“Candi has been wonderful with my dog, Pepper! She’s done several drop-ins for me and always follows the directions I leave for feeding and care to a T, which gives me peace of mind. Today she also took Pepper out for a walk, and everything went smoothly. Pepper ! I really appreciate her reliability, clear communication, and the care she shows. Highly recommend!”

“Lauren is great! We have a 10 month old, high-energy puppy and he really enjoyed his walks with her this past week. She is incredibly thorough sharing all the details of the walk and including pictures. I am incredibly grateful for her support with caring for Mack.”

About: Ive taken care of my best friends dog Tucker , he is a very adorable golden retriever , and ive taken care of him by walking him, feeding him , and sleeping with him. I love giving him lots of belly rubs , cuddles , and of course kisses. Secondly Ive taken care of my boyfriends two dogs named Mabel and pebbles, they are both small dogs, and ive taken care of them by walking them , feeding them , and sleeping with them as well. Lastly I love dogs so much , I would do anything for them. Dogs love the safe calm energy that I always bring to them , which always makes me very happy because I will always give dogs the love , and tender care that they always deserve because dogs are very important , they are family! Im currently working part time right now , so I will have plenty of time to play with lots of dogs , and of course puppies!! Which im very very excited about. Near my complex I live around the corner from a park where I would take my old dog. I can take your dog to a park so that your dog can socialize with other dogs , puppies , etc (if requested). Lastly I will make sure that your dog will be on a leash the whole time , and to make sure that your loving dog will have plenty of water no matter where we are.

“I don’t have to worry about a thing with him coming to my home and taking care of my dog. He’s has been very reliable and trustworthy which is very important to me. He’s also great with my elderly deaf dog and leaves detailed reports and pictures daily.”

