About: I was born into a home with cats, therefore I have 47 years of experience being in their presence. For all of my adult life, I have had my own cats and have helped others take care of theirs by feeding, playing, scooping the litter and taking them out for walks on a kitty-leash. About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was an early teen. The first dog I ever walked was a golden retriever named Buddy who dragged me down the longest driveway I’ve ever seen. I quickly learned how to make sure that didn’t happen (a good hold on the leash and a treat or two) and we became best pals. Since then I’ve dog sat for friends consistently. I’ve watched dogs of all ages and sizes. I have experience caring for senior dogs (my own just passed at 16). I can administer medication if necessary. I’ve been a dog lover my whole life and truly miss having my own now. I am excited for the opportunity to care for your pups! I’m currently working from home most days and manage my own schedule. About: As dedicated pet owners, for the past two years, my partner, and I have cared for our two beloved cats, Sylvia, and Meatball, and our playful puppy, Saturn, a pitbull boxer mix who loves making new furry friends. We are at adult only home with everything that you may need including bowls, toys, and a crate. We will follow all instructions to T and make sure that, your fur baby is in loving and capable hands. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays so if needed for a day or for any other services, including walking, I would be available. My partner and I like to stick to a routine for all of our pets And in the care of another fur baby we would ideally like to stick to the same routine that we implemented in our home. In terms of behavior, we are willing to help pets with basic commands, while, watching out for any unusual signs of the pets behavior and notifying the parent ahead of time just ensure that everyone is on the same page. When going outside for exercise, we will ensure that your dog is in a close space unless you stay otherwise just for safety and security.

About: I have always loved taking care of animals since I was young- from dogs, cats, chickens, and fish I have always been surrounded by animals. I have a particular interest in animal behavior and training- I always want to ensure animals feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed when they are in my care. Before moving to Boston, I attended Colorado State University seeking my degree in veterinary medicine- the classes I attended focused on animal behavior, animal environment, and specifically handling large animals such as cattle. During my time there, I acquired my IACUC training for animal handling (can provide if needed, however it technically expired last year) and successfully performed medication administration, vaccine/medication injections, bovine castration, proper animal handling, and more. Unfortunately due to a family emergency I could not finish my degree, however I am looking to complete my animal training certification, as I still love working with animals! While I, myself, do not currently have any pets, my roommate has a cat that I help care for- his name is Boog and he's incredibly cute! I currently work part time Saturday-Monday mornings- after 3pm I am completely free! If your pets can be left alone for about 8-9 hours (travel time depending), I can house sit on these days while working. The rest of the week, I spend time on my hobbies and doing research on animal behavior, meaning I will have plenty of time for walks, playtime, cuddles, and whatever else your pet may desire. I like to set up a trial run before any official appointment just to make sure your animal is comfortable with me and vice versa! This gives a great time where your animal has a familiar person (you!) to reassure them that I (a stranger) am no threat, as well as going over care instructions, any medical concerns, and your typical routine for your pet(s).

On top of that, they were wonderfully flexible and gracious when we ran late, never making us feel rushed or guilty. That kind of warmth and understanding goes a long way.
