About: I have been in the caring business since my teenage years - babysitting my younger siblings, caring for my family dog, running a summer enrichment program for at risk youth, caring for horses at a dude ranch and a western suburbs farm, minding many friends' dogs, and wrangling my own two senior dogs - brother and sister, now 14 years old. (But, so rambunctious for their first 10+ years). I love dogs and will care for your dog just as you would. One of my dogs is now blind and the other requires daily subcutaneous fluids so I am willing and able to help out with any of your pet's special needs as well..... I am currently on a full time job hunt in marketing analytics and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can search and do freelance work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). About: For the past five years I have been consistently taking care of family friends pets. I have been a reliable pet sitter when the family goes on vacation or is away for periods of time. My childhood dog made it to 17, and taught me a lot about handling senior animals. My wife and I currently have a 3 year old Shiba named Mikki. We are less than 5 minutes from the Quarry St dog park in Quincy, and frequently bring pups for meets/ playtime. If your dog requires any special attention, please let us know. With a large open living space, dogs gets the freedom to run around and play. They are only crated for timeouts or bedtime if that's how they generally sleep. Everyone is separated for drinking and feeding time. We follow your schedule as much as possible so they can adjust as easily as possible. Dogs have free roam of the house, and are let out to play and do business every 1-2 hours for as long as they want in our backyard. Our yard is fully fenced in, with a lot of open space and toys for everyone to play. We are always keeping an eye on them, and they are never left alone outside.
