About: Hi! My name is Melissa, and I’ve always had a love for animals, especially dogs. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pet. I gained hands-on experience working at Dog day care and training camp, where I learned about dog behavior, training, and proper care. My role included daily walks, reinforcing training, and caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. This experience has made me confident in providing safe, reliable, and loving care for every dog I meet. I’m going back to school and looking for a part-time job caring for dogs! have a lot of availability throughout October and will have less availability once school starts, but I’m looking to take on as much work as I can. I’m happy to work with your schedule and provide reliable care whenever I’m available. In my home, my dog gets daily walks, whether on the beach or along a trail. We also have a fenced-in yard to ensure she stays safe while outside.

About: I grew up on a small farm and have always loved creatures great and small. I have always had pets and have been a caregiver for friend’s dogs for years. I welcome the opportunity to slather love on more critters 🩷 **Please note** Beginning September 1, 2026 I will be working from 8:45AM, my teenage son (more of a dog lover than even me!) arrives home at 3:15P - if your dog cannot be on their own from 8:45-3:15 we would not be the right fit. ** In warm weather I can leave the back door open allowing dogs to come in and out as the please. I have a fenced yard and a sweet 6 year old plott hound (Mojo), many fish, an axolotl (Buggie), and a hamster (Donut). My husband and I have two boys aged 10 and 12 who love animals as much as I do.

About: I majored in animal science in high school. I was primarily working with dogs, I got to groom them and train them. I am very experienced! I currently work the weekends at an assisted living facility, but I am always free Monday-Thursday any time of the day! I have a senior dog of my own who is my best friend, and I take care of him daily. I am very flexible with times so please reach out if you need anything! Caring for pet's in my client's home will be really interesting, being able travel from house to house. I will provide comfort for the pet☺️

About: I have loved every dog I’ve ever met, no matter what they were like. My love for dogs is endless, I have owned multiple in my life and have taken care of many pets from friends and family. I’m also someone who loves to walk, no matter the weather. I would never pass up the opportunity! I would be a perfect fit for your dog 🐶!!! I am currently a college student on winter break, so my schedule is pretty open! I do have a dog of my own to take care of, but other than that I will be very likely to be able to help out you and your dog! I am not currently able to care for any pet at my own home, but I am completely able to go to your home and take care of your dog there! About: Due to my current employment situation, I have lots of schedule flexibility to suit the needs of your animals. I have been caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes since I was young and have done it on a more regular basis over the past 8 years. I have grown up always having dogs and cats so I am extremely familiar with caring for animals. Even the most skeptical dogs quickly trust me for my loving nature. I am always prepared to pay full attention to any animals in my care and to respond to any challenging situations that may come up. I truly love animals and am very excited at the opportunity to help others with the care and support of their furry friends! Your pet’s day will look exactly like it does when you’re with them! I pride myself on helping dogs to keep their routines. I am happy to offer whatever enrichment activities we discuss for your pet such as car rides, dog parks, play dates etc but also understand these are not for every dog so will never do anything we didn’t explicitly clear. I am very adamant about understanding the ways you keep your pet safe at home. I am extremely cautious when coming and going. I keep an eye on all pets in yards, even when they don’t typically require this. In 15 years of dogsitting, I have only had one dog slip away from me and handled it quickly and safely.

About: I went to Norfolk aggie for highschool, while i was there i’ve taking dog classes such as, grooming, training. I’ve taken veterinary classes, farm classes. I am currently a dog grooming for work. My family has also dog boarding and walking on rover for 10 years! i’m currently a dog groomer, my days off are wednesdays and thurdays. I can dog walk before and after work depends on the day! I will follow your instructions with your pet, send lots a pictures and videos. I will spend one on one time with them as if they were my own!

About: I been around dogs since I was 12 years old and have been dogsitting for 2 years now! I have experience with many breeds of all sizes. I would love to spend some quality time with your pup! I am very active; I love walks, hikes, and just being outside. I am up early in the morning and home most of the day. I have a large yard, and though it is not fenced in, pets will always be leashed and supervised. I have a quiet neighborhood behind my home and many parks nearby for some great walks. My favorite part of dogsitting is spending time with them, so we’ll be together pretty much 24/7!

I do 3 walks a day, depending on your dogs needs and physical limitations. I also provide mental stimulation activities to balance out their energy. About: I have been around dogs and other pets my whole life! I grew up with Rottweilers and my family currently has Bernese mountain dogs and boxers so I understand the energy that fuels these big babies. I have experience with cats along with other animals ranging from farm to reptile. I have changed dog diapers, administered medications, and have provided care from puppy to senior. My current life does not allow for a dog and I just have a lot of love to give! I’m a teacher on summer break who also does not have much of a social life. I am very flexible currently and can fit with your schedule! I’m comfortable with what you are comfortable with! I have administered meds, changed dog diapers, and understand the importance of a watchful eye (my family dog will eat poop if she could).

About: I have had dogs my entire life and they are so important to me; I have two dogs currently, one of whom is medically complex and requires several medications 3x a day to prevent seizures. I do everything I can to give my dogs the best life I can and am passionate about doing so for all of our furry friends! If I could adopt more dogs I would but my husband would divorce me! I’m therefore hoping Rover will help me make a difference for more dogs in the world while reassuring their human companions that they are in good hands! About: ***please only serious booking requests*** There have been a lot of last minute cancelations by pet owners. I am a female in her 30’s who just moved to the area and has had experience with caring for dogs and animals back near my hometown. In the past I have dog-sat my sisters 2 cockapoos for 6 or more years as she traveled for work. Through Rover I have been able to book many sittings and walks over the last 8-10 years. I have done drop ins to feed both cats and dogs and am comfortable with both. I am very respectful of the clients home and strictly follow any protocols put in place. I leave everything in the same order as it was found and make sure the animal is safe. I am currently working part-time and have some flexibility with my schedule. I just moved to the area and am open to mornings, evenings, and weekends and can do my best to work around schedules. I typically care for pets at the client's home rather than my own. My apartment building does not allow pets so I haven't been able to care for pets at my own residence.
