“I cannot say enough good things about Ariane and her home! Cookie had the best time during her 2 week stay. Ariane and family are very caring and made sure Cookie was safe and happy. Cookie loved the fenced back yard as well. She also enjoyed being at Ariane’s with the other dogs. I highly recommend her and I know Cookie will be staying with her again in the future.”

“Lindsay was amazing. Our dog had a great time with Lindsay, her family and her dog Tilly, who happened to match our dog's size and energy level perfectly. Lindsay sent us multiple photos during our dog's stay. We could not recommend her more highly!”

“Paul and Megan were fantastic. They took such good care of our crazy little corgi, sending us pictures and videos each day while we were away and regular updates about his mood and activities and overall how he was doing. It made it so much easier for our family to be away from our pup for the first time since we got him. Can’t say enough great things about the experience with Paul and Megan.”

“Samantha was great with both me and my dog. This was my first Rover booking and she and her husband were super accommodating and took great care of Della: taking her on walks, making sure the cats stayed away and giving her cuddle time (with kids❤️). Would book again if i was in the area.”

“Quiana is AMAZING!!!!!!! She was phenomenal with all three dogs and asked such great, breed-specific questions during our Meet and Greet. She also did a wonderful job accommodating medication and odd feeding requests, and helped give us peace of mind with regular updates on each. What a fantastic sitter!! Cannot praise her enough.”

“This was our first time leaving our fur baby with someone else and we were definitely nervous parents. We found Jenn and all our worries were relieved. She and her family are very loving and treated our baby as their own. She was smothered with love and affection and I will not hesitate to use Jenn again. As a matter of fact we have already rebooked her! Also, Jenn was great in sending updates and pictures of our girl's fun times away. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you for minding Theo in our absence! Great videos, excellent response time to my messages. Exceptionally knowledgeable about dog behavior! Lovely family, great back yard and lots of walks. Happy, tired guy. Thank you!”

It was his longest time away from home, but he made lots of dog friends, did lots of playing with toys, trips with hikes and swimming and got lots of affection/cuddles. We loved all the photos and videos we received during his stay, and he came back happy and exhausted. Thank you so much, would highly recommend!”

“Ana Maria was great with my puppy. She was very caring and understanding of my puppy separation anxiety, and also she was flexible with my last minute schedule change. “Moxie had a great time at Lori and Bill's house. She loved running around the fenced backyard and playing with the other dogs. They take care to care for only friendly dogs, so I felt comfortable that there wouldn't be any problems. Someone is home almost all the time, so Moxie was never alone. It is a very dog-friendly house and it's obvious how much Lori and Bill love the dogs that visit.”

“Maria has watched our cats on two occasions now and has done a great job each time! Hard to find with others- but she even cleans the area/litter around the litter boxes and just does a great job with everything -from actually swapping out to clean fresh bowls at each feeding. Cleanliness, and friendliness goes a long way! We are so grateful we found her. Not an easy task with 5 cats! I would recommend her to care for your animals, too.”

“Thanks for taking care of the pets. They had an amazing time with Rylee. We had a little bit of hiccup with ant getting into food situation as well as automatic food bowl breaking in the middle of the trip but Rylee was very kind to get us ant traps and clean the food up for the cats. Lots of great communication and amazing pictures. The pets were in a great hands.”

“Vanessa watched our two super shy cats over the holidays. One of our cats requires a daily medication mixed in with food and, as cats do, refuses it unless conditions are perfect to her evolving specifications 😂. Vanessa troubleshooted with us to meet her demands 👑. She was very patient with our other anxious nugget also, who even accepted her head scratches. They both seemed really healthy when we returned. Vanessa was also reliable with her visit times and communication.”

“Julia is the best cat mom ever! She made friend with my kitty in no time and has been so considerate and responsive all the way through. I am grateful beyond measure that my kitty can spend the summer with her.”

About: I have been a cat owner since I was 16 years old, and I have never been without at least one cat since the day I brought my darling girl home. I have about 11 years of cat-sitting experience. I have experience administering oral medications, looking after senior cats, looking after cats who need a lot of extra love, play, and attention, and looking after very shy cats who need lots of reassurance that I am a quiet, calm, and safe person.
About: I have worked at a cat boarding facility for the better part of five years. I have many pets and experience with the following; medicine administration, injecting insulin, monitoring the cats’ health and appetite, cleaning, and making sure each and every cat got the adequate attention they needed. In addition to this I have also pet sat for dogs and cats for years. Most of customers were regulars and I got to get to know each animal very well. I have also had both a dog and a cat my whole life, so I know what it is like to not only constantly care for a pet, but also love and worry about them, which is why I take such pride in ensuring my customers have complete peace knowing I will care for their pets! I am a college student and am available most afternoons, but have more freedoms Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the weekends. My schedule can be very flexible though. My main concern in caring for pets is their health and safety. I will always make sure they are doing well and have all the care they need in that aspect. I also will make sure they are happy and receiving the attention from me they need. I will always follow any and all instructions left on caring for pets.

About: I have experience caring for cats through various house-sitting jobs, as well as growing up with a couple of my own. I really enjoy their personalities—they’re independent, a little sassy, and tend to do their own thing, but still appreciate attention on their terms. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box care, playtime, and making sure they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away.

