About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover who grew up begging for a dog. After college, I brought home my first dog—a golden retriever who was the center of my world. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all kinds: high-energy, troublemakers, dogs with medical needs, seniors, and everything in between. I’m comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I truly enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. After meeting my husband, we added a rescue to our household and regularly help care for and babysit dogs for family and friends. After saying goodbye to my beloved Golden, our house has felt a little empty. While we’re not ready to add another full time dog, we love welcoming an extra companion to our home for short term stays! My uncle next door had a dog who had 3 litters of golden retriever mixes. I helped him raise and take care of them. In college, I was a nanny for a family with a lab and black cat. When they were out of town I took care of their pets. I nannied for a second family a few years later and babysat their golden retriever, bunny, and 2 persian cats when they would go on vacation as well. I have a miniature pincher mix, she is the friendliest dog and gets along with any dog or person. Couch potato all day kind of dog but loves to go play with other dogs at the dog park. About: Bio is underneath but first what to expect from me when you book the following services: Dog Walk: depending on your needs and likes, I will walk your dog(s) in your neighborhood or take them somewhere else if preferred. I always carry treats, doggie baggies and extra leashes. The dog will remain leashed at all times. Pick up time can vary by about up to half an hour due to other clients prior. Drop-In visit: Food and fresh water is given, as well as toilet break. To fill agreed upon 30 minutes there will be snuggles, play time or perhaps quick brushing if desired. Client may add another 30 minutes and specify if a little walk is desired as well. If an accident occurred this will be dealt with right away and added to notes and pictures. Overnight house/pet sitting: (Day 1) 7-9am; noon check in; 5-9pm. You can expect me to give Feed and fresh wate, clean up after pets(inside and outside, please provide info on where to put doggie bags after), walk, snuggle, play with as needed or desired. Stay overnight: please let me know if you do NOT want me to stay the night. The hours above will be applied here. Otherwise provide clean bedsheets. Optional: I am happy to also bring in your mail, water plants(inside and outside) and adjust lights. For my personal assessment please provide a list of those tasks as well as any other pets that may need caring for. BIO I have been a pet owner since I was a kid and have always been helping neighbors with their pets by walking their dogs for the elderly neighbors, caring for bunnies or cats and helping brush horses and moving them to pasture in my neighborhood growing up in Germany. My brother has a German Shepherd named Kai, my dad has a 3 legged chocolate lab, Bixby, and two cats, Socks and Olaf, that I frequently care for. I am familiar with small, medium, and large breeds. Dogs with behavioral issues, food aggression or dogs that require specific instructions. I am an early riser, I go to the gym and run before work. If you have a high energy dog, I am a good fit for you. I will make sure your pup is tired by the end of our visit. I will make sure your pet is safe by making sure there are no hazards and if we go for a walk I will keep your pet on a leash and protected against any threat. During the summer months, you'll often find me walking dogs along the beach or keeping cats comfortable and cool indoors! I'm available throughout the week, with the exception of Wednesdays from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM and Fridays from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM, unless otherwise noted. Please note that beginning September 3, 2026, I will no longer be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Thank you for considering me! I'd love the opportunity to care for your furry family members and make sure they receive all the love, attention, and care they deserve. In a client’s home, I make it a priority to maintain the pet’s routine as closely as possible. I ensure fresh water is always available and food is provided according to the pet’s schedule and dietary needs. I also take time to engage with the pet through play and walks. Cleanliness is very important to me, so I make sure feeding areas and any used supplies are kept clean and organized.
About: I have loved every dog I’ve ever met, no matter what they were like. My love for dogs is endless, I have owned multiple in my life and have taken care of many pets from friends and family. I’m also someone who loves to walk, no matter the weather. I would never pass up the opportunity! I would be a perfect fit for your dog 🐶!!! I am currently a college student on winter break, so my schedule is pretty open! I do have a dog of my own to take care of, but other than that I will be very likely to be able to help out you and your dog! I am not currently able to care for any pet at my own home, but I am completely able to go to your home and take care of your dog there! I am super open to whatever needs your dog may have or whatever may be happening at your home. No matter what, I’ll make sure your dog is safe and cared for!
About: Due to my current employment situation, I have lots of schedule flexibility to suit the needs of your animals. I have been caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes since I was young and have done it on a more regular basis over the past 8 years. I have grown up always having dogs and cats so I am extremely familiar with caring for animals. Even the most skeptical dogs quickly trust me for my loving nature. I am always prepared to pay full attention to any animals in my care and to respond to any challenging situations that may come up. I truly love animals and am very excited at the opportunity to help others with the care and support of their furry friends! Your pet’s day will look exactly like it does when you’re with them! I pride myself on helping dogs to keep their routines. I am happy to offer whatever enrichment activities we discuss for your pet such as car rides, dog parks, play dates etc but also understand these are not for every dog so will never do anything we didn’t explicitly clear. I am very adamant about understanding the ways you keep your pet safe at home. I am extremely cautious when coming and going. I keep an eye on all pets in yards, even when they don’t typically require this. In 15 years of dogsitting, I have only had one dog slip away from me and handled it quickly and safely.
