About: I have taken care of friends and family members dogs for years. Whether it be for a week or just a short walk, I’m always up for a jaunt with a friendly animal! However, with shorter notice, it is less likely that I will be available. In the client's house, I’m going to use caution when meeting their animal (I am in their space and need to make a positive first impression). Even if they are known to be pleasant, I will still take my time getting to know them. This allows me to earn an animal's trust while ensuring that I am aware of their behavioral cues and handling preferences. I also have some experience with a handful of farm animals from my time at the UofA.
