“Lindsey did a great job taking care of my two fur babies! She took care of them for a week when I visited my sister in Washington state. Lindsey sent me pictures every day. My pups absolutely loved her and her dog Tilly. I highly recommend her! Beth V”

“Fae and Joe hosted our giant dog at their house for almost a month. They took very good care and our dog loves them! We received daily photos and videos with little notes on how it was going. Gave us great peace of mind that our dog was like a member of their family. Our pup came home looking happy and healthy. They even packed a small parting gift. Hard to find such great caretakers! Thank you!”

“Amazing. Took care of our 8 year old and our new puppy who had never been anywhere and they were so well cared for. Consistent communication and photos. They were well exercised and exhausted when we got them back home! So excited to have made this connection!”

“Natali was great! She watched my pooch for me last minute and ensured he was comfortable and well taken care of after being neutered a few days prior. Would definitely recommend and book her again!”

“Michelle was so great with our dogs! She was so accommodating about making sure thy felt at home and sent us cute pics and videos! We had never left them and would use her again!”

“Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! She was extremely communicative and sent lots of photos and videos, which I really appreciated. I had to book last minute due to a family emergency, and she completely put my mind at ease. Lily was so well cared for and happy when I returned. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“Georgia always has a great time with Natasha and Jonathan. She is an older dog and has to take multiple medications but they are always great at helping her take them. There are always lots of dogs around to keep her occupied!”

“We used Sam to board our dog Mia for the first time recently, and she was absolutely amazing! We just adopted Mia two months ago (she’s a rescue from the south), so we were super nervous about leaving her for a week. At the dog hotel we used to use for our other pup, they literally charged us $4 per photo and we constantly had to beg them for updates. Sam was the exact opposite. Right from the meet-and-greet, she was so attentive and asked tons of questions to make sure she knew exactly how to give Mia the best care. While we were gone, she sent so many updates and pictures without us even having to ask, which gave us total peace of mind. She even handled Mia's allergy medication which was another concern of ours. Plus, her dog Poppy is the absolute cutest and friendliest pup ever! If want someone who will actually give you pup personal, hands-on love and attention, you need to book Sam.”

“Renee was so kind and thoughtful in taking care of my pup! She gave me constant updates and left me feel comfortable and confident that my fur baby is in good hands. I was able to enjoy my vacation without having to worry about him! Thanks Renee!”

“Deb was an excellent sitter for my dog Rocky. She was very communicative and kept us informed. She sent us home with a gift for my soccer playing pup that was sweet and unexpected. Her yard is beautiful and she is very active with her charges. Highly recommend! We be rebooking.”

“Jing, made this experience a very positive one. I hadn’t left my 2yr old Zuchon previous to this. I felt very reassured for the duration my fur baby was in her home. My pet enjoyed the doggy day camp, and will continue to use Jing whenever possible. Thanks Rover!”

“My Pugs had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving! They were given a special Thanksgiving dinner which I am sure they went crazy over. I received updates and pictures daily and I would definitely use them again.”
“Our minidoodle Sam had a great stay with Charlotte and Jordan, and their dog Kyber. Two things we especially like: They generally just take one dog at a time (more attention, and Sam loves attention!), and they live near some great walking trails. Very nice people.”

“Rita was a wonderful sitter for our two dogs. She is very communicative, flexible, and our dogs felt quite at home at Rita's. She sent us pictures of them lounging and playing with her dogs so we know they had a great time! We would happily have Rita watch our dogs again. Thank you Rita!”

“Henry is wonderful. Very enthusiastic about my caring for my cats and all the wild creatures I feed. My cats can be shy but they both bonded well with him. I highly recommend Henry.”

“Vanessa did a fantastic job taking care of our cat Calamari while we were away over the holidays. She would send pictures and updates at each visit which is comforting to know that Calamari is well taken care of and happy. Vanessa is reliable, communicative, and most importantly she’s passionate about taking great care of our pets. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Leslie was super communicative, sending multiple pictures and updates every visit. She was very easy to work with and our cat was happy and healthy when we got back. Will definitely rebook!”

