“Matt and Jennifer were wonderful with our 3 year old dog, Ori. This was the first time boarding our dog outside of our own home, and with anyone outside of our extended family. We were a little nervous about boarding, as our dog wasn't especially socialized with other dogs. But Matt and Jennifer were very sensitive to this, and allowed us do a day visit where we left Ori with them for a few hours. They shared regular pictures and text updates to show us that Ori was doing fine, having a good time walking and hanging with them and the other dogs they were sitting. We ended up boarding Ori with them for 8 days, and it went great. Ori became "one of the pack", doing group walks with Matt and Jennifer's dog and the other dogs they were watching. We saw that she was getting snuggles and downtime with their daughter. We picked Ori up after her stay where it was clear she had a great week, with lots of outdoor play and exercise, and nice family time indoors. Thank you Matt and Jennifer- we will happily ask you to watch Ori again for us! :)”

This allows me to see if your dog is a good fit, gives them a chance to meet the other dogs, and helps them feel comfortable and familiar before their stay. • At mealtime, I feed all dogs individually to avoid food aggression and to ensure each dog stays on their specific diet. • For dogs requiring medication, I administer it privately and carefully, to ensure it’s properly taken and to prevent any accidental exposure to other dogs. • I do not allow toys, bones, or personal beds from home during a stay. About: Hello! My name is Andie and I work at VCA South Shore Hospital in ER, ICU, Neurology and Internal Medicine as a technician assistant and have prior TA experience at Old Derby Animal Hospital. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I previously went to the University of Arizona for 3 years studying animal sciences and transferred my junior year to return to the East Coast. I also have some experience with a handful of farm animals from my time at the UofA. Additionally some of my experience comes from working on home farms taking care of horses and alpacas; all of this meaning my knowledge of animals is extensive to give the best care for your furry friends! I have always had the passion for animal care and medicine which is why after graduating I will be continuing my schooling to be a CVT and hopefully someday a veterinarian. A few years back I had participated in boarding through Rover, but after a hiatus I decided to come back to continue with walks and drop in visits because even outside of my main job I love to be around animals! We have a small family dog, but other than that I have rescue retired racing greyhound, Moose, who has travelled far and wide with me. My pets also include many fish, a leopard gecko, chickens and ducks! All this being said, I would absolutely love the opportunity to be alongside your best friends and scratch the itch to spend as much time with animals as I can! About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover who grew up begging for a dog. After college, I brought home my first dog—a golden retriever who was the center of my world. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all kinds: high-energy, troublemakers, dogs with medical needs, seniors, and everything in between. I’m comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I truly enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. After meeting my husband, we added a rescue to our household and regularly help care for and babysit dogs for family and friends. After saying goodbye to my beloved Golden, our house has felt a little empty. While we’re not ready to add another full time dog, we love welcoming an extra companion to our home for short term stays! Our own 2 small (4 lb) chihuahuas, Mocha & Lacey, are used to having other dogs around. I have lots of time to cater to your dog’s needs—whether that’s plenty of cuddles, neighborhood walks, or longer hikes—and our beagle has a calm, social temperament and has never met a dog he didn’t get along with. He even helps new dogs settle in at daycare thanks to his gentle nature. I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds and energy levels and tailor walks and activity to each dog’s needs (short, slow strolls or more active outings). At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.

Additionally some of my experience comes from working on home farms taking care of horses and alpacas; all of this meaning my knowledge of animals is extensive to give the best care for your furry friends! I have always had the passion for animal care and medicine which is why after graduating I will be continuing my schooling to be a CVT and hopefully someday a veterinarian. A few years back I had participated in boarding through Rover, but after a hiatus I decided to come back to continue with walks and drop in visits because even outside of my main job I love to be around animals! We have a small family dog, but other than that I have rescue retired racing greyhound, Moose, who has travelled far and wide with me. My pets also include many fish, a leopard gecko, chickens and ducks! All this being said, I would absolutely love the opportunity to be alongside your best friends and scratch the itch to spend as much time with animals as I can! I am currently working full time at VCA Animal Hospital where I can do Sat, Sun and Mon anytime. I am open to doing drop ins and walks. It would really help potentially putting me in a position for veterinary school! I take care of your pets like they are my own. I think every one has their own needs and personality, there is no "one size fits all" for any animal. I try to learn your pet on an individual level!

About: As an owner of a variety of pets but the most consistent being dogs, I have had a wide range of experience on how to care for and interact with pets. From ages 10-16 I had my own neighborhood dog-walking service that enabled me to deal with both small and large dogs. “Matt and Jennifer were wonderful with our 3 year old dog, Ori. This was the first time boarding our dog outside of our own home, and with anyone outside of our extended family. We were a little nervous about boarding, as our dog wasn't especially socialized with other dogs. But Matt and Jennifer were very sensitive to this, and allowed us do a day visit where we left Ori with them for a few hours. They shared regular pictures and text updates to show us that Ori was doing fine, having a good time walking and hanging with them and the other dogs they were sitting. We ended up boarding Ori with them for 8 days, and it went great. Ori became "one of the pack", doing group walks with Matt and Jennifer's dog and the other dogs they were watching. We saw that she was getting snuggles and downtime with their daughter. We picked Ori up after her stay where it was clear she had a great week, with lots of outdoor play and exercise, and nice family time indoors. Thank you Matt and Jennifer- we will happily ask you to watch Ori again for us! :)”
