About: I've cared for animals of all species since I was a kid. Whether it's for drop-in visits for play, walks, and exercise, or extended stays, it's always a joy to get to know each animal's unique personality. Whether they're full of energy or full on couch potatoes I love spending time with dogs of all kinds. I have experience with senior dogs, anxious dogs, highly active dogs, and those with specific medication schedules. I'm also experienced with (and a big fan of!) caring for cats-whether they're shyer with new folks or instant lovebugs! I'm available daytime Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and during the weekend. I also have flexible evening availability during the week. I am available for house-sitting both over weekends and by arrangement during the week. I care for people's pets in their homes, either on a drop-in basis for walks, play, and exercise, or for overnight pet-sitting. I like to begin with a meet and greet with owners and pets to get to know both parties, and get an introduction to the care needs and personality of the pet. My goal is to create a comfortable, relaxing environment for your animal and to communicate with you so that you have peace of mind while you are away.
“We had Katie dog sit our Berner for 2 nights and have only good things to say. She took excellent care of our senior dog, communicated with us regularly, and was a responsible, conscientious house guest. We’ve used a handful of sitters over the years and Katie was the best sitter we’ve had so far. Would highly recommend!”

“Meredith was great with Waffles while I was abroad. She checked in regularly with updates and sent pictures. She also left the house in great shape when she left! Highly recommend.”

“Jesse did great with Montana while we were away. Montana needs a little extra attention and they clearly got along well. Great to know we can get away with someone like Jesse taking care of our little girl!”

“Vanessa was the perfect dog sitter for our two dogs! Hunter is older and has health issues and has some Pee accidents. Jessie is leash reactive so we were nervous. There were nonissues at all. She is responsible, professional and has a heart for our four legged babies! We will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“Sophia is a wonderful sitter. She is very much a cat person, my Athena warmed up to her IMMEDIATELY - she sent good updates and lots of photos which helped me feel less anxious being away from my baby, knowing she was being so well cared for and had a good companion to look after her. Athena takes supplements and medications, and she did a great job with that also. She had good attention to detail on the administering and taking careful notes during our meet and greet as well. Thanks Sophia, we will be sure to use you again!”

“Libby was wonderful! We were in need of a sitter for week long travel due to family members moving out of the area. Libby came for a meet and greet in the week prior and the dogs/cats loved her! During her stay at the house, she was very communicative, sharing updates and asking questions when needed. She kept the house clean and checked in before the week's end offering to do anything else needed! Our mini zoo enjoyed having Libby stay and we are very grateful to have a dependable sitter available when needed. Highly recommend!”

“This was Teri's first time watching our dog Bowie. She stayed at our house for the weekend and kept us up to date throughout her stay with texts, pictures and even a video! She is incredibly reliable, responsible and we felt at ease having her at our house with Bowie. We are so glad we met her and look forward to having someone we trust continue to watch our pup :)”

“We couldn’t say enough great things about Matt! He was beyond awesome. Not only did he take great care of our pups, communicate every step of the way but he also helped do some odds and ends around the house. We would highly recommend using Matt for your pup needs!”

“Didn’t feel like it was the first time meeting! She was flexible with my schedule and planned fun outings for my dog. She loved him despite his quirks. And he came home exhausted! Would highly recommend Sharon to anyone looking to leave their baby in a loving home.”

About: I love animals and have fostered countless cats and dogs for the last 40 years. I am sensitive to their overt body language and needs. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can make myself available for last minute care or emergencies, and can be readily reached for updates re the pet I’m caring for. I work for Trusted Pet Sitters and have been taking care of many pets in their homes in that process. I care for cats and dogs in their environment and know how to make them feel safe and loved in their owners’ absence.
“Ida is the best!!!! She did great with both of our cats and our very nervous dog. House looked great, pets were happy, all around good! Happy to have her close by to watch ours in the future :)”

“Alexa was a great dog/house sitter. She communicated and sent pictures regularly and the house looked great when we returned, and most importantly, our dog seemed happy and healthy!”

“Halla did SO amazing with my 2 crazy doodles and the house. She sent pictures everyday which put my mind at ease seeing how happy and chill they were, especially since this was the first time we didn’t leave them with a family member. I would absolutely recommend Halla with your fur babies and if we ever need someone again to watch our house and pups I would use her again!”

“Jen was awesome. Was very interested in knowing details about my dog's routine, and sent me regular updates, and lots of pictures :-) Also left me comprehensive feedback at end of stay, with some great insight, and behavior strrategies (he was adopted at the age of 10 ) I felt completely comfortable leaving my precious boy with her.”

We couldn’t say enough great things about Matt! He was beyond awesome. Not only did he take great care of our pups, communicate every step of the way but he also helped do some odds and ends around the house. We would highly recommend using Matt for your pup needs!

Kirssy is amazing! She took care of our 3 month old lab for our first trip away and she was so communicative and we felt that our puppy was in great hands. We really appreciated her attention to detail ensuring she knew our preferences in his routine. We look forward to working with Kirssy again!

Kori was super enthusiastic, attentive, and communicative. We were so grateful knowing she was looking after our kid. This was our first time on Martha's Vineyard (which you can't immediately leave to come home) and she made us feel completely comfortable; she had everything under control. She made it a point to go above and beyond. We would highly recommend Kori for anyone looking for peace of mind with their pets.

Elena is fairly new to dog house sitting and was most attentive via text and spent a lot of quality time with our dog, sharing lots of picture and videos. Feedback: She was perhaps too eager to please - she washed the sheets, bathroom rugs and dog bed cover without asking, something perhaps worth asking the homeowner first. We should also share this is only our second time using Rover in over 10 years. We usually have a regular dog house sitter that was busy. Maybe Rover should have a check list of house items that the Rover employee could ask the client upon meeting them. This would clarify many things for both parties.

Stacey is the best dog sitter - Not only is she an expert with dogs (yes, my pup is very strong willed!) but she is very responsible and sent continuous updates. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my dog was in her care and my dog returned to us very happy (I'm pretty sure he even wanted to go back to play more!). I would recommend Stacey to anyone!
