“I have booked with Sara twice now- for check-in and walking my Great Dane. She has been wonderful and took excellent care of Roady. She’s very responsive and sends updates, which really put me at ease. I had not used pet services for my dog before this and would 100% recommended Sara!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Currently in my house, we have 3 dogs and 2 cats that I help take care of. I have been on Rover for about 6 years. I am an elementary teacher and high school girls basketball coach. I am currently on summer break since I am an elementary teacher. This means that I have a lot of free time because I am not working anywhere else. I am a very active person, so I love playing with all dogs and taking them on nice, long walks. I have also been around dogs and cats my whole life, so I love spending time with all animals.
“Madeline was great! She came for a meet and greet before the visit, and then came on time for both bookings during the day we were gone, gave updates, and sent pictures. We will definitely be requesting Madeline to come back. Thank you!!”
“10/10 would highly recommend booking with Natalie! This was my first time using a sitter for my cat and Natalie made me feel so much more at ease with the care she provided. She was super communicative, sent lots of pictures, and was flexible with my schedule. I'll definitely be booking again with her in the future!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who has grown up with both dogs and cats and can't imagine life without them. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or simply a little extra love while you're away, I'll treat them with the same care, patience, and attention that I would give my own. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy while giving you peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and care to the pets I look after. I understand that every animal has unique needs and personalities, and I am committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're unavailable. I will care for your pets as if they were my own and provide dependable communication and updates for your peace of mind. I will follow your pet's routine, provide plenty of love and attention, keep their environment clean and safe, and make sure they receive the care they need while you're unavailable. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
“Andrew was absolutely incredible from day one. He was very quick to respond to questions and any concerns. He made an extra effort to make sure my dog was eating and when he wasn’t, Andrew offered to bring a snack to eat with my dog. Chadwick has developed a habit of only eating when I eat, so I found that so amazing that Andrew would do that. He was always on time and sent pictures and texts to make sure I was not worrying about my fur baby. Book Andrew if you can. He was truly worth it.”

“I trust her with my dog and two kitties - that says it all! I can see in all the photos she sends that they love to see her when she cares for them! She even made sure to clean up messes the kitties made on the rug while I was traveling. Her honest and timely communication is very appreciated. Highly recommend Madeline!”

“Jeremy and Rui treated my boy Zero with so much love and care and zero was very taken care of while I have been gone. “Mindy did an amazing job watching my sweet girl Ivy! She would come over once a day to scoop her litter box, refill her food and water, and spend some quality time playing with her! I enjoy how she brings her own camera as well to keep an eye on things while she is not there - it shows how much she cares! Ivy really enjoyed Mindy’s company and was very well taken care of!!”

“Meghan took great care of Dakota while we were away for a few hours. She gave her lots of frisbee time, and breaks and water to cool her off because it was a hot day. She is very caring and a true dog person. :-) Dakota was so relaxed and happy when we arrived home. We found Meghan at the last minute and are so grateful that she was available. Such a relief. We highly recommend her.”
“Lani did a great job taking care of my cat and my (very old) Chinchilla!! She was totally reliable, showed my pets lots of love and attention and communicated well with me regularly. I will definitely hire her again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
