“Rebecca is THE BEST and such a life saver!!! I cannot say enough good things! First, the sitter we were suppose to have canceled on us a week before we were going on vacation. I was in full panic when I found Rebecca on Rover. She got back to me very quickly and eased my anxious mind by answering my million questions. We set up a meet and greet and my shy great dane went right up to her like they were long lost friends! Both of my pups were so comfortable from the very start. The original sitting was suppose to be 5 nights. Because of the snow storm (January 25-26) our flight was canceled and Rebecca was luckily available to accommodate us by staying for 3 additional nights last minute! I received pictures and updates frequently with all the silly things our pups were up to. Without a doubt, I know they were spoiled and loved on while we were gone. I could not have asked for a better experience for us or our pups. Thank you again for being the best! Dot and Echo miss you a ton already and can't wait to see you again!”

“I could not recommend Shauna more! She stayed at our home with our pup for over a week while we were on vacation and our house and dog could not have been in better hands. She sent wonderful updates/photos and cared for our place as if it were her own. Having someone so responsible while being away made our trip just that much more enjoyable. We can hardly wait to have her back and I know our furry friend agrees! Thank you, Shauna!”

“We trust Hannah with our 2 German shepherds any day! And they have some BIG personalities. Hannah is so flexible, easy to communicate with and always keeps us updated on our two crazy girls. Highly recommend!”

About: Something I think sets me apart from other sitters is my experience working at a doggy-daycare. That environment and the chaos that comes along with it has prepared me to take care of any dog of any size. Likewise, last summer I spent approximately 2 months unofficially training and dog-sitting a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy, so I have experience in taking care of younger dogs as well. I also have a bulldog at home, so I have a deep understanding in what it takes to take care of dogs of that nature. Starting Mid-May I will be interning, so depending on my hours I may be more avaiable in the afternoon or mornings. However, that means I have every Sunday free and would be able to pop-in and out frequently. We have an electric fence for my dog, but she does not wear her collar (classic bulldog) so we make sure she is supervised at all times. I will not let any dogs play unsupervised and would only bring them on agreed upon areas to walk, or anything else owners permit.
“Colleen did a wonderful job watching our dog for a week while we were out of town. She left our home extremely clean and was very communicative with updates and photos. We’d recommend her for anyone looking for pet care and house sitting!”

“Madeline did a great job taking care of Teddy during Thanksgiving break. She was very flexible with our moving flights and sent a lot of updates. Teddy was very happy and taken great care of when we came home.”

“Our first time hiring outside of family membets so we were extremly netvous. The rover site was a nice easy platform and process as well. We chose Janice and we knew immediately at the meet and greet we chose the right person for us and Louie our 2yo Cavapoo. She had us feeling at ease and comfortable thruout the visit that we had no issues to worry about. She provided a pic and feedback to us while away. She was very professional, friendly, kind and knowledgable. Through our comunications with her i knew she loved and nutured all animals and safety was of utmost importance. She is a very loving and conscientious knowledgable caretaker and would not hesitate to hire her again! The very best and Louie and our family are very fortunate to have found her, we thank you Rover!!”

About: I have always loved taking care of animals and wanted to be a vet as a kid. I've had experience with rescue dogs, feral cats, dairy goats, a pet rabbit, and a singular lizard. I wish I could adopt all the animals, but that isn't reasonable right now. I am a writer and work part-time as a behavioral therapist for children, so my hours are very dependent on my client's availability. So to fill in the down time I love to hang out with my dog, and hopefully more animal friends soon! I know how it feels to have to leave your pet for long hours, and how much a quick visit or walk around the neighborhood can help so much! I don't mind high energy dogs or skittish rescues, and am just happy to help!
“Eric was able to jump in fairly last minute to watch our girls when other accommodations fell through. Eric was a great communicator, logistics were easy and our girls had a great day with Eric. We are super thankful!”