About: I have cared for cats for almost 6 years through short-term petsitting and extended periods. I have cared for cats of neighbors, family members, as well as those in my community. These cats include kittens ranging to seniors, as well as different behaviors. I also have veterinary knowledge and I am trained in FearFree, Pet First aid, and Pet CPR. My background in the veterinary field and personal experience means that I am also capable of administering any medications including daily medications or preventatives. (Oral, topical, etc)

“Anna was fantastic with our three cats. She checked in on them daily and gave them all the love we couldn’t. So many pictures of them made us so comfortable with being away because you always worry about your pets. Will for sure book again!”

“Maria has watched our cats on two occasions now and has done a great job each time! Hard to find with others- but she even cleans the area/litter around the litter boxes and just does a great job with everything -from actually swapping out to clean fresh bowls at each feeding. Cleanliness, and friendliness goes a long way! We are so grateful we found her. Not an easy task with 5 cats! I would recommend her to care for your animals, too.”

“Thanks for taking care of the pets. They had an amazing time with Rylee. We had a little bit of hiccup with ant getting into food situation as well as automatic food bowl breaking in the middle of the trip but Rylee was very kind to get us ant traps and clean the food up for the cats. Lots of great communication and amazing pictures. The pets were in a great hands.”

“It was my first time using Rover, and Julia made it such an easy experience! She is so kind, and I am thankful that she was able to drop in on our cats while we were on vacation. She sent so many cute and funny pictures, and the cats seemed to really love her. She even went the extra mile and took our trash out for us. We will definitely book with Julia for our next trip!🫶”

“My dog has separation anxiety and Julia gives him the attention and love he needs to feel comfortable while I'm gone. I love that she has a fenced in yard so my dog can sniff around safely and enjoy the sunshine!”

“Jodi was very accommodating with us to have our dog cared for while we are visiting the area. She has a great backyard for dogs to play. She also gave us great recommendations for things to do and where to get the best clam chowder. If we are ever back visiting we hope Jodi will be available to take care of Nelly.”

“Jade watched my two pups with very different needs (one is small, 15 years old; the other is 1.5 yo husky mix) for the day as we were going through town on a road trip. We needed somewhere for the pups to be while we did a non-dog friendly day. Jade was super responsive and accommodating. The dogs happily walked off with her without any hesitation (I trust them to read the situation). She asked good questions about their care, entertained the pup during the day by introducing her to a doggy walking pad inside since it was extremely hot out. She also quickly and easily accommodated an earlier pick up when we finished up early. While we aren’t local to use her again, I would do it if the need arises. Much better than a kennel! Pups were happy when we picked up.”

“This was my first time on Rover and my yellow lab Gus had a great time with Rebeca and her family! She provided photo updates and was very friendly. They live on a nice neighborhood and have a great home for dogs to feel at home and play!! Thank you again. We will definitely be booking again with Rebeca”

“Natali took such great care of our 11 month old puppy during his first overnight stay away from home. She was patient, communicative, and kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Even though he was a little nervous from being in a new environment, she was incredibly understanding and attentive to his needs. We could tell he was well cared for and had a great time with Natali and Rocko. We’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!”

“Lisa saved the day and took great care of our pups. Last minute request and made our stressful situation effortless. Cant wait for the pups to go back and spend time at her beautiful house and property!”

“Natasha was a great sitter for Cujo! She was very responsive, flexible with our timing, and showed a lot of care for our pup. She sent video and picture updates and gave him a lot of play time outside! Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a caring sitter.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and can’t remember a time when there wasn’t a four‑legged best friend in the house. Growing up with dogs taught me the foundations of great pet care: patience, consistency, and plenty of affection. Today, I’m a proud dog dad to my pup, Ghost. He’s energetic, loyal, and always ready for an adventure. Caring for him has deepened my understanding of canine behavior and reinforced the importance of meeting each dog’s unique needs—whether that’s long walks, playtime, structure, or just a calm presence. I’m also a big cat lover! I’ve always had a soft spot for cats and genuinely enjoy their personalities—from the playful and curious to the calm and cuddly. Whether your pet is a dog, a cat, or both, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for as if they were my own. I have a full time job in Higher Ed I work from 8:30 am to 4:30 PM Mon-Fri. I can work around those hours. I also have an hour for lunch which I can use for additional walks I live by a lake so if your dog loves the water they will get plenty of that! I also have lots of walking trails nearby.
“Jonathan was fantastic with Bella while we were traveling for 2 weeks. We received daily pictures of the walks he took with her. Prior to leaving, Jonathan took Bella for a practice walk. Jonathan was very attentive to Bellas anxiety and on occasion stubbornness to walk. We highly recommend Jonathan and will definitely hire him again when we travel again.”

