About: I have always owned pets and cared for pets of family and friends. I adopted my dog in 2017 and worked hard with a trainer and have learned a lot about walking dogs and caring for dogs and am very cautious and confident walking dogs. I also have 3 senior dogs currently and am used to caring for seniors. I currently work part time and have two children. My job schedule is flexible and I often have gaps in my day and time to walk dogs. I can also do occasional overnights. I will respect and follow your safety reccomendations and needs for your dog. I am very diligent and organized and will be able to follow instructions and keep your dogs safe and happy!

About: Hi, I’m Madelyn! I’ve been petsitting here on Rover and for local friends and neighbors for the past 7 years now. As well as dogs and cats, I also have a lot of experience with ferrets, lizards, bunnies, backyard animals, fish, and pet birds! Over the past 7 years of housesitting in Marblehead, as well as my childhood years spent on a farm and surrounded by a variety of animals, I have gained a lot of experience and skill, when it comes to working with and connecting with animals. Currently I work with a few families on an as needed basis as a family organizer and infant babysitter. My schedule is flexible, and I don’t work many hours at a time. Petsitting and dogwalking is my main priority and I’m grateful I am able to schedule any other bookings around my schedule. Housesitting: I use your home as my “home base” meaning I will sleep and spend any downtime in your home. This does not mean I will be at your home 24/7. Walks: When walking, I will provide your pup with a 30 or 60 min walk around your neighborhood. I’d be happy to collaborate with local doggy friends for group walks as well! Drop-ins: If you are going away and leaving your little friends home alone, I am available to stop in to provide food, water, potty breaks/cleanups, and lots of cuddles!

I can make myself available for last minute care or emergencies, and can be readily reached for updates re the pet I’m caring for. About: I grew up with dogs and have had the wonderful experience of caring for/watching dogs ranging from puppies to elder dogs. Friends and family have relied on me to check-in, dog sit, walk, play, and feed their dogs. They have trusted me with their pets without constraints. I’m currently working full time so this would be on a part time basis. However, my flexibility of WFH, allows me extra time for your pups! Ensuring your pets are comfortable with new faces is the most important. Routines, favorite toys, and time outside are my favorite things to help keep the dogs happy!

About: I first discovered my passion for animal care in fifth grade when I brought home and later adopted my class pet, Spot, an anole lizard who remained with our family for two years. Since then, I have continued developing hands-on experience caring for animals, including working with reactive dogs. During the pandemic, my family adopted our dog Henry, and through that experience I gained valuable insight into supporting dogs with anxiety and learning effective, patient approaches to behavioral management. I currently have full availability for the summer and am flexible in accommodating a wide range of pet care needs, including daytime, evening, and weekend care. I prioritize clear and consistent communication with pet owners to ensure I fully understand each pet’s individual needs and routine. My goal is to provide attentive, reliable care and make sure every pet is safe, comfortable, and receiving the highest quality care possible.

About: I’m obsessed with dogs!!! I’ve always loved being around them, and I’ve been walking and caring for my dog, neighbors dogs, and friends’ dogs since I was 8 years old! I’m very comfortable with dogs of all energy levels, and I understand the importance of training and discipline, while also ensuring they have a safe and great quality of life. I love dogs that like long walks and lots of playtime, but I also love more relaxed, low-energy dogs who prefer slower walks. I’m attentive, patient, and reliable person who wants to make sure each dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I currently work part-time with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available throughout the week for pet care. I’m also taking one summer class on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4–6pm, but outside of that I want to dedicate my time for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pet! Additionally, I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and can often accommodate different schedules with notice in advance! At home we have an open backyard, but we attach a long leash to the dog collar, which is secured to the porch to ensure the dog does not escape. We also have had an invisible fence system that was installed in our prior house.
