I work from home part-time and my husband works from home all the time. I love having pups accompany me on whatever chores and adventures I have on the weekend, whether that's walking to the library to drop off books, going for a hike in the Fells or at the beach, or hanging out at a beer garden with my sister.

My absolute favorite breed is golden retriever, but I've also sat for corgis, whippets, chihuahuas, boxers and everything in between. I live in an apartment building, so don't take dogs who are big barkers. I'm a fan of snugglers, but also cool with dogs that need some space and time to build trust.
A typical day
We're surrounded by great parks! Southwest Corridor, Franklin Park, the Arboretum, and Jamaica Pond are all a short ways away and great places to explore, go for a run and get some fresh air and smells.

I've been on Rover for a few years and my husband and I are loving it! We've met some amazing furiends. Cats, dogs and even some bearded dragons and snakes! People say they love our pictures, reliable communication before and during stays and walks, and our skill at making pets feel comfortable. Chris shares the work and the walks with me, so that's double the hands for petting! I'm an experienced NYC dog walker that built my business just on word of mouth. I grew up with golden retrievers, but these days love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I don't have a dog myself, and Rover sitting has filled the dog-sized hole in my heart I didn't even know existed. It's changed my life and I absolutely love it. If your dog needs exercise, I'm a runner and would love them to join me on a jog around Jamaica Pond. We only take clients within a mile of our home in the middle of JP and we're able to pick up your pup within 5 miles for a fee.

Highly recommend Megan! She made the whole process so seamless: scheduling and coordinating with her was an absolute breeze. She was super communicative the entire time and kept my mind at ease with tons of cute picture updates. Will definitely book with her again!!!
Megan communicated promptly and was flexible in allowing us to schedule on short notice. Cats both seemed to have loved playing with her, even our more skittish cat.
Megan is great, she seems to genuinely enjoy walks with our pup and always sends great pictures as well :)
