About: I work from home so — since I pet sit friends’ pets — I’m trying out Rover. Building my profile so services are discounted to encourage clients — not because I lack experience. I really really really really REALLY love both dogs (had 2 previously, 1 toy poodle now) and cats (2 now). I’ve been a pet owner for most of my life, and am the go-to sitter for friends and family. I don’t see dogs or cats just as ‘pets’, but as *family members* and so treating them that way when they’re in my care comes naturally to me. My partner and I don’t just “board”, we play, snuggle, and care for them like they’re my own. Every pet is different and I in particular find myself enthralled by the adventure of getting to know them—so if possible I’d prefer repeats so we build a relationship over time. (In a way I feel like I’d be getting more out of this than feels fair given how much I love animals—and my partner will thank you for making it so that I’m able to resist the urge to adopt more pets!). Pick me—you can trust that I’ll make sure your pet is fed, exercised, doted on, and, as much as I can, “at home”, while you’re at work, away, or simply need a break. Because this will be as much for me as it will be for them. I'm on sabbatical. Save managing my passion projects and cooking healthy meals, I'm free to play with my puppy and your pet all day! :) I have a pretty large home - 3 floors, lots of room. I have a lovely backyard, there's a mix of grass, gravel, parking lot (and neighbors). I also have lots of treats and toys.

About: I have taken care of all types and sizes of dogs since I was very young. I grew up with a springer spaniel who was very energetic and enjoyed long walks and runs. I have experience taking care of old dogs with lots of medications and assistance needed (carrying up/down stairs, etc.). I look forward to helping out with your pup! I work full-time Monday–Friday, but my schedule is flexible. I’m only in the office two days a week, and those days can vary, which allows me plenty of availability for pet care. I’m available both during the week and on weekends and am happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs! My apartment is pet friendly and I have furniture that pets can sit on. I live right next to the esplanade which is great for walks!

Meg was so amazing caring for my cat Dumpling!! I was in between apartments moving from NYC to Boston over Labor Day weekend, and I am so thankful to have found Meg to house Dumpling for a few weeks.
