“Sunny gave us the best wedding gift of all: peace of mind while we were away for a week! We were unable to bring our beloved pup to our venue, but she was well loved during our time away. We received routine photo updates and messages, and could tell that Pep was right at home with Sunny and Eric. They are the best!!”

“Hunter had a great overnight stay with John. John took him on several walks and made sure he was fed and comfortable. Our dog sometimes gets anxious and John knew how to calm him. John gave us regular updates and photos. We appreciated the reporting for Hunter's very first overnight with him. TY John!”

“Jodi was great with Champ! She made him feel right at home and treated him like part of the family. Champ had dog friends to play with, went on walks, and got plenty of attention. It was clear he was happy and comfortable the entire time. Champ usually has a hard time staying with others, but Jodi made the experience easy and stress-free for him. I really appreciated the care and patience she showed. I will definitely be using Jodi again for my future travel plans. Highly recommend!”

“Erin was the best! She was flexible and great with communicating. She even updated me with cute pictures and videos everyday. My dog Bash had a great time, I’d definitely recommend!”

“Tyler was amazing with my Lobo and Tango! He was a great communicator and I was ever grateful for the flexibility as my travel plans change unexpectedly a few times while I was away. I could tell they were truly cared for and a spoiled just as much (if not more) than would have been with me! Highly recommend and will be trying Tyler again for my next dog care needs”

“Ruya and Berg are a great pair of dog sitters, our pup is always so comfortable in their home. Friendly, good people that love dogs. I would highly recommend.”

“Cody was a fantastic sitter for our pup while we were away for a long weekend. She provided great daily updates and was incredibly kind, flexible, and communicative when our pup experienced some separation + thunderstorm anxiety during his visit and when we experienced flight delays on our return trip home. We will definitely re-book with Cody in the future!”

“Ivis was fantastic! Ivis and her family gave our dog Pepper so much love and attention while we were away. She sent us updates and photos and dropped Pepper off for us! Will definitely use her services again!”

“Lee and family were amazing with our dog! Great communication and he was very comfortable with them. We already have our next stay scheduled! Highly recommend. Thanks for taking such good care of him!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog owner with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of breeds, from energetic puppies to quirky seniors. I work from home, so I’m able to offer tons of attention, exercise, and consistency throughout the day. Having lived with everything from labs to Pyrenees mixes, I understand the importance of meeting each dog’s unique needs, whether that’s structured walks, gentle senior care, or patient socialization for shy pups. I’m comfortable with big dogs and independent personalities, and my own experience training puppies and supporting older dogs means your pup is in caring, knowledgeable hands. What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for a variety of breeds—including puppies and seniors—and my work-from-home flexibility means dogs get real companionship and attention all day. I understand big, independent, and quirky personalities, and I prioritize individualized care, from puppy training to gentle support for older dogs. I take the time to get to know every dog, building trust through patience, routine, and play. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life, not an afterthought. Since I work from home, I’m able to integrate walks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day—whether it’s a morning stroll, afternoon games in the park, or relaxed evenings together. My routine is flexible, so dogs always get outside for fresh air and exercise and receive plenty of attention between my work sessions. On weekends, I love exploring new neighborhoods, local parks, or heading to the beach—always bringing dogs along for new adventures. Whether it’s active pups needing stimulation or seniors who prefer a calm presence, I adapt my days to make sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and part of my everyday world. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and integrated into my daily routine—regular walks to nearby parks or the beach, supervised playtime, and cozy rest spots throughout my home. I keep to each dog’s familiar schedule as much as possible, including feeding times, exercise, and any training or medication routines. In a client’s home, I respect their space and routines, making sure pets feel secure in their own environment. I follow all instructions closely, from special diet needs to unique quirks or favorite toys, and keep in touch with updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and cared for. Most importantly, I treat every dog like they’re my own—with patience, structure, and genuine affection—whether they’re here for a day, a weekend, or longer.
“We feel so lucky and grateful to have met Jamie and her family. Our dog Jaxon had the best time and we never had to worry about him. While we were busy moving our college student, Jamie and her family made it so easy for us to focus on that, knowing Jaxon was cared for and happy.”

About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs my whole life! I have four dogs at home in Wisconsin (golden retriever, black lab, and two German shepherds!). I miss them a whole bunch and would love the opportunity to hang out and take care of any dogs! As a recent college graduate, I currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight stays throughout most weekdays and weekends. I love spending time with dogs and can provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship while you’re away. I’m also happy to accommodate your pet’s specific routine whenever possible. I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines. I prioritize safety, clear communication, and following owner instructions carefully. I’ll treat your pet like my own, providing a safe, loving environment with plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away.

