My motto is “a tired pet is a good pet”. For cats, playing with their favorite toy(s), giving them all the pets, and spending quality time with them. For dogs, a long walk, trip to the park, playing with treat puzzles, and all the belly rubs ensure they feel well enriched and loved.

Insured & WFH Animal Lover!
Pet care experience
I treat every animal exactly as if they were my own. With over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses, my background is deeply rooted in animal welfare. Growing up in Maryland, I volunteered at a local animal rescue, interned with an equine veterinary clinic, and served as a volunteer and instructor in equine therapy. I came to Boston for college and have resided here ever since! I am still an avid equestrian today, and this lifelong dedication to animals has shaped my approach to pet care: I am incredibly detail-oriented, highly observant, and bring infinite patience to every animal's unique needs. I grew up surrounded by large dogs—including three wonderful Labradors—as well as multiple cats. Recently, my husband, Johnny, and I moved to Marblehead, where we share our home with our two sweet cats, Ozzy and Willis. What to Expect When You Book With Me: Constant Companionship: As a working professional in the consulting industry who is fully remote, my flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent, reliable supervision. I ensure your pets receive lots of daytime companionship and are never left alone for more than 4-5 hours a day. Tailored Attention: Family and friends have always relied on me for meticulous care. I make it a priority to learn everything about your pet's routine, quirks, and needs to ensure they are happy and safe. Professional & Insured: As an established, fully independently insured pet care professional, I am always happy to discuss flexible care and scheduling arrangements that work best for your family. Reliability & Safety: I have my own reliable vehicle, allowing for complete flexibility with visits and peace of mind in the unlikely event of an emergency. Meet & Greets: Finding the right match is important! I am always happy to schedule a virtual or in-person meet-and-greet to ensure we are a mutual fit. Please note: For house sitting, I currently accept booking requests a maximum of 3 months in advance. Thank you for understanding!
Reviews

Katie was great with our 2 yr old German Shepard for a first walk. She was prompt, professional, and Betty really did well with her. Katie is now our go- to dog walker!

Katie is phenomenal. She has been patient with my reactive dog. I know Bindi is in great hands when Katie drops by

Katie was fabulous, she took great care of Jasper & Joe. She sent 3 messages a day, along with a few pics. Messages & pics were incredibly helpful in my not worrying about Jasper & Joe. Overall, a great experience. I would highly recommend Katie for your pet needs.

Katie is absolutely the best
