About: My name is Meryn DeSimone, I am 22 and recently graduated from Elon University. I've taken care of a variety of different of animals and truly love spending time with pets! I currently have a chinchilla, Frank and a leopard gecko, Sally. My parents have two dogs also, Kip and Hammy and I have grown up with having dogs and cats around so they are second nature to me. About: I’ve been a pet lover all my life. I was lucky enough to work in an Animal Hospital while I was in college and learned basic pet First Aid, and how to spot health issues with animals before they become a problem. (Oral, topical, etc) I am currently working part-time, but I am fully free on days that I am not working. I am available after 11am and before 8pm. I am available on weekdays and weekends, as well as some holidays. I am a college student, so I am only available over the summer, winter, and spring when I am home for breaks. I am currently unable to care for pets in my own home at this time due to the temperament of my pets, however I can care for pets in clients homes. I am familiar with using crates, basic obedience training, and petsitting dogs and cats including feeding, cleaning, playing, and walking the dog.
