About: I've had Cats all my life, and Dogs as long as I can remember! I worked my way up from Attendant to Supervisor at a local Veterinary Hospital I was at for 6 1/2 years. I had 15 Attendants working underneath me that I hired, scheduled and trained. I was in charge of Small and Large Breed boarding departments, Doggie Daycare, and cats as well. My duties consisted of Monitoring, Feeding, Medicating and exercising Boarding and Daycare Animals from Friendly to Aggressive and Puppies to Seniors. It’s a blessing to be able to give each pet (or household of pets) their own deserved care and undivided attention rather than having to split my time and energy between pets at a large facility. I consider myself lucky to be able to work for myself and make my own schedule. This allows me to care for pets and still spend time with my family. I have a friendly 6 year old mix spayed female at home that I trained myself. She loves playing ball and going for our daily walks. I have the desire and the time to take care of your four legged besties! I love to exercise and get outside so I have the energy to keep up with your pet and tire them out. =)

I have a flexible schedule since I work part time. I will be available to hang out with your pups most days of the week! I’m attune to dog body language and make sure to read their cues when approaching them. I’ll be sure that they’re secure when entering and exiting a home. My goal is simple: the only part of your pet’s routine that should change is that you’re away. Everything else stays as familiar and consistent as possible. Whether your pet is young and energetic, a senior who prefers a slower pace, or an anxious pup who needs extra reassurance, I’ll meet them where they are. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and give them the patience, affection, attention, and consistency they’re used to. I’ve also found that many pets are happiest staying in the environment they already know and feel safe in, surrounded by their own bed, toys, smells, and familiar routine. Keeping them at home can make your time away feel much less disruptive and help create an easier, less stressful transition. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I’ll follow your instructions closely, respect any boundaries or behavioral needs you share with me, and make sure doors, gates, leashes, medications, feeding routines, and anything else important to their care are handled exactly as requested. Please tell me every quirk, trigger, habit, or precaution, there’s no such thing as too much information! I have a manual for my own dog for sitters! About: I am lucky because dogs continuously find their way into my life! My dog was a stray from Mississippi who wandered into my yard and my heart 11 years ago, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. We eventually moved into a dog-friendly neighborhood, where I’ve become the unofficial neighborhood dog friend. I regularly pop in to visit and care for my neighbors’ pups because I love spending time with them. I’m also lucky enough to have a fenced-in backyard, which not many of my neighbors do, so they bring their dogs over for a good runaround. Having a neighbor pup show up for some backyard playtime is a highlight of my day! One of my favorite “jobs” was being the primary caretaker for my neighbor’s dog during their wedding. My mission was to make sure he got to be part of the celebration and watch his humans get married, while also making sure he was happy, comfortable, and was minimally distracting. I’ve cared for dogs of different ages, personalities, and needs, and I’m comfortable following each dog’s individual routine. I know how important it is to have someone you trust take care of your heart, I mean, dog. During the day, I work at a school and am CORI-checked, so being responsible, dependable, and trusted to care for others is a big part of my everyday life. In the evenings, I’m looking forward to trading my human students for some new pup friends! I’ll care for your dog with the same attention, affection, and respect I’d want someone to give my little pup! I work at a school in Beverly from 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., which leaves my afternoons, evenings, and weekends wide open for quality canine time. I’m an early riser, so morning walks are a highlight of my day before work. Spending time with dogs is already one of the best parts of my day, so adding walks, playtime, snuggles, and pet sitting to my regular routine feels less like a job and more like a vacation! I shower pups with love and attention! I also know that love looks different in every home and for every pup. Some dogs want ALL the snuggles, while others are happiest with a little space, a good walk, and their routine. You know your pup best, and I’m happy to follow whatever routines, habits, rules, and expectations there are from feeding and walks to bedtime rituals and favorite toys.