“Bella visited with Sonny again this past week on Tuesday & Wednesday & he was very happy to see her! They are forming a lovely bond & we are very grateful for the loving care she provides to our little guy!”

“Elizabeth wonderful to work with and our rambunctious puppy absolutely loves her. She is very patient and kind and helps to reinforce Nova’s training. We know that she will take great care of our girl while we are away.”

About: My entire life I have grown up with pets, dogs cats bunnies guinea pigs lizards birds, you name it we had it! Good pet care to me includes knowing their needs way ahead of time . In my time around animals, I have yet to meet one that doesn’t like me, whether it’s a energetic puppy or a lazy house cat. I’m extremely responsible and trustworthy, in addition to being creative at a moments notice. Taking care of animals means you must be ready for whatever may happen, and patience is a key. These are all qualities I possess! To me, being a people person means you also are a pet person. You and your beloved pets will be happy, healthy and safe with me! I’m currently working part time as a yoga teacher, so I have lots of time to take care of your pet kiddos! Whether it’s a walk around the park, some quality play time at home, or meal support, I am open to it all. Meeting a new animal is all about establishing safety and trust with them first, to show them I am a safe human that’s here to love and care for them too. Once they feel safe, we can get to the fun stuff of play time and walks!
“I think Matthew for the two quick walks this week. It was so helpful and you took care of Luna and I appreciate your feedback and I appreciate you walking her. I will definitely ask you again to walk her. Thank you so much.”

About: Welcome! I go by “Nancy!” 🐾🐈🦮 I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember and have had pets for over 25 years. Caring for animals has always been a part of my daily life, not just a hobby. Over the years I’ve had different kinds of pets, and I currently have two budgies and a betta fish. I enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and earning their trust at their own pace. I’m naturally attentive and tend to notice when something seems off or when a pet needs a little extra patience and care. I understand how much pets mean to their families, and I would care for yours the same way I care for my own. Animals have always been a part of my life. I’m currently a student chaplain, a full-time mom to two girls, and a pet mom to two budgies and a betta fish. Caring for animals is already part of my daily routine, and in my free time, I’d love the opportunity to spend time with and care for other pets. While I’m new to this platform offering dog walking services, I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoy being around animals. 🐾 I treat every pet as if they were my own. I focus on safe, enjoyable walks, follow the owner’s instructions carefully, and make sure each pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they need. I also provide updates so owners know how their pet is doing.
About: I am a 32-year-old living in a house in Wenham (with a large backyard!) with flexible work hours. I work from home, and I'm a writer so hours are flexible, so I can take your dog for a walk whenever you need me to. I am responsible, kind, and athletic, and would love taking your dog on a long neighborhood walk, a dog park, or another location you'd prefer. I’ve been a Rover sitter for over five years, and have watched all kinds of pups! Young or old, big or small, energetic and outgoing or shy and timid… I’ve watched (and loved) them all! Being a Rover sitter is truly one of my biggest joys. As someone who loves dogs but doesn’t have one yet myself, I will truly treat your pup like my own and make sure he or she has a fantastic time away :) I am a previous pet owner myself -- growing up I had an incredibly energetic golden retriever dog, as well as a cat who lived 15 years. I also used to volunteer at the Ipswich Animal Shelter because I love all animals! I work a 9-to-5 job from home, but my role as a writer means I have limited meetings — so I have a lot of flexibility to take your pup for walks and play with him or her throughout the day. I follow the owner’s advice when it comes to how to make the animal feel safe and comfortable in my home. I ensure I am always aware of where the pup or cat is and watch them so they don’t get themselves into harm’s way, and I follow the animal’s lead when it comes to whether they want to be picked up or pet or whether they want space to explore a bit. I work full-time from home, and as a writer I have a flexible schedule to play and walk your pet throughout the day as well as on weekends. We have a house in Wenham, and I always ensure anything potentially dangerous is off the floor before a pup comes over. I also make sure they have their own space in my house on a dog bed or blanket with toys so they feel safe and welcomed.
About: I have been a dog owner for 10+ years. I understand their behavior and body language to meet their needs. I am patient, dependable and want to make you and your pet comfortable. My goal is to have fun and provide quality care for your loved pet. I am currently working two part jobs this summer. My availability is all day Sunday and Mondays and after 2 pm Tuesday -Thursday. Not available Friday -Saturday. I will follow each pets normal routine and schedule as closely as possible depending on what their individual needs are. I will provide ample opportunity for play , exploration and comfort. I am comfortable with giving medication, making sure your pet has fresh water at all times and food. I can keep the owner updated with photos and videos if preferred by the owner. I will monitor your pet closely when I am present. I focus on keeping their routine consistent and making sure they have a safe environment.

