“Alyson was amaze balls. I got daily updates she alerted me to anything she deemed out of the ordinary with Tuna. He loves Alyson and her Daughter! Would recommend wholeheartedly”

“The dogs RAN up and into Casey's place wagging when drop off, and came out happy, even more spoiled, shinier and somehow smelling nicer?! when picked up. 😆 This is our 52774th time boarding with Casey and we cannot thank her and recommend her to others enough. Casey is extremely thoughtful and attentive to details, and even has now built with our dogs their own routine that put the dogs at ease and peace. Thank you thank you thank you.”

“Great sitter, had my dog for 8 days and he was well taken care of and because of her work he got to hang out with lots of other dogs all day! He had a blast! 10/10 would recommend.”

“Paula was wonderful about my very high energy pup Olive. It was great getting photos of Olive swimming, running around with other dogs, and really living it up while staying with Paula. We can tell she LOVED her stay and felt very comfortable there. Thanks, Paula! Hope Olive can come stay again one day.”
“Dana and Nia are truly exceptional pet sitters — caring, understanding, and the kind of people who instantly put you at ease about leaving your furry family member in their hands. Our dog Kippy can be quite a handful. He has a nervous temperament and takes time to warm up to new people, but Dana and Nia were incredibly patient. They took the time to really get to know him, and it showed — Kippy was visibly comfortable and at ease with them, which honestly says everything. On top of that, they were wonderfully flexible and gracious when we ran late, never making us feel rushed or guilty. That kind of warmth and understanding goes a long way. If you’re looking for pet sitters who will treat your little loved ones like their own, look no further. We couldn’t recommend Dana and Nia more highly!”

“Eric lived up to his very positive reviews: sensitive to our (very few) concerns, sending daily updates and photos, easy to communicate with--in short, everything one would hope for. His dog Snickers was an extra bonus.”

About: I’m a proud dog parent to my 4-year-old dog, Simba, so I have firsthand experience with the daily care, attention, and love that dogs need. Caring for Simba has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, regular walks, playtime, feeding routines, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’ll care for your pet with the same love, attention, and responsibility that I give Simba. 🐾❤️ I stay at home mom so I can give full attention, follow routines and take out for walks. we also have a yard where dogs can play I have a fenced yard, and a friendly goldendoodle who can give your dog company. My goal is to help every pet feel happy, relaxed, and cared for while their family is away.
“I can’t say enough good things about Julie! She took care of my two dogs for a week while I was away for work, and she was absolutely wonderful. She sent me photos and videos every day, keeping me updated on how my pups were doing, which really put my mind at ease. It was clear they were happy, relaxed, and getting lots of love and attention. My dogs are like my children, and I felt completely confident leaving them in her care. I came home to two very content pups and a clean, well-cared-for home. I would 100% trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring person to take care of their pups! Thank you Julie!”

““Excellent”experience with Su. He gave daily updates with photos. Really cared about Koda and reached out when things came out. Highly recommended him to family and friends. Definitely use him again !! Thanks for taking good care of our dog.”

“Ling & Ye took great care of our pup, Truffles for a weeklong boarding. Communication was great and we kept receiving updates. Truffles had a great time staying with the family and made some new friends.”

“I can't even count the number of times we left Marvel with Jing! Jing truly loves our dog and treats her as her own. It is such a comfort to have Jing as our go-to dog sitter - we wholeheartedly recommend!”

“Alan and Ying took wonderful care of Ripley during his four-night stay. They were very thoughtful in their approach to make him feel comfortable and at home. Alan and Ying provided a lot of communication, including some great videos. They were especially flexible about timing for pick-up which helped to ensure that my kids could see Ripley before they (the kids) went to bed when we got home from our trip. We really enjoyed working with Alan and Ying.”

“Alec and Damien were fantastic with my dog, Winston. They were very responsive and kept me updated with photos, which made me feel at ease. Winston looked completely comfortable and happy in their care—they truly treated him like their own. When I picked him up, he didn’t even want to leave, which says everything. I’ll definitely be booking with them again!”

“Natalie was absolutely amazing with Leo and Nala! From the very beginning, she was so intentional during our meet and greet and took the time to really get to know both of them, their personalities, and what they needed before we even handed them over to her. That meant so much to us and made us feel completely comfortable leaving them in her care. Throughout their stay, Natalie sent plenty of updates and kept me in the loop, which gave us so much peace of mind. It’s very clear that she genuinely cares about the dogs she takes care of, and she is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. We truly have nothing but great things to say about Natalie. Leo and Nala were so well cared for, and we wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch them again. We will absolutely be rebooking with her!”