About: I have taken care of my families pets and my own dog for years. I love helping out with my families dogs, from feeding them to walking and making sure they are hydrated. I also have an energetic dog and I'm used to having a strong grip on her leash. I'm at college from late August to early May so my day usually consists of going to classes, studying/doing homework and spending time with my friends. When I'm not at school I work at a nursing home as a server from 4-7, but I can be flexible with my schedule. I try to work at least 2-3 days a week at minimum and 5-7 at most. I have one dog and she's very friendly with people and other dogs. I have a good backyard for dogs to run around in and go to the bathroom. I also live near the beach and two parks that are dog friendly.
“Julia was a wonderful sitter for our puppy Millie. She had very good communication from the start, was prompt, and took great care of our dog. Photos were sent of our happy puppy playing with toys and playing outside. She obviously enjoys spending time with dogs and we’d be lucky to have her watch Millie again.”

About: I've always loved dogs and cats and felt very passionate about them. I have two years animal shelter experience taking care of dogs and cats. This included feeding several different types of foods and diets to pets, ensuring pets' safety, cleaning cages and kennels, cleaning litter boxes, and taking out dogs into the yard. I am available most days and times every week to care for your pets. I offer mostly drop ins and I do have exceptions like I will be going on vacation this month so just message me within one day to request a booking. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I pay attention to dogs and cats body languages to ensure their safety needs and emotional needs are met. I let pets come to me first so that they can feel comfortable and safe around me. I treat every pet with respect and if they do not want to say hi yet, that is totally fine with me I will feed them and clean litterbox, etc and they will warm up to me eventually. I watch puppies and young dogs very carefully so that they do not get into trouble and I always make sure the floors are puppy/dog proofed.
About: I have had my two cockapoos for 9 years, and have recently adopted a 3 month old kitten! I have cared for many dog breeds, cats, even chickens and bunnies! I’ve been in the pet sitting business for 10 years, and I love bonding with every pet I meet. I’m currently at my third year at BSU. With plenty of free time, I’d love to care for your fur babies and make sure they have everything they need! However, I’m unavailable M,W,F 8AM-1PM until Dec. 20th. In a client’s home, I make it a priority to maintain the pet’s routine as closely as possible. I ensure fresh water is always available and food is provided according to the pet’s schedule and dietary needs. I also take time to engage with the pet through play and walks. Cleanliness is very important to me, so I make sure feeding areas and any used supplies are kept clean and organized.
“Audrey watched our very energetic 2 yr old bulldog in our home for a last minute trip. She did a great job helping our dog settle in at home without us, taking her for lots of walks and other outings keeping her occupied but still very much in her daily routine. Audrey communicated very well and sent lots of updates during our time away. It is clear that she truly loves caring for dogs and went above and beyond in every way to make this a very positive experience all around!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8. I had a neighborhood dog walking business and have always had a pet dog in my household. Along with watching friends animals (cats, dogs, exotic animals, birds, etc!. I currently have a one year old dog who’s name is Lala😊 I’m on break right now so i’m free everyday! When im at college I normally have class once or twice a day but don’t have class friday, saturday or sunday! I take care of them, go on walks, if the owners have preferences I continue those even while they are not there (in my home or their own). My goal is to make your furry companions day and provide a caring and loving environment.
“Dan watched our 2 dogs and cat in our home for 4 nights. The animals were all happy upon our return and the house was the way we left it. Dan was easy to communicate with. I would use him again and recommend him to friends.”

“Mia took great care of our 2 dogs while house sitting for a week while we were on vacation. One of ours is a new puppy, and she was very flexible as we were getting to know the puppy, too. She made time to meet our dogs beforehand and was very responsive during her stay and sent lots of pics! We will definitely be using Mia in the future!!”

Evan did an excellent job watching our dogs over the holiday. He was extremely communicative, responsive and timely. He was thorough with questions and details before he started so he had everything down. He administered medication and did an overall great job managing our two older dogs. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing reliable pet care.

Angelina kept us updated with texts and pics of Tuna. Tuna is a 2 year old cattle dog mix so he can be busy and stubborn and wild sometimes. Angelina did great with him and the house looked great when we returned. Will definitely be asking her to come back again!