“Tanishi cared for our Pomeranian dog for five days and did an excellent job. We got updates and pictures of our dog. We’ll definitely hire her again for dog boarding or sitting whenever we travel far.”

“Alan and Ying were great! They took excellent care of Nori, and we had regular updates. Nori loves playing with their dogs and from updates, she had a ton of fun.”

About: I have extensive experience caring for cats from kittens to seniors, including administering oral medications. This includes my own cats and also family/friend cats. I have my own rescue pit mix dog who has needed some patience to build her confidence and I’m proud of the work we’ve done together in the 1+ years together. I’ve also worked as a kennel assistant handling meal times, medication, day cares, walks, and clean up. I have always loved pets, from hamsters up to big 100 lbs dogs. I will treat your baby with love and respect and understanding of their needs. I share pet care duties with my Fiance John who grew up with dogs and cats in his household and takes care of our two cats and rescue dog with me. We both work full time but I only work 4 days a week and John works 5 days but leaves later and gets home earlier than me. I handle the morning chores including pet meals and Phoebe’s first walk of the day. John handles the second walk of the day when he gets home from work and the second mealtime then. Night time, Phoebe always gets a walk before bed and cats get their last meal. On weekends and free days off together (I always have a 3 day weekend) Phoebe usually gets a trip out to a park, trail, or beach where she can either roam and get her running in. Phoebe gets playdates often with her dog besties who live nearby. Phoebe is crate trained and we have an extra crate on hand too as needed. Currently Phoebe and the cats roam free together when we’re at work because they’re trustworthy now but if a guest comes, we can separate rooms easily and use crates. In other clients homes, I will always follow the rules of the house. Dogs and cats alike will get lots of enrichment, walks, and playtime so everyone is satisfied and comfortable.

About: My family has taken care of dogs my entire life. We’re constantly taking in and fostering dogs that don’t have another place to go. Sometimes we bonded especially well with them and decided to adopt them as our own ❤️. Now I’m living away from my family and missing the love and energy I got from having the pups around. I’m currently working hybrid from work with q very flexible schedule so I have the ability to keep the dogs company and walk them outside during the day. My roommate and I previously fostered a dog in our first-floor apartment close-by to the esplanade. Living a hundred feet from the park has been so convenient to let the dogs play and walk around.
“Shuping is one of the best “nanas” Cookie has ever had, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found her through Rover. From the moment Cookie stayed with her, it was clear how much warmth, kindness, and genuine love she gives to the pets in her care. She treated Cookie as if she were her own, and that gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. One of our favorite things was receiving her sweet updates. She would send us adorable photos and videos and share little stories about Cookie’s day. The way she affectionately referred to Cookie as a “little rascal” always made us smile and showed just how much she cared for her. As pet parents, being away from your beloved pet can be difficult. Finding someone who loves, cares for, and cherishes your pet almost as much as you do is truly a blessing. That’s exactly what we found in Shuping. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, responsible, and attentive caregiver for their pet. She is warm, kind, thoughtful, and genuinely wonderful. We would happily trust Cookie with her again anytime.”

“Betsy and her family were wonderful hosts for our pup. Betsy sent pics and videos, and Ronja seemed to have a fantastic time. Great communication, we felt safe leaving our dog in Betsy's care.”

“Kaisa was AMAZING! She took fantastic care of our dog and sent us incredible photos (one of which we think we’ll frame). She was incredibly communicative and friendly. We’d definitely ask her to sit again!”

Lailoo was so great with our 2 year old puppy Harry. It was so nice getting updates throughout the day along with pictures to see what they were up to and how he was doing with her. Bathroom and feeding updates were great for us too so we know his state when we get home! She played with him and walked him and made sure he was hydrated in this heat wave! I completely trust her with any future dog sits!

We couldn’t be more pleased with the care Michelle and her son extended to Clare. Michelle exuded confidence right off the bat as a pet lover. And when our flight was delayed, she was non-pulsed when we needed her to keep Clare for an extra, unplanned overnight. We look forward to calling on Michelle again!

Lauren has watched our sweet but needy and anxious pup several times. She is always very responsive and accommodating. She takes great care of her so much so we don’t worry a bit while away, even when gone for a long weekend. We’re moving to the other side of town and actually considering traveling to keep Lauren as a sitter. 5 stars!

My dog loved staying with Gina. He usually has a difficult time being separated from us, but she made him feel comfortable and secure from the very beginning. He seemed completely at home in her care, which made the transition remarkably easy for both him and our family. Gina is clearly very experienced with dogs, and she took exceptional care of Parker. We felt confident knowing he was in such capable and caring hands.
