“I recommend Tiesha to anyone who wants a communicative, caring, and personalized sitting experience. We hired Tiesha for two weeks, twice daily to watch two cats. One of our cats requires medication. Tiesha made sure that they got the love and warmth they needed while we were gone. She also went above what was asked for, collecting our mail and taking out the trash when it was full. I would hire her again without reservation.”

About: To say animals are one of my absolute greatest joys in life would be an understatement! As co-founder of my own self-funded animal sanctuary in Scituate, providing compassionate, rescuing and taking care of animals of all kinds is one of my "true callings." I am absolutely honored to have the opportunity to care for your one-of-a-kind, non-human companion. ** Currently Accepting: 😺 Cats (all ages), 🐶 Dogs (2+ years), 🐔Chickens (all ages), 🐴 Horses (all ages) ** As a cat mom of 3, I respect and fully understand the unique needs and behaviors of felines. In addition to all the normal cat-related tasks (litter boxes, feeding, playing, etc.), I also have lots of experience dispensing prescription and OTC medications (liquid, tablet, injection, topical, etc.) to cats. I sadly had to master those skills when caring for one of my cats that passed away in February 2024 after a nearly 2-year battle with GI lymphoma. At one point, my poor angel was taking 5+ different medications per day that all had to be dispensed within certain timeframes. If your cat has similar needs, fear not - I can and would love to help you! Although I do not have dogs of my own, I regularly take care of my mom's rescue labs and would be happy to drop in for your pup(s) as well! Please note that I do not have much experience medicating dogs other than wrapping a pill in cheese ("the cheese tax" 🧀) or a pill pocket. Same goes for horses. Though I hope to adopt a few mini horses soon, I have experience performing general "stablehand" tasks such as stall cleaning (mucking out), feeding, grooming, and exercising/walking. Lastly, I am proud to specialize in chicken care. My sanctuary is home to 9 hens as of right now, 2 of which are disabled and live indoors with us. Surprisingly, the cats get along well with them! Whether you have a backyard flock or a (spoiled) house chicken like me, I LOVE hanging out with those crazy dinosaurs. 🦖 Not only will I refill feeders/waterers, clean up daily droppings, and collect eggs, but I am also comfortable grooming (bathing, "pedicures") and medicating (liquid, tablet, topical) them. And hey, when is the last time you deep cleaned the henhouse and run? It's probably overdue, right? Give me ~1-2 hours and I will make your coop sparkling clean. Please note that services outside of the standard drop-in chicken care are at an additional cost. I am currently "between jobs" and although my own "zoo" keeps me quite busy, I am available (and looking forward to) taking care of your pet(s). CATS: feeding, litter box, cleaning, socializing, medicating (liquid, pill, injection) DOGS: feeding, cleaning, socializing, medicating (pill only) CHICKENS: feeding, cleaning, medicating (liquid and pills only), socializing HORSES: feeding, stall cleaning, grooming, exercising, socializing

About: I have grown up with 2 dogs (both Bernese Mountain Dogs but have had experiences with other breeds) 2 crazy orange cats, and 3 bunnies. I volunteer at a local shelter every week and have been doing it for just over a year and a half. I have lots of experience pet sitting for friends and family and would love to extend my clientele and meet new furry friends! My schedule is quite flexible since I have just graduated high school and won’t be starting college till late August. I already take care of my Cats and Rabbits I own now so adding a couple more pets into my schedule is always fun for me! I have a fenced in yard if I am watching your pup in my home and I am experienced with administering oral medication if this is something your pet needs. While I currently do not know pet CPR I am planning to take a course this summer so I can further my own education on animal safety. I take my clients safety as my main priority and want to create a healthy environment around your pets. There are absolutely no smokers in my family and I have quite areas located around my house for animals that require that or would like to have that as an option. I will also be able to keep my pets and your pets separated if there are worries they may not get along.
