About: Graduated from UNH class 2014 with a Bachelors in Zoology. Proud to have over 20 years of animal care. 15 years of multi pet ownership . ---Raised and trained 8 dogs from puppy to adult. Spent 6 months volunteering at an animal shelter. Have completed Two separate 10 session dog training courses with a certified dog trainer. Have completed online Instructional courses on E-collar training and behavior modification. Have experience handling dogs with behavioral issues/quirks Have cared for pets of family and friends in addition to my own for over 15 years . My family and I currently have two dogs and a lizard, so pet care is part of our daily routine, 24/7 365. My own dogs are walked daily and stimulated through play and training. When we are home as a family, the dogs are out with us enjoying life. When we are out of the house, they are either crated or secured in a room with fresh water. Safety/Security and respecting the animals are my core values. While the animals in my home are cared for like family, they are taught to respect boundaries and work for affection. In my care, pets are leashed unless they are in a secure, fenced area. I take the time to understand each animal is an individual who has unique needs. I cater my approach to each animal based on their specific demeanor.

“Anna took great care of my 1 year old dog who is a ball of energy! 10/10 recommend great sitter and clear she is a genuine dog lover. Would 100% ask her to sit my dog again and fully vouch for anyone else to consider dropping theirs off to her! Thank you Anna!”

“Went on a five day vacation and no worries that my pup was being well cared for..loved getting updates/pictures knowing he was having a fun time.. Till the next time Rene!! Thanks again”

“This was Cosmo’s second stay at Jaime’s place, and this time it was for more than 10 days. We were completely at peace knowing he was comfortable and well cared for, especially with Luna by his side. Jaime already knew Cosmo’s routine and took care of everything so thoughtfully. We kept receiving regular updates with pictures and videos, which made us so happy. Surprisingly, Cosmo never even used his crate during the stay — a clear sign that he truly felt at home. Luna is definitely his best buddy! We had absolutely no worries knowing Cosmo was in such good hands, and we’ll surely be reaching out to Jaime for many more stays.”

“They are a great team. They cared very well for my dog and made him feel at home. They were very flexible with drop off and pick up times. Took lots a great pictures. A very pleasant and positive experience with Sarah and Ben. I’m sure I’ll use them again.”

With a fenced in yard, and we spent a lot of time running around! I’m hopeful that your dog and my dog will be best buddies during their stay with us!
“Bella took to the family immediately and looked right at home. Tracey provided lots of pictures and was quick to respond while we were away. And Bella was in great spirits when i picked her up!”

“Theresa was the perfect match for Puca. She was good on everything. Play time, exercising, letting her get enough sleep. She cared for her allergies and needed medications. Theresa will be from now on my first choice when needing someone to take care of Puca in the future.”

“Eileen is the best, she helped us out on short notice watching our dog on our wedding night and he loved her! She’s so nice and great at her job, we would definitely recommend her to everyone!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was young, helping neighbors, friends, and family with walking, feeding, and general care. Now that I work from home full-time, I’m able to provide a consistent, structured environment throughout the day. My own dog is very well-trained, friendly, and active—we go on multiple walks daily, spend time outdoors, and stay on a regular routine. I only take one client dog at a time as I want to my dog to have another dog to play with during the day. Your dog will be well taken care of. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I take one dog a day so my dog has another dog to play with during the day. I’m home during the day for supervision, walks, and attention—not just quick check-ins. My dog gets multiple walks daily, and we spend a lot of time outside, whether that’s in the neighborhood or on nearby trails and open fields. We also occasionally meet up with other friendly dogs in the neighborhood for relaxed, supervised social time. I only take one client dog at a time so I can fully integrate them into our routine and provide consistent care. I keep a clean, calm, and structured home where dogs are always supervised and treated like part of the routine. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and my dog is very friendly and well-adjusted. I’m selective about fit and only accept dogs that are well-behaved, non-aggressive, and comfortable around other dogs and my toddler. Because I only take one client dog at a time, everything stays controlled, safe, and low-stress, with plenty of attention and consistency throughout the day.
“Lokis stay at Anna’s was amazing. She treated him as if he’s was her own, and was communicative with any questions about Loki. She sent me cute photos of Loki each morning. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended :)”

“We are very happy with Shelby and her family. We really like they have two kids and they spent time with our Miso. I'm sure Miso loved to hang out with them. Thank you and we will bring Miso back to Shelby soon!”

“Erin took great care of our dog Carly! She was very kind and loving toward our dog. She sent us lots of photos which put us at ease knowing Carly was safe and happy. We would definitely have her sit for dog again!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since before I can remember. Experienced in dog sitting, walking, calming down and grooming, with a wide range of dog types, and ages. I have a very bubbly personality, and I enjoy staying active. I’m currently working part-time one to two days a week so I have a very open schedule to take dogs on daily walks or sit when they need be. I’ve cared for pets in many different ways from walking to sitting to giving medication and providing comfort when anxious or scared. My dog in particular does not do well around loud noises so needs to be comforted during those times and cared for carefully.
“Jennifer was amazing. Highly recommend hiring her to watch your pet. Communication was flawless from start to finish, and she was always incredibly quick to respond to my text updates. I loved receiving the photos she sent throughout the weekend, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She truly went above and beyond to make my dog feel at home. She spent time playing fetch—my dog's absolute favorite game—and was highly observant and adaptable when Daisy interacted with her own two dogs, ensuring all the pups felt safe and comfortable. To top it all off, she even sent my dog home with a toy she had fallen in love with during her stay. I will absolutely be booking her again!”

“Grigorii took the best care of my dog. He was communicative, friendly, and thorough in his care. My dog is timid after a recent attack and Grigorii was patient and able to get her to come out of her shell over a few days’ stay. His dog is a sweetheart too so I felt confident the pups would get along. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone and I’d be disappointed if he wasn’t available next time I need a sitter!”

“Trish was great! She made it easy and comfortable for me to leave my dog. She cared for Honey like she was her own. Honey had a great time hanging out with Ace! They will be buddies for a long time:) I loved all the daily updates and pictures. I will definitely use Trish again”

Luisa is absolutely top notch sitter. She definitely can handle dogs with care and warmth and invites them into her home with full comfort and appreciation for their personality. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