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember and have had pets for over 25 years. Caring for animals has always been a part of my daily life, not just a hobby. Over the years I’ve had different kinds of pets, and I currently have two budgies and a betta fish. I enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and earning their trust at their own pace. I’m naturally attentive and tend to notice when something seems off or when a pet needs a little extra patience and care. I understand how much pets mean to their families, and I would care for yours the same way I care for my own.

“Jonathan is a very thoughtful, caring and patient dog walker. Our dog struggles with separation anxiety and we were expecting that she would have a hard time adapting when one of us started working full time. But, Jonathan is making this transition so much easier by being very attentive to our dog’s needs and providing us with very useful information about how she is doing on their walks. We strongly recommend him.”

“Elizabeth was extremely professional and reliable. She instantly got along with Orfeu and the had a seamless set of walks together while I was out of town. I am so grateful we found her and would recommend her to anyone needing support with their pups!”

About: I have been pet-sitting since I was about 11 or 12 years old. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to feed, water, play with, pet, medicate, scoop, cuddle, brush, walk, and generally love their pets for decades, and I have enjoyed every moment of it! I have two cats and one dog myself, and would have many more pets if my property manager and my square footage allowed for it. I am a librarian by day, and a pet-sitter by night! My regular work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9-5, so I am available before and after work hours. I am also available anytime of the day or evening most weekends. I currently offer pet care in my clients' homes. I try to be very flexible with my clients and the needs of their pets. When I go away and rely on a pet-sitter to look after my fur babies, I always miss them terribly, which is why I send my clients and update on how their pets are doing during and/or after each visit, and I always take lots of pics and videos to share.

“This was our first time using Rover and Lindsay was great! She arrived on time, sent pictures during her visit and took great care of our puppy. We will definitely book again!”

About: My entire life I have grown up with pets, dogs cats bunnies guinea pigs lizards birds, you name it we had it! Good pet care to me includes knowing their needs way ahead of time . In my time around animals, I have yet to meet one that doesn’t like me, whether it’s a energetic puppy or a lazy house cat. I’m extremely responsible and trustworthy, in addition to being creative at a moments notice. Taking care of animals means you must be ready for whatever may happen, and patience is a key. These are all qualities I possess! To me, being a people person means you also are a pet person. You and your beloved pets will be happy, healthy and safe with me! I’m currently working part time as a yoga teacher, so I have lots of time to take care of your pet kiddos! Whether it’s a walk around the park, some quality play time at home, or meal support, I am open to it all. Meeting a new animal is all about establishing safety and trust with them first, to show them I am a safe human that’s here to love and care for them too. Once they feel safe, we can get to the fun stuff of play time and walks!
About: Animals have always had a special place in my heart. I have worked as a veterinary technician and dog walker, volunteered at cat shelters, and had my own aggressive Rottie. These experiences have helped me learn so much about animal behavior and training, medication administration, and tending to different types of needs a pet may have. While I did not make a career out of caring for animals, I still want to care for them in any way I can!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life! My friends and neighbors have relied on me to dog sit previously and I’m open to any type of dog! I’m a college student available for summer break! I have a pretty flexible schedule but do work a part time job, so weekly routine may not be ideal I’ve walked dogs with harnesses and all types of leashes, so I can adapt to any dog! I can do feedings, walks, whatever is needed.
About: I am a 32-year-old living in a house in Wenham (with a large backyard!) with flexible work hours. I work from home, and I'm a writer so hours are flexible, so I can take your dog for a walk whenever you need me to. I am responsible, kind, and athletic, and would love taking your dog on a long neighborhood walk, a dog park, or another location you'd prefer. I’ve been a Rover sitter for over five years, and have watched all kinds of pups! Young or old, big or small, energetic and outgoing or shy and timid… I’ve watched (and loved) them all! Being a Rover sitter is truly one of my biggest joys. As someone who loves dogs but doesn’t have one yet myself, I will truly treat your pup like my own and make sure he or she has a fantastic time away :) I am a previous pet owner myself -- growing up I had an incredibly energetic golden retriever dog, as well as a cat who lived 15 years. I also used to volunteer at the Ipswich Animal Shelter because I love all animals! I work a 9-to-5 job from home, but my role as a writer means I have limited meetings — so I have a lot of flexibility to take your pup for walks and play with him or her throughout the day. I follow the owner’s advice when it comes to how to make the animal feel safe and comfortable in my home. I ensure I am always aware of where the pup or cat is and watch them so they don’t get themselves into harm’s way, and I follow the animal’s lead when it comes to whether they want to be picked up or pet or whether they want space to explore a bit. I work full-time from home, and as a writer I have a flexible schedule to play and walk your pet throughout the day as well as on weekends. We have a house in Wenham, and I always ensure anything potentially dangerous is off the floor before a pup comes over. I also make sure they have their own space in my house on a dog bed or blanket with toys so they feel safe and welcomed.
“I think Matthew for the two quick walks this week. It was so helpful and you took care of Luna and I appreciate your feedback and I appreciate you walking her. I will definitely ask you again to walk her. Thank you so much.”

I deeply appreciate this care and attention to detail!”

“Cheryl-Anne was so nice and accommodating throughout this stay. She was very communicative and it was clear my dog loved her and her dogs, and visa versa. I will definitely be booking with her the next time I need to hire a sitter!”

“Our minidoodle Sam had a great stay with Charlotte and Jordan, and their dog Kyber. Two things we especially like: They generally just take one dog at a time (more attention, and Sam loves attention!), and they live near some great walking trails. Very nice people.”