“Arianna is awesome. She is very caring and very reliable. She took great care of Leo who is in need of medications for his arthritis. Arianna exceeded my expectations!”

“Yasmine took care of my dog according to my request. She sent me pictures and a see-promoter for any of my communications. I would definitely use her services again.”

“We had an absolutely amazing experience with our dog sitter and couldn’t recommend them more highly. This was our first time being away from Howie, and naturally we were a little nervous—but they made the entire experience so reassuring from start to finish. While we were away, our return flight ended up getting canceled multiple times, leaving us stranded for an additional three days. What could have been an incredibly stressful situation was made so much easier because they immediately stepped in without hesitation and continued caring for Howie like he was their own. They consistently reassured us that he was safe, happy, and well cared for until we could finally make it home. On top of that, we received dozens of pictures and videos throughout our trip, which truly meant so much—especially as first-time dog parents leaving him behind. Seeing Howie relaxed, playing, and clearly loved gave us total peace of mind. It’s rare to find someone you can trust so completely with your dog, but we absolutely did here. We are beyond grateful and will 100% be using them again.”

“Nalix communicated well and sent daily pictures and videos while watching my pup. He seemed to enjoy himself and he was able to make a couple of new friends.”

“Lindsay took such great care of my cat Naomi! She came over to meet me and my cats before hand and even went out of her way to pick up the keys from me before we left. Boning was extremely responsive and always showed up when she said she was going to. Took excellent care of both of my cats and always sent a variety of photos everyday. I would highly recommend her and will be booking with her again in the future!”

“Jenie was an awesome sitter for my 2 cats! Very communicative, organized, and punctual. Provided photos during visits and reported on cats behavior during the visits. I'll definitely be using again!”

“Mike did a great job doting on our very neurotic cat. He managed to slip a pill into her food every morning, and stayed around for a bit so she could get a "second breakfast" afterwards. He even got to pet her occasionally, something only a very select few can say! Fountains were kept filled, cat box was clean, and bowls weren't overflowing with stale, dried up food. Definitely recommend!”

“This was my first time using Rover, and I had a great experience. I was away from my cat for four days and was quite worried at first, but I soon felt relieved knowing she was in such good hands. He took great care of her, kept me updated, and made me feel comfortable while I was away. My cat warmed up to him very quickly and clearly enjoyed spending time with him, which meant a lot to me. I really appreciate the care and attention he gave her, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“It was great to have TJ looking after our cats. He was very communicative and prompt, we felt like they were in great hands while on our trip. He was patient with one of cats that can be a little skittish and he was great with our older cat that needs a little more attention. We will definitely use TJ again and recommend him.”

“Sarah was attentive to my cats needs and sent me photos everyday. I really appreciated the piece of mind she gave me knowing that my cat was well taken care of during my trip.”
“Sean is a great human and a great carer. My dog is incredibly picky and always right. She will decide at the door, on the first sniff, if she is ok with someone or now, and she immediately took to Sean. He tracks their walking route and sends me the cutest update pictures. He has also been so flexible with my dogs recent surgeries. He walks my dog daily and it is the highlight of her day!”

“Absolutely Amazing! Tanya took care of our cat while we went to Spain for Christmas and New Years. She is extremely responsible, trust-worthy and really good at communicating! She even took out our trash for us! Would totally recommend to anyone. Thank you, Tanya✨?️”

“Jordan continues to be the best cat sitter we could hope for when it comes to caring for our spicy 🐈⬛ boy. She knows which behavior to ignore and is unfazed by his angry meows or anxious hisses. By the end of the visit, he is welcoming of pets and rubs from her - not an easy accomplishment!”

“Dan is *exactly* the type of person I wanted to take care of my dog. It was evident within about 7 seconds of meeting them that they were warm, trustworthy, and genuine. Dan asked me all the right questions and made me feel like I was leaving my dog with someone I had known for years. That is a rare thing.”

“Thank you so much Jasmine ! She took such phenomenal care of my cat , stayed the whole time to play with him , cleaned the litter box and went above and beyond . So trustworthy . Thank you again .”