About: I am attentive, patient, kind, and empathetic toward all animals. I’ve spent my whole life around pets, grew up with four huskies, and have always wanted more pets in my life. I currently have two cats, a senior named Gatsby and a kitten named Pippin. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pets! I work from home full time and set my own schedule, so I can be flexible with timing of walks and drop in home visits. I have a car and easy access to all forms of transportation. I can visit your home and stick to your and your pets’ routines, or pop by in the middle of the day for walks and trips to the dog park.
“Great communication - messaged me when he was 5 minutes away, and again after he actually got my anxious pup to walk away from the house so I knew she was doing ok. Would definitely book again when my regular walker isn't available!”

“Danielle took such great care of our dogs while we were away! She was very communicative, sent updates during every walk, and we received plenty of pictures. Thank you so much Danielle!”

About: Animals have always had a special place in my heart. I have worked as a veterinary technician and dog walker, volunteered at cat shelters, and had my own aggressive Rottie. These experiences have helped me learn so much about animal behavior and training, medication administration, and tending to different types of needs a pet may have. While I did not make a career out of caring for animals, I still want to care for them in any way I can!

“Our minidoodle Sam had a great stay with Charlotte and Jordan, and their dog Kyber. Two things we especially like: They generally just take one dog at a time (more attention, and Sam loves attention!), and they live near some great walking trails. Very nice people.”

“Greta is an amazing dog sitter! She provided lots of updates every day, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog looked incredibly happy and well cared for throughout the stay. She even gave my dog a bath, which was such a thoughtful offer. Juniper is also absolutely adorable, and it was wonderful that my dog had such a sweet companion to play with. I would highly recommend Greta to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive dog sitter!”

“Piper came back happy from Belinda’s! Belinda was very responsible, flexible, and made sure to slowly introduce Piper to her own pup! If I am back in town with Piper I will definitely reach out to her again!”

“Sylwia was amazing! We dropped our Harley off for a weeks stay at Sylwia's home. Our regular sitter had something come up and Sylwia came to the rescue. Sylwia's family welcomed Harley as if he was one of their own dogs. Sylwia sent us daily updates and photos of Harley. They visited the beach and took long walks each day. Our flight home was delayed and Sylwia was so accommodating, waiting up for us to pick Harley up.”

“Lori was an absolute delight! She sent us adorable pictures of our pup every night, capturing his joy during their walks and his playful antics around the house. When we finally picked him up, he couldn’t resist running back to her to bid her farewell, even amidst his excitement to reunite with his family. This heartwarming sight reaffirmed the strong bond he had formed with her while we were away. We highly recommend Lori and are already planning to use her services again. Finding Lori has made us feel much more at ease about going away, knowing that our pup will be in good hands and thoroughly enjoying himself.”

“I’m so glad I found Stacey to care for my dog. She was Amazing! She provided pictures and updates daily which put my mind at ease. She took such good care of her that I was afraid she wouldn’t want to come home! Truly the BEST! Thank you!!”

“Omg my lil guy love being with Lisa and her family! She’s awesome with my baby boy! I highly recommend Lisa to any Friends or family member to care for there fur babies ❤️”
