A few years ago I worked as a veterinary technician and dog walker, both for about a year. I learned so much about animal behavior, medication administration, and training during this time! I have also volunteered at an animal shelter (working mainly with cats) for about 4 years, furthering my knowledge about kitties and how to work with them. While I've been out of the animal field professionally for a few years, I got my own Rottie about two years ago. He turned out a bit aggressive so I've been through a lot of training and have gained a lot more knowledge on dog behavior and dog training. Aside from all professional facts, I grew up with some type of pet in my life since I was younger - dogs, cats, turtles - and have a special love for them! I always know how to give them lots of love or even how to handle them properly if they aren't the biggest love bugs :)