“Ann Marie was an amazing sitter!! She took wonderful care of my cats while I was away for two weeks. My cats were very happy and healthy when I returned to them. I received daily updates and pictures which was very reassuring. I feel very fortunate to have found Ann Marie and will definitely use her again in the future.”

About: Since I was 10 years old, neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their dog(s). I've stayed overnight at their houses to provide the requested care as well as visits during the day. Additionally I’ve hosted pet(s) overnight. Currently I am working part-time and step out for about 4 hours for my shift then return home to study. My fiancé and I live together in our apartment and he helps provide pet care. Our weekends are typically open with an occasional event. I am an active person. I enjoy running, hiking, and long walks to release energy, especially with a canine campion. I've also brought dogs to local dog parks. I enjoy playing with dogs and even lounging at the house with them. At my apartment, the shared backyard has a fence and an outdoor lead as well.
“Wanda was very responsive and able to accomidate my dog at the last minute. She did a great job taking care of my pup for the day and I'd definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a good sitter.”

“Jess is absolutely great . She was able to accommodate to our last-minute request for daycare for our dog Bruno and was very understanding of our dog’s needs. She kept sending pictures and updates which gave us piece of mind during these times when our dog needs to be monitored. We’re looking forward for Bruno’s next boarding stay with Jess.”

About: 🏡 Calm, home-away-from-home boarding 🐕 Pet-free household 🌳 Private fenced yard ❤️ Experienced with rescues & anxious dogs 📸 Frequent updates 👩 Home throughout the day 📝 Detailed meet-and-greet/intake process I may be new to Rover but I’m not new to caring for your dog. As a lifelong pet owner, animal lover and proud rescue dog mom, I know that every dog has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. I raised my two rescue Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull mixes from the shelter, giving me hands-on experience with training, structure, and positive reinforcement. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I adapt my care to match both their personality and the routine you’ve established, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your dog’s stay will include plenty of one-on-one attention, walks to the nearby park, playtime in my fully fenced backyard, and lots of affection (including couch cuddles if they’re allowed!). I also believe communication is key, so you can expect regular photo and video updates throughout the day for complete peace of mind. My goal is simple: to become someone you can trust wholeheartedly with your best friend. I want you to leave knowing your dog is being cared for with the same love, patience, and attention that you would give them yourself. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. My flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent attention throughout the day, whether that’s morning walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, or simply keeping your dog company. I enjoy being active, so regular walks and outdoor time are already part of my day. Whether your pet needs a quick walk, overnight care, or an extended stay, I’ll make sure they receive the time, attention, and care they deserve—not just the basics, but plenty of love and companionship too. Every pet is unique, so I tailor my care to match their personality, energy level, and the routine you’ve already established. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, I prioritize safety, consistency, and lots of love and attention. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions (if needed), and any training cues you use so your dog experiences as little disruption as possible. In my home, dogs enjoy a calm, pet-free environment with plenty of one-on-one attention, a fully fenced backyard for supervised play, walks to the nearby park, and cozy places to relax. If your dog is allowed on furniture, they’re welcome to cuddle up on the couch with me. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat your space with the same respect I would my own. I’ll keep your home tidy, can provide regular updates with photos and videos, and make sure your dog feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. My goal is for you to return home to a happy dog and complete peace of mind

They also made me feel comfortable by sending pictures throughout the day to reassure me that she was having a great day. I will definitely hire them again!”

“Debbie went above and beyond for us. She spent plenty of time acclimating our 4 mo puppy to her home and dogs for his first daycare session. We received pics and updates during his stay. Our dog had a great supervised socialization session with Debbie and other dogs, and had a chance to gain confidence in staying with others. Will definitely use her as a sitter again!”

