About: I first discovered my passion for animal care in fifth grade when I brought home and later adopted my class pet, Spot, an anole lizard who remained with our family for two years. Since then, I have continued developing hands-on experience caring for animals, including working with reactive dogs. During the pandemic, my family adopted our dog Henry, and through that experience I gained valuable insight into supporting dogs with anxiety and learning effective, patient approaches to behavioral management. I currently have full availability for the summer and am flexible in accommodating a wide range of pet care needs, including daytime, evening, and weekend care. About: I've had two dogs of my own - one blind, and the other deaf. I am happy to manage your pet's quirks while we're having a great time together, too. Every pet needs something different, so I'll pay close attention to the details of your instructions. I'm also very focused on safety: leashes and familiar walks are a must! I am a teacher, so during the school year, I am available after 4:00pm to check in on your pet so everyone is happy when you arrive home. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
