About: I’m a devoted dog lover and stay-at-home pet caregiver with a friendly, nearly 5-year-old beagle who adores canine company. I have lots of time to cater to your dog’s needs—whether that’s plenty of cuddles, neighborhood walks, or longer hikes—and our beagle has a calm, social temperament and has never met a dog he didn’t get along with. He even helps new dogs settle in at daycare thanks to his gentle nature. I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds and energy levels and tailor walks and activity to each dog’s needs (short, slow strolls or more active outings). About: We have a large, very clean, and safe home with a big backyard. There are plenty of trails and sidewalks for walking around our house as well as a variety of parks nearby we can visit. I stay at home and will be available all day to supervise care for your dog(s). My three teenage kids will help provide care and are very responsible, loving, and diligent caretakers. About: For the past five years I have been consistently taking care of family friends pets. I have been a reliable pet sitter when the family goes on vacation or is away for periods of time. About: I have been in the caring business since my teenage years - babysitting my younger siblings, caring for my family dog, running a summer enrichment program for at risk youth, caring for horses at a dude ranch and a western suburbs farm, minding many friends' dogs, and wrangling my own two senior dogs - brother and sister, now 14 years old. (But, so rambunctious for their first 10+ years). I love dogs and will care for your dog just as you would. One of my dogs is now blind and the other requires daily subcutaneous fluids so I am willing and able to help out with any of your pet's special needs as well..... I am currently on a full time job hunt in marketing analytics and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can search and do freelance work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away. At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.

In addition, I majored in animal science in high school and am currently pursuing courses in animal behavior and zoology in college. However, with shorter notice, it is less likely that I will be available. In the client's house, I’m going to use caution when meeting their animal (I am in their space and need to make a positive first impression). “Brian and Shawnie are the best! Very experienced dog owners that are super reliable and trust worthy, by far the best dog boarding experience we’ve ever had. We have a very big mastiff (170 lbs) who is a giant baby so he’s tough to find the right environment for but we had zero concerns after meeting Brian and his wife. Vinny was extremely well taken care of and loved while we were away to the point that we could actually enjoy our vacation and not feel guilty or bad about leaving our baby behind! Brian went above and beyond to make sure Vinny was nice and cool on a hot day, took him for walks (which we’ve never even experienced before as everyone else is afraid to walk such a big dog), and played with him whenever he wanted. We received many updates, pictures, and videos and had total peace of mind. I highly recommend Brian’s care and will 100% be returning for all trips moving forward.”