About: I’ve cared for pets for my whole life, including cats, dogs, and exotic pets such as frogs, lizards and birds. I’ve also been trusted as a dog walker and to cat-sit by family friends, coworkers, and teachers. I hope to get the chance to meet your beloved pets! I’m a college student free for the summer, so I will have very open availability during the entire week! I am glad to make multiple visits if needed. I can easily handle your pet’s food, bathroom and comfort needs. This includes feeding and administering medications, taking your pet out for walks/bathroom breaks, litter box cleanings, keeping their surroundings tidy and returning them to a crate if needed.
About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been something I truly love. From energetic puppies to senior pets who need extra patience and attention, I understand how important it is to make every animal feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’ve also cared for friends, family members, and neighbors pets, ranging from small dogs to large breeds and cats with different routines and personalities. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, administering basic care, and giving pets the love and attention they deserve while their owners are away. I absolutely adore animals and will always treat your pets like they’re my own, with patience, kindness, and plenty of affection. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for at all times. I’m currently in college, but when I’m on breaks and come home I’m available. My schedule changes often giving me lots of flexibility and time to spend with your pets! I treat every pet like they’re my own. I make sure every pet im with is comfortable and feels loved. I make sure they’re feed, have water and go out when they have to.
About: A few years ago I worked as a veterinary technician and dog walker, both for about a year. I learned so much about animal behavior, medication administration, and training during this time! I have also volunteered at an animal shelter (working mainly with cats) for about 4 years, furthering my knowledge about kitties and how to work with them. While I've been out of the animal field professionally for a few years, I got my own Rottie about two years ago. He turned out a bit aggressive so I've been through a lot of training and have gained a lot more knowledge on dog behavior and dog training. Aside from all professional facts, I grew up with some type of pet in my life since I was younger - dogs, cats, turtles - and have a special love for them! I always know how to give them lots of love or even how to handle them properly if they aren't the biggest love bugs :)
“Atlas really seems happy with Samantha. She also helps our pup keep hydrated which is awesome. Samantha is a true life bet of dogs and really cares for the pet she takes care of.”
About: I am a dog person. Just lost my best friend in October and thought it would be nice to help others with their babies. I will be honest, I don’t have any special skills, just a lot of love to share with your pet while you’re away. I work Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 1 PM. My afternoons are open for walking and playing. My weekends are open unless I am away. I have a nice big fenced in yard and don’t go out much during the week. Have a lot of friends with dogs for playdates.
About: I am attentive, patient, kind, and empathetic toward all animals. I’ve spent my whole life around pets, grew up with four huskies, and have always wanted more pets in my life. I currently have two cats, a senior named Gatsby and a kitten named Pippin. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pets! I work from home full time and set my own schedule, so I can be flexible with timing of walks and drop in home visits. I have a car and easy access to all forms of transportation. I can visit your home and stick to your and your pets’ routines, or pop by in the middle of the day for walks and trips to the dog park.
About: My entire life I have grown up with pets, dogs cats bunnies guinea pigs lizards birds, you name it we had it! Good pet care to me includes knowing their needs way ahead of time . In my time around animals, I have yet to meet one that doesn’t like me, whether it’s a energetic puppy or a lazy house cat. I’m extremely responsible and trustworthy, in addition to being creative at a moments notice. Taking care of animals means you must be ready for whatever may happen, and patience is a key. These are all qualities I possess! To me, being a people person means you also are a pet person. You and your beloved pets will be happy, healthy and safe with me! I’m currently working part time as a yoga teacher, so I have lots of time to take care of your pet kiddos! Whether it’s a walk around the park, some quality play time at home, or meal support, I am open to it all. Meeting a new animal is all about establishing safety and trust with them first, to show them I am a safe human that’s here to love and care for them too. Once they feel safe, we can get to the fun stuff of play time and walks!
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was eight years old, starting with neighborhood and family pets. What began as “dog watch” while neighbors were away quickly turned into a true love for pet care. Families trusted me to supervise playtime, keep their dogs safe, and make sure they felt comfortable and happy while away from home. I’ve had dogs of my own since I was eleven, including an energetic Australian Shepherd, an English Cream Golden Retriever, and a Red Labrador Retriever. Through them, I’ve gained firsthand experience with high-energy, playful breeds as well as more relaxed personalities. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and activity levels whether they need long walks and stimulation or calm companionship. As an animal lover, caring for pets has always been second nature to me. I want to make sure your pet doesn't feel like they're being walked by a stranger, but by a friend. I'm currently studying business at Pace University in Lower Manhattan. I'm fully available Friday through Monday for walks or in-house care. I'm available in the afternoons from 3:15-5PM Tuesday-Thursday. Since I'm entering your home and your dog's space I want to keep the routine they have as best I can. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, portion instructions, and preferred walk times. I make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. I’m very respectful of your home and treat it like I would want mine to be treated. I keep food and water areas clean, wipe paws after walks if needed, and make sure everything is secure before leaving. I can also send regular updates and photos so you feel comfortable knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Most importantly, I don't want your pet to feel like they are with a stranger, but with someone they trust!
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and can’t remember a time when there wasn’t a four‑legged best friend in the house. Growing up with dogs taught me the foundations of great pet care: patience, consistency, and plenty of affection. Today, I’m a proud dog dad to my pup, Ghost. He’s energetic, loyal, and always ready for an adventure. Caring for him has deepened my understanding of canine behavior and reinforced the importance of meeting each dog’s unique needs—whether that’s long walks, playtime, structure, or just a calm presence. I’m also a big cat lover! I’ve always had a soft spot for cats and genuinely enjoy their personalities—from the playful and curious to the calm and cuddly. Whether your pet is a dog, a cat, or both, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for as if they were my own. I have a full time job in Higher Ed I work from 8:30 am to 4:30 PM Mon-Fri. I can work around those hours. I also have an hour for lunch which I can use for additional walks I live by a lake so if your dog loves the water they will get plenty of that! I also have lots of walking trails nearby.
“Great communication - messaged me when he was 5 minutes away, and again after he actually got my anxious pup to walk away from the house so I knew she was doing ok. Would definitely book again when my regular walker isn't available!”

“Elizabeth wonderful to work with and our rambunctious puppy absolutely loves her. She is very patient and kind and helps to reinforce Nova’s training. We know that she will take great care of our girl while we are away.”

About: I have always loved animals and have taken care of many dogs around my neighborhood and within my family, so I am just looking to spread my care farther and provide the best services for you and your dogs! I also just got my account back which had lots of issues before, so I apologize sincerely for that! From Mid-May to end of August, I will be available Monday-Friday, with more specific hours on the weekends! Please reach out as I am flexible! I have a fenced yard and an older dog who is extremely calm and gentle with other dogs. My neighborhood is extremely walkable, safe, and not busy at all.

Middleton dog parents share their Rover experiences
Our first hire from Rover and we couldn’t be happier. Caitlyn communicates well, and goes above and beyond each time. I can tell she actually enjoys spending time with our Mabel and would get along well with any dog cause she has her own so she naturally just knows. We feel like we can trust her and couldn’t have picked a better person for walking Mabel!

I highly recommend Sophia! She's reliable and responsible. Her energy is gentle and positive. My girl, who has horrible separation anxiety, is slow to trust usually, but never looked back when Sophia offered a walk. It is a huge comfort to have someone as trustworthy as Sophia.
