Booked Mirellys again and once again she was great. Chowder was thrilled to see her and came home tired and happy. Consistent, reliable, and clearly a favorite of his. Wouldn't book anyone else.

Diaralyz and her family took such good care of our puppy! He got to interact and socialize properly and the best part was receiving pictures and videos of him playing and living his best life. We highly recommend Diaralyz and we will be coming again with our little dog.

Natali took such great care of our 11 month old puppy during his first overnight stay away from home. She was patient, communicative, and kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Even though he was a little nervous from being in a new environment, she was incredibly understanding and attentive to his needs. We could tell he was well cared for and had a great time with Natali and Rocko. We’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!

Jade watched my two pups with very different needs (one is small, 15 years old; the other is 1.5 yo husky mix) for the day as we were going through town on a road trip. We needed somewhere for the pups to be while we did a non-dog friendly day. Jade was super responsive and accommodating. The dogs happily walked off with her without any hesitation (I trust them to read the situation). She asked good questions about their care, entertained the pup during the day by introducing her to a doggy walking pad inside since it was extremely hot out. She also quickly and easily accommodated an earlier pick up when we finished up early. While we aren’t local to use her again, I would do it if the need arises. Much better than a kennel! Pups were happy when we picked up.

Fae and Joseph responded quickly and gave Patton a warm welcome. They had plenty of room indoors and outdoors for him to run and play. They also had very friendly dogs for Patton to play with, which Pat loves to meet and play with new dogs. Very personable and left me at ease leaving Patton that for the day. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a dog sitter.

About: I treat every animal exactly as if they were my own. With over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses, my background is deeply rooted in animal welfare. Growing up in Maryland, I volunteered at a local animal rescue, interned with an equine veterinary clinic, and served as a volunteer and instructor in equine therapy. I came to Boston for college and have resided here ever since! I am still an avid equestrian today, and this lifelong dedication to animals has shaped my approach to pet care: I am incredibly detail-oriented, highly observant, and bring infinite patience to every animal's unique needs. I grew up surrounded by large dogs—including three wonderful Labradors—as well as multiple cats. Recently, my husband, Johnny, and I moved to Marblehead, where we share our home with our two sweet cats, Ozzy and Willis. What to Expect When You Book With Me: Constant Companionship: As a working professional in the consulting industry who is fully remote, my flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent, reliable supervision. I ensure your pets receive lots of daytime companionship and are never left alone for more than 4-5 hours a day. Tailored Attention: Family and friends have always relied on me for meticulous care. I make it a priority to learn everything about your pet's routine, quirks, and needs to ensure they are happy and safe. Professional & Insured: As an established, fully independently insured pet care professional, I am always happy to discuss flexible care and scheduling arrangements that work best for your family. Reliability & Safety: I have my own reliable vehicle, allowing for complete flexibility with visits and peace of mind in the unlikely event of an emergency. Meet & Greets: Finding the right match is important! I am always happy to schedule a virtual or in-person meet-and-greet to ensure we are a mutual fit. Please note: For house sitting, I currently accept booking requests a maximum of 3 months in advance. Thank you for understanding! I work fully remote from my home. For house sitting, I use your house as a homebase to make your pet feel comfortable and used to their normal routine. I am able to drop in, house sit, and walk your furry friend, feed and play with your dog or cat, and everything in between (and of course take many pictures!)

About: Hi! I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds. In addition to dogs, I’ve cared for cats, fish, rodents, and farm animals, so I’m comfortable working with a wide range of pets and their unique needs. I’m confident handling pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—from high-energy puppies to more anxious or senior animals who need a gentler approach. I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m very communicative and will keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. I’m also happy to follow any specific routines, training preferences, or care instructions to keep things consistent for your pet. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or overnights, I treat every pet like they’re my own and genuinely enjoy getting to know their personalities. If your dog stays with me, he/she will be in great company with my resident dog, Kimchi! For days that I’m available to provide doggy daycare services, I work from home and I’m able to accommodate your dog’s specific scheduling needs, including potty breaks walks, and medication routine needs. I have a friendly resident dog who will keep your dog good company while he or she stays with us. I always follow your care instructions and will never take dogs off leash. I am located in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space for nice, long walks.

About: Hi, I’m Xinyue, I’m part-time a dog treats baker! I bake fresh dog cookie and cake from scratch. May dream is to open a dog treats store. I have a 4-year-old Golden Retriever. I walk him twice a day and have trained him to sit, lie down, stay, fetch the ball, come back, and follow several other commands. He is well-trained. I also bake fresh homemade dog treats for him. If your pet stays with us, I will treat them like family too! Weihai works from home all day, he will be home with dogs all the time, Xinyue that’s me I usually walk the dog in the morning and play with him in the yard after I get home. I have shorter work hours during the summer, so I’ll be home often to take care of them. I’m also usually available on weekends and love taking dogs on hikes, to the park, or to the beach. We have a fenced yard and a 4-year-Golden Retriever named Igo, who is super friendly with both dogs and people. There’s also a dog door that leads to the yard. If your dog stays with Igo and us, they’ll be welcome to cuddle on the couch or relax in the yard—whatever they prefer! But I’ll never leave the dog along in the yard.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Danvers

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Danvers on Rover is $49.95 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 2,752 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Danvers. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Danvers commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,752 sitters in Danvers, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
