About: Hello there! I recently moved to the South Shore from New York, and I'm really looking forward to getting to know the area, enjoying the beautiful nature of Massachusetts, all while befriending your pets! I've worked with animals for most of my adult life. From pet daycares and full-time dog walking to my current career as a veterinary receptionist. I've also volunteered at a TNR. When caring for other people's pets, I like to specialize in reinforcing proper training, taking long, tiring walks, engaging in lots of loving play time, and makong sure your pets never feels alone. Workong in the veterinary field, I also feel very comfortable with pets woth medical needs as well as administering medications, with an owner's instructions. My care is not limited to cats and dogs, either! I'd also love to take care of your rabbits/rodents, reptiles, amphibians, birds, etc. Being new to town, I'm currently settling in, and my schedule is completely open! I would really love to develop a regular schedule with your pet in order to earn their trust and build a close relationship with tjem! In my personal life, I have quite a bit of experience administering medications to both cats and dogs, particularly seniors. In my job as a veterinary receptionist, I've aided the ER as an assistant, holding pets during some procedures and aiding in more intensive medications.

“Kayla was amazing! Our dogs loved her walks and she provided lots of updates and pictures. We will definitely use her again!!”

Kathy C.
“Kathy is a responsible pet caregiver. She has watched my now three year old golden retriever since he was a three month old puppy. Staying overnight, coming over to take him out for a walk, or even stop by to let him out. Kathy has also owned and cared for cats, and is knowledgeable about what to do if there is something wrong with a cat or dog. I strongly recommend without hesitation Kathy for Rover. She will provide an incredible experience for both pet and pet owner.”

Laurie F.
“Laurie is a natural with dogs. She met my Jack Russell and immediately they were great together She is very flexible with her schedule and reliable . My dog has frequent eye drops three times a day and she made sure this was a priority. My dog is also very active and needs a lot of running time and she also makes sure he had frequent trips to the dog park or trails. We are grateful for Laurie 🐶😊”

Brianna L.

“We’ve had Brianna watch our dogs twice in the last couple months and our experience with her has been 10/10. She is extremely responsive, such a dog person, and catered to our needs (we have a lot- slightly neurotic dog parents). One of our dogs needs medication every morning and evening at a certain time and she texted us on the dot to let us know when he had it. She gave us the peace of mind to be able to enjoy our time away. We will for sure be using Brianna again!”

Steven Scott D.
“Steven is great! He is a fear free handler, always takes the time to get to know the pets and allow them to be comfortable. Lots of knowledge on dog handling and training. He is great with my small animals! The chickens all love him!”

Megan D.

“Megan is the best! My dog, Gronk, loves her and she helped me find my missing cat with success (cat went missing on my time). She handled a big Bernease and a frantic mom away on vacation with ease, strength and grace. I immediately felt safe to give Megan the keys to my home and care for my pets and my house. She gave me updates and was incredibly responsible with time with and away from my pets. I am so grateful for Rover and they are so blessed to have Megan as am I ?”

Emily D.

“Emily was incredibly reliable, communicative, and great with Coco! We will definitely be requesting her again!”

Chelsea D.

“Second time booking with Chelsea and second time coming home to a happy pup. She also dealt with a surprise water leak and notified us of it and sent videos for us to try to plan around while away. Very grateful for all she did while we were away!!”
