But we found ourselves in a pinch, and Gienna (thankfully!!) had an opening in her schedule to care for Sully for a long weekend. She and her dog Maggie were so welcoming, and made Sully feel right at home. He was so comfy and was soon prancing in Gienna’s yard. We received many pictures of Sully as he was settling into their home. Gienna communicated well and administered Sully’s meds as we needed. What a find for us and Sully! She sends pictured and sometimes videoed updates at whatever frequency you would like. Our dog is not exactly a dog that gets along well with other dogs, but Tina found a way to let him become buddies with two other dogs she had at the time. We never thought this even possible. She also checked on our cats who we left at home. Usually when we return from a trip the cats let out a very long “meow” meaning: “where have you been?” “We’re glad you’re back” and “don’t leave again.” This time the greeting our cats gave us was minimal, telling us that Tina had obviously taken good care of them socially as well as making sure the automatic feeder was still in order. If you’re thinking about Tina as a possibility rest assured: she’s very good at this. She will always be our first choice when we need a dog/cat sitter.”

About: My regular job is working at a pet boarding facility (boarding at New England Veterinary Clinic!) as a pet care attendant, where I do all the same work as any pet sitter, just at my place of work. I feed dinner, give meds, take out and play with, both cats and dogs. I work part time and I am a student, but as classes end for the semester, I am open except for my 4/week 4 hr shifts at work. I have to be back at my house at night to take care of my own cat, but am available first thing in the morning and last thing at night as well as throughout the day. I am open to working with other species if our needs are compatible. I have pretty open availability at the moment as I work on the next step in my career. To keep your pet comfortable at home, I will do my best to maintain some form of routine in each visit. I also enjoy coming up with creative enrichment for the animals I care for. About: I had 9 wonderful years as a Dog Mom, and currently work at a doggy daycare, where I get to spend my days grooming and giving lots of love to lots of pups! My home is located right next to a beach, as well as many walking paths and great places to take your pup on an adventure! If your pooch is a lounge lizard and prefers to sit on the couch and watch reruns of Friends, I’m your gal! I also have experience administering medications to dogs that require it. About: From 🦀 to 🐴 (but no seahorse experience, sorry) I adore all creatures great and small, “and your little dog too” as someone who didn’t much like to get wet once said! Experienced, sincere and trustworthy housesitter and petsitter but new to this app, I’ll add some of my favorite fur-tography inevitably but many are passed away and it makes me sad. My undivided attention, I’m doing this because I love to, not because I’m bored. It’s worthwhile to me to be of use. About: I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t taking care of animals. Ive always loved dogs and more recently I’ve adopted two cats. I even thought about becoming a veterinarian professionally at one point. I am familiar with all the tasks necessary to take care of animals from taking them on walks to administering medication. I've also received training in first aid and CPR! Right now my schedule is very flexible. I can work any day of the week at pretty much anytime. I prefer shorter term engagements like dog walking but I’m also available for pet sitting over longer periods of time. I live in rural Hillsborough and often walk my own dogs through the woods around my house. It is the perfect environment for animals that like to hike. My own dogs are friendly and energetic. However they are easily separated should they not get along. My house is large enough to give every animal the space they need.

“Tina is a great sitter. She’s watched our dog twice now and the latter time we wondered if he would want to even return to us after a ten day stay. She sends pictured and sometimes videoed updates at whatever frequency you would like. Our dog is not exactly a dog that gets along well with other dogs, but Tina found a way to let him become buddies with two other dogs she had at the time. We never thought this even possible. She also checked on our cats who we left at home. Usually when we return from a trip the cats let out a very long “meow” meaning: “where have you been?” “We’re glad you’re back” and “don’t leave again.” This time the greeting our cats gave us was minimal, telling us that Tina had obviously taken good care of them socially as well as making sure the automatic feeder was still in order. If you’re thinking about Tina as a possibility rest assured: she’s very good at this. She will always be our first choice when we need a dog/cat sitter.”
