About: I have taken care of dogs of multiple sizes and breeds from the age of 8. I have always been a natural dog lover! Although newer to cats, my experience in the field of ABA has made me patient, dependable, and attentive to behavior and routines. I follow instructions carefully and provide calm, compassionate, and individualized care, no matter the population or demographic I am working with! I am currently in my masters program for applied behavior analysis, gaining my fieldwork for ABA. I have flexible hours and often have availability periodically throughout the day! If communicated prior, I am easily able to accommodate most schedules. I communicate with the owner to ensure I understand each pet’s routine, providing feeding, walks, play, or medication all as directed, as each pet has their own individual needs! My priory is to maintain attention while keeping the clients home clean and secure.

About: I grew up on a small farm and have always loved creatures great and small. I have always had pets and have been a caregiver for friend’s dogs for years. I am now home full time and welcome the opportunity to slather love on more critters 🩷 **Please note** Beginning September 1, 2026 I will be working from 8:45AM, my teenage son (more of a dog lover than even me!) arrives home at 3:15P - if your dog cannot be on their own from 8:45-3:15 we would not be the right fit. ** In warm weather I can leave the back door open allowing dogs to come in and out as the please. I have a fenced yard and a sweet 6 year old plott hound (Mojo), many fish, an axolotl (Buggie), and a hamster (Donut). My husband and I have two boys aged 10 and 12 who love animals as much as I do.

Whether it’s a quick potty break or a longer walk, I’ll treat your pet like one of my own. I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs. Having owned multiple dogs myself and taking care of others dogs while they were away on vacation. I work freelance and have a flexible schedule so I can be there when your dog needs me to be. I can also take the time to make sure your dog is getting the attention they need while you are away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and any special needs before every visit. During walks, I always use secure leashes, avoid unsafe situations, and pay close attention to your dog’s behavior and surroundings. For drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh water, food (if needed), potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own, making sure doors are locked and everything is left just as I found it. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I grew up with dogs within my family and through friends. I watched my neighbors dogs throughout high school, as well as the dogs for the families I babysat for. I also currently have a dog of almost 4 years, so I understand the level of attention a dog may need especially in the training years. I’m currently working a full-time hybrid job, so I am home and available Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays before 8:30am, between 12:00pm and 1:00pm, and after 5:00pm. I am completely available on weekends. I will care for your pet however you would like for me to. I can provide sitting, walking and feeding services and I am flexible!

About: Hi! I'm Avery, your dog's new best friend! I am a junior in college pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, a South Shore and Boston native, and open to serving my community. I am very flexible and willing when it comes to helping you and your pets find quality care! I have seven years of experience dog sitting, experience with administering medication via pill and syringe, taking care of up to four dogs and two cats at a time for over two weeks, elder animal experience, and have been on Rover for a year and a half now. I took a break, but am happy to be back! Giving your pet the care that they deserve is my mission and many owners can attest to that. I grew up with cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and fish which gave me years of experience in animal care. I am responsible, timely, and reliable. I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon! I am a college student with flexible hours, especially Friday through Monday. I have an internship and I waitress, but my hours at the restaurant can change. My internship is 9-5 Tuesday through Thursday, but I have a two hour lunch break so I can check in, feed, and spend time with your pets. As a homebody, I have no problem staying home with your dog or cat and I will provide you with frequent check ins. Pet care is easy for me because my longest shift waitressing will be 3:30-10:30. Creating a safe and trusting environment with pets and their owners is crucial! I think that pets are like your children and that they deserve the same love, attention, effort, and respect as people. It’s important to keep them well nourished, active, and be kind to them. Animals are our friends and communicate differently, so paying attention to their needs is key. I will treat your home and pet with nothing but respect.

About: Hello! My name is Andie and I work at VCA South Shore Hospital in ER, ICU, Neurology and Internal Medicine as a technician assistant and have prior TA experience at Old Derby Animal Hospital. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I previously went to the University of Arizona for 3 years studying animal sciences and transferred my junior year to return to the East Coast. I also have some experience with a handful of farm animals from my time at the UofA. Additionally some of my experience comes from working on home farms taking care of horses and alpacas; all of this meaning my knowledge of animals is extensive to give the best care for your furry friends! I have always had the passion for animal care and medicine which is why after graduating I will be continuing my schooling to be a CVT and hopefully someday a veterinarian. A few years back I had participated in boarding through Rover, but after a hiatus I decided to come back to continue with walks and drop in visits because even outside of my main job I love to be around animals! We have a small family dog, but other than that I have rescue retired racing greyhound, Moose, who has travelled far and wide with me. My pets also include many fish, a leopard gecko, chickens and ducks! All this being said, I would absolutely love the opportunity to be alongside your best friends and scratch the itch to spend as much time with animals as I can! I am currently working full time at VCA Animal Hospital where I can do Sat, Sun and Mon anytime. I am open to doing drop ins and walks. It would really help potentially putting me in a position for veterinary school! I take care of your pets like they are my own. I think every one has their own needs and personality, there is no "one size fits all" for any animal. I try to learn your pet on an individual level!

About: I have been in the caring business since my teenage years - babysitting my younger siblings, caring for my family dog, running a summer enrichment program for at risk youth, caring for horses at a dude ranch and a western suburbs farm, minding many friends' dogs, and wrangling my own two senior dogs - brother and sister, now 14 years old. (But, so rambunctious for their first 10+ years). I love dogs and will care for your dog just as you would. One of my dogs is now blind and the other requires daily subcutaneous fluids so I am willing and able to help out with any of your pet's special needs as well..... I know how stressful it can be to ensure a routine is kept. Pet first aid and CPR certified. I am currently on a full time job hunt in marketing analytics and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can search and do freelance work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away. At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.

About: I went to Norfolk aggie for highschool, while i was there i’ve taking dog classes such as, grooming, training. I’ve taken veterinary classes, farm classes. I am currently a dog grooming for work. My family has also dog boarding and walking on rover for 10 years! i’m currently a dog groomer, my days off are wednesdays and thurdays. I can dog walk before and after work depends on the day! I will follow your instructions with your pet, send lots a pictures and videos. I will spend one on one time with them as if they were my own!

I drive a Subaru Outback with accommodations for taking large and small dogs. Whether in the house or on a leash I will provide your pet the best experience possible, and provide my own doggie bags for walks!

I am always prepared to pay full attention to any animals in my care and to respond to any challenging situations that may come up. I pride myself on helping dogs to keep their routines. I am happy to offer whatever enrichment activities we discuss for your pet such as car rides, dog parks, play dates etc but also understand these are not for every dog so will never do anything we didn’t explicitly clear. I am very adamant about understanding the ways you keep your pet safe at home. I am extremely cautious when coming and going. I keep an eye on all pets in yards, even when they don’t typically require this. In 15 years of dogsitting, I have only had one dog slip away from me and handled it quickly and safely.

About: I grew up with two German Shepherds, Duke and Thor. Eventually after Duke passed away we got Brie who was a "K9 drop out". My brother has a German Shepherd named Kai, my dad has a 3 legged chocolate lab, Bixby, and two cats, Socks and Olaf, that I frequently care for. I am familiar with small, medium, and large breeds. Dogs with behavioral issues, food aggression or dogs that require specific instructions. I am an early riser, I go to the gym and run before work. If you have a high energy dog, I am a good fit for you. I will make sure your pup is tired by the end of our visit. I will make sure your pet is safe by making sure there are no hazards and if we go for a walk I will keep your pet on a leash and protected against any threat. I have had many dogs off leash run up to myself and a clients dog and I always put myself in-between my clients dog and the others.
