About: I have taken care of friends and family members dogs for years. Whether it be for a week or just a short walk, I’m always up for a jaunt with a friendly animal! However, with shorter notice, it is less likely that I will be available. In the client's house, I’m going to use caution when meeting their animal (I am in their space and need to make a positive first impression). Even if they are known to be pleasant, I will still take my time getting to know them. This allows me to earn an animal's trust while ensuring that I am aware of their behavioral cues and handling preferences. About: I have been in the caring business since my teenage years - babysitting my younger siblings, caring for my family dog, running a summer enrichment program for at risk youth, caring for horses at a dude ranch and a western suburbs farm, minding many friends' dogs, and wrangling my own two senior dogs - brother and sister, now 14 years old. (But, so rambunctious for their first 10+ years). I love dogs and will care for your dog just as you would. One of my dogs is now blind and the other requires daily subcutaneous fluids so I am willing and able to help out with any of your pet's special needs as well..... I know how stressful it can be to ensure a routine is kept. Pet first aid and CPR certified. I am currently on a full time job hunt in marketing analytics and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can search and do freelance work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away. At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.

About: I’ve been around animals all my life and am comfortable with all kinds, big and small. Ive dog and cat sat for friends before and enjoy spending time with the animals. I currently work at a dog daycare and spend 5 days a week with the dogs. I am a college student who commutes and has class two days a week. My availability is very open and am willing to pick up last minute visits or walks. I will pay close attention to your pet during walks or visits and spend time with them/give them space if that is what would make them most comfortable.

“Brian and Shawnie are the best! Very experienced dog owners that are super reliable and trust worthy, by far the best dog boarding experience we’ve ever had. We have a very big mastiff (170 lbs) who is a giant baby so he’s tough to find the right environment for but we had zero concerns after meeting Brian and his wife. Vinny was extremely well taken care of and loved while we were away to the point that we could actually enjoy our vacation and not feel guilty or bad about leaving our baby behind! Brian went above and beyond to make sure Vinny was nice and cool on a hot day, took him for walks (which we’ve never even experienced before as everyone else is afraid to walk such a big dog), and played with him whenever he wanted. We received many updates, pictures, and videos and had total peace of mind. I highly recommend Brian’s care and will 100% be returning for all trips moving forward.”