About: As a new pet sitter on Rover, what sets me apart from others is the genuine love and lifelong connection I have with animals. Growing up in the Philippines, I had the privilege of taking care of three dogs and two cats from a young age, instilling in me a deep appreciation for the unique needs and personalities of each pet. Additionally, my two years of experience nurturing my own cat, Tippy here in the US, has honed my skills in understanding and catering to pets' emotional and physical well-being. I was able to teach him some tricks too like sit, stand, stay, and go before he dug to his food, jump, and down. I am committed to providing a loving and nurturing environment for pets in my care, ensuring they feel secure and cherished while their owners are away. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, and I am committed to providing the best care for your furry companions like they are my own. Currently, I am taking online classes which allows me to dedicate my time and attention to your pets daily. With this schedule, I can offer three visits per day to ensure that your pets receive the care, love, and attention they need. Whether it's feeding, playtime, walks, or just some quality companionship, I am here to make sure your pets are happy and well-cared for throughout the day. In my home, my pet enjoys a safe, cozy environment with all the essentials, including free spaces to walk around, food, water, and toys. I stick to his routines, offering regular meals, clean water, exercise, and a pet-friendly atmosphere. When caring for pets in a future client's own home, I prioritize routine consistency and safety. I follow specific instructions, feeding schedules, and engage in interactive play, walks, or cuddle time for their well-being. I'm adaptable, ensuring each pet's unique needs are met with love and attention.

About: You like it, I love it. You name it (dogs, cats, horses, hamsters), I watch it. Book with me and I’ll take great care of your furry friends :) I’m pretty flexible timing wise so forming my schedule around your pet’s should be easy. Just let me know what a typical day looks like for them and we can go from there. Be sure to communicate with me what your pet’s requirements are in regards to walks, potty breaks, medications, etc. I’d also like to know what your pet’s temperament/social behavior is like. This is so I can know how to conduct myself around them or in the presence of other pets, like on a walk for example.
About: What makes me different is that caring for animals has been a big part of my life for years. I’m currently in college studying animal care, and I also worked at a zoo for 3 years, so I’ve had hands-on experience caring for and working around animals. I’ve cared for all kinds of pets, including puppies, senior pets, disabled pets, cats, dogs, and reptiles. I’m patient, responsible, and I really take the time to get to know each animal and their individual needs. Since I commute to college and only have one class a week, I’m home a lot and have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m also a dog mommy myself, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets. 🐾 I’m a full-time college student studying animal care, and since I commute to school and only have one class a week, I’m home a lot of the time. My schedule gives me a lot of flexibility to take care of pets throughout the day, whether that means walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. Since I’m studying animal care, I genuinely enjoy spending my time around animals and getting to know their different personalities and needs. I’m able to work pet care into my weekly routine without it feeling like a chore, and I’m happy to follow each pet’s normal schedule and routine while their owners are away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always try to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I follow their feeding schedule, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and make sure they have a clean, comfortable, and safe space. My home is also a great setup for pets. I have a fenced-in backyard, and I live close to a dog-friendly park and a dog park that’s only about 5 minutes up the road. I’m also near emergency animal hospitals, Petco, and Legacy Place, so there are plenty of pet-friendly places and resources nearby if needed. I know every pet is different, so I’m happy to adjust to their personality and routine. Whether they’re energetic and love going outside, prefer relaxing at home, or need extra patience and attention, I’ll make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for.
About: I have been around dogs and cats all of my life. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, we had two dogs: an American Pit Bull Terrier and an APBT Staffie mix. They were the most athletic and lovey dogs! In their senior years, they had medical issues so I am experienced with med management and adopting activities to their capabilities. We also had several cats growing up including adopted strays. Currently, my fiance and I have a half APBT, half Siberian Husky dog. He is the best! We adopted him from a family that kept him in his crate for so long that he bit off a large portion of the hair on his tail. He was reactive in the beginning, lunging at cars on the road and barking and lunging at dogs on walks. I used Spirit Dog Training’s reactivity course and my education in behavioral psychology and research to fix these issues. He no longer does either things and his hair has grown back in spades! We keep him busy by training him (tricks) and mentally stimulated with sniff walks and games like find it, as well as off leash time, hikes, runs, etc. We love hiking with Oto: he recently completed numerous hikes in Acadia National Park and has done Camel’s Hump in VT and Mt. Osceola in NH: he plans on completing the NH 48! In general, I love being outside and active: hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, running, kayaking, rock climbing and going to the gym. I love all dogs, but have a particular drive to keep working dogs happy and healthy! German Shepherds, Border Collies, Huskies, Cattle Dogs, Anatolian Shepherds: it is amazing what they can do and how they have served our communities in numerous roles for decades. I have spent a lot of time with my sister’s German Shepherd and half GSD