Safety, trust & environment
I'm obsessive about the safety of your pet! Everyone must go through at least two doors before they can get outside. I never leave pets unattended in the yard. Ever. And I live in a quiet, very low-traffic Ward 1 neighborhood with great neighbors who look out for each other. My dog Maggie is a gentle, well-behaved, well-socialized 29-pound French Brittany mix who is very good at "reading" our furry guests and matching their energy level and personality.

Information Gienna S. would like to know about your pet
Food, bathroom, sleep & medication schedules are most important. Let's discuss at our meet & greet! All dogs are good dogs. But all dogs have their quirks, too. Please don't hesitate to fill me in. Counter-surfer? I'll make sure to remove any temptations. Exactly three treats before bed? I'm all about keeping up a routine. Likes to burrow under the covers at night ... or not allowed on the bed at all? Well, the latter will make me sad, but I will follow your rules because *you* know what is best for your dog!
A typical day
We're in a quiet area surrounded by natural spaces, so there are lots of great places to walk and sniff. Don't worry, though: Low-key dogs or couch potatoes will do just fine here, too!

Your Pup's Home Away From Home
Pet care experience
FT care + fenced yard + one client at a time = your pet's favorite home away from home! I'm a long-time pet owner and sitter who fostered for the New England Animal Shelter for several years, helping dogs adjust to new environments & people. I work full-time as an in-home pet sitter and I only take one client's pet(s) at a time.* Dogs are family here and I’ll treat yours like they’re my own. My goal is to make sure you never have to worry about your pets while you are away. *Double bookings or overlapping nights only available with pups of regular repeat clients and only when carefully matched by size and temperament!
Reviews

Thanks for another great stay for our Bean!
This was my first time in the whole 14 years that I’ve left my dogs with a stranger. Gienna never felt like a stranger from the moment I met her. She immediately made me feel safe leaving my kids for an entire week. She sent me updates multiple times a day without prompting. I never had to worry what they were doing. She even finished off some antibiotics with one of my guys. They came home absolutely spoiled. I will absolutely use Gienna again in the future and I would 100% recommend her to anyone (except that means she fills up quickly-totally worth booking early!)

Gienna was amazing with our dog, Harley! She was incredibly thoughtful, caring, and attentive in her drop-in visits. Throughout the entire process-from booking and communication through her last visit of the day-she was prompt and made sure to provide very detailed updates. Our dog loved Gienna and we knew he was in very capable and caring hands! I could not recommend Gienna more!

She took such great care of Remi and we felt so at ease, even though it was the first time we’ve had our pup stay with someone else. We loved the updates and photos and will definitely be using Gienna again!
