great job caring for my dog. She gave her extra attention, as my pup was having separation anxiety following a recent move. Ana has a calm nurturing way about her, and it's apparent she loves dogs. I will definitely use her services again!”

“I would highly recommend Michelle. She has been one of the best sitters we have used on Rover! I tend to worry because my dog has really bad separation anxiety, but Michelle and her family really did an amazing job at making him feel comfortable. Michelle always got back to us right away with updates and even photos. Can't thank her and her family enough!”

“My dog has separation anxiety and Julia gives him the attention and love he needs to feel comfortable while I'm gone. I love that she has a fenced in yard so my dog can sniff around safely and enjoy the sunshine!”

“Lupa had a great time with Jing and her family!! I received pictures of him and updates during his stay and I felt at ease knowing he is having a great time playing with his doggy friends and being taken great care of. I will definitely book again when I need a sitter for him!”

“She is an amazing sitter! She gave frequent updates throughout the day, and really appreciated that she went above and beyond by sending a lot of pictures. Also, I really appreciate her flexibility. If you’re in Boston, highly recommend her as your pet sitter. Go Greta (and Juniper)! 🫶✨”

“Natali took such great care of our 11 month old puppy during his first overnight stay away from home. She was patient, communicative, and kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Even though he was a little nervous from being in a new environment, she was incredibly understanding and attentive to his needs. We could tell he was well cared for and had a great time with Natali and Rocko. We’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!”

“Was on a trip to MA for the weekend. Very happy that I found Marcia to take care of my dog for the day while I was out. She provided a lot of pictures and updates without me having to ask. She went above and beyond! She took my dog out for multiple walks as well as letting my dog outside in her fenced in backyard all day. If I am back in MA again, definitely will be reaching out!”

“Very professional and when I went to pix up my Enzo 3 months old Yorkie toys he showed happiness. I trust her at 100% .. before I had a very bad expensive with another doggy day care .. I am lucky we have Samantha .. thanks again , see you soon”

“Jade watched my two pups with very different needs (one is small, 15 years old; the other is 1.5 yo husky mix) for the day as we were going through town on a road trip. We needed somewhere for the pups to be while we did a non-dog friendly day. Jade was super responsive and accommodating. The dogs happily walked off with her without any hesitation (I trust them to read the situation). She asked good questions about their care, entertained the pup during the day by introducing her to a doggy walking pad inside since it was extremely hot out. She also quickly and easily accommodated an earlier pick up when we finished up early. While we aren’t local to use her again, I would do it if the need arises. Much better than a kennel! Pups were happy when we picked up.”

“Thank you Hannah for taking such good care of Milly!! We gave Hannah detailed notes for Milly because she is a reactive dog and we’ve been working with a behaviorist to try to calm her anxieties and fears. She followed them and kept her happy and healthy!”

“Five-Star Review: Rebekka took exceptional care of my dog, Harley. From farm visits to playdates with other dogs, it was basically the best 3 days of Harley's life! Rebekka is kind, responsive, and accommodating which made the experience stress-free. I can say with confidence that you will not find a sitter/walker who loves and cares for animals better than Rebekka. Harley can't wait for her next stay!”

About: I have always had cats & dogs and cared for them growing up. I have a beautiful goldendoodle named Mugsy and a pretty kitty named Willow, I consider them part of my family. I currently work remotely, so I have plenty of time to care for your pups and kitties. Your babies are in good hands with me, I send alot of pics and updates while your pet is with me and will treat them as if they were my very own 💙 I have a big yard and a huge deck. I also live right up the street from some of the Ipswich River trails, also Danvers dog park is just a couple minutes away. I am also flexible to do drop ins, walks and sittings. I have a full size crate if needed as well. I will not take on a job that I can't provide 100% to!

“Vanessa and her partner took excellent care of my puppy Mochi. They frequently sent me pictures and videos of their little adventures with Mochi, and kept me up to date on the little one's endeavor. By the end of the stay, my little Mochi was giving them goodbye kisses and I could tell she had a wonderful time. I could not be happier with the care Mochi received and I am finally relieved to have found someone who can wonderfully care for my puppy in my absence.”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Middleton commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