half Anatolian dogs and my family's Great Danes. I also volunteered at a therapeutic horseback riding center and rode horseback for several years; I find being around horses to be great training for how to interact with, and train, dogs. They are so big that they don’t HAVE to listen to you. Maintaining confidence (even if you don’t feel like it) and a steady hand go a long way, as well as keeping aware of their body language and behaviors. They are very sensitive creatures. In the Fall of 2026, I am resuming my graduate program in clinical social work and have indicated my availability in the details section. However, those times and days don't apply during winter and summer breaks (open availability then). Please share your dog's behaviors and needs with me before scheduling walks. If your dog is reactive (barks at dogs on walks or lunges) please let me know and I can adjust the walking route and make sure to give other dogs plenty of space. Let me know what their usual distance on walks is, as I can try to adjust my pace accordingly. I have a lot of experience with this (decades). If you have treats for your dog, I can take them out with me if needed.
About: I’ve loved and cared for animals all my life. Whether it be my own pets (I currently have two cats), walking dogs or house sitting, I show up with all of my patience, understanding and vigilance. For the past 5+ years I worked in doggy daycares handling large groups of dogs in every size and shape. My responsibilities included maintaining a safe and clean environment for all and staying vigilant. I had to observe the dog’s behaviors at all times and be quick to think and act in order to de-escalate if needed. These environments needed a lot of patience and the ability to remain calm in high stress situations. The daycares also included boarding services which required morning and night feedings as well as giving medications when needed. This job gave me the skills needed to understand dog behavior and body language and how to respond. This job also gave me knowledge and skills in training and behavior management/modification. I believe I have a skill set that sets me apart because not only do I have the experience and honed abilities in something I love, I would be honored to put my hard work to use in service of the one you love. I have full weekly availability to be of service to you and your pets needs. Right now I have open availability Monday-Sunday for walking and home visits as well as occasional overnight availability. While my own home is not available for services I respect the client’s home the same as if it were my own. To care for pets in their own home is to keep to their routine and comfort and to put their safety and wellbeing above all else.
About: Hi! I’m Jenny, a nursing student and lifelong animal lover. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages and personalities, including my own senior husky, so I understand how important patience, attention, and a comfortable routine can be for every pet. I’m reliable, caring, and will treat your pets like they’re my own. Whether they need walks, playtime, feeding, lots of attention, or simply some company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe and loved. I’m also happy to follow any specific routines or instructions you have and provide plenty of updates and pictures so you can feel comfortable while your pet is in my care. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! 🐾 Even though I have a pretty busy school schedule, I always make room for pets! I spend a lot of time studying, so I love having a furry study buddy nearby to keep me company. I’m happy to take study breaks for walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and plenty of attention. Having pets around makes my day better, and I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and included in my routine. I care for every pet based on their normal routine and what makes them feel most comfortable. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of walks or playtime, and of course lots of attention and cuddles if they enjoy that! I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you have, whether that’s medications, crate routines, potty schedules, or certain behaviors to watch for. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
About: I grew up in a home with dogs, cats, bunnies, hens and roosters. I have never lived without caring for an animal! I love being outside, going for walks, playing and gardening. I am a mom of two school-aged boys and a proud owner of two tuxedo kitties whom we adopted nine years ago. I work part-time in the afternoons as an outdoor preschool art specialist. I am free between 9:30 am, and 1 pm everyday, and Wednesday and Thursday until 3 pm! I may also have early evenings free starting at the end of June. I have plenty of time in my schedule to help you care for your animals. Looking forward to meeting them! I am fun, gentle, playful and caring, and have a good instinct for what dogs and cats need. I can read body language and am sensitive to energy. I look forward to learning more about your pets from you, getting to know them and forging a relationship.

“Amanda was excellent! She was very kind, sweet and attentive with my puppy and took him on a nice long walk. She made sure to ask any questions and communicate everything, and we were able to trust her with our pup and our house while we were gone. We will definitely look to book with Amanda in the future next time we need a dog walker!”

“Stephen & Cecilia were wonderful to my little guy for an overnight stay at their house. They gave me lots of pics and updates. They were sweet and patient with Frank who can be a little shy!”

“Julie was amazing! She sent us pictures of Pepés adventures and told us about all the fun things they did. It was like a luxury vacation for pepé, he loved it. We will be return customers!”

“Joseph took great care of my little Frenchie back in January. I had to change my plans quickly due to my pup going into heat super early and a few days before our trip. It was stressful to try and find someone quick that I could trust with my literal child but Joseph made it SO much easier even accommodating pick up and drop off. He sent me lot of picture updates and kept me well informed when she was having tummy issues (due to her heat). I tend to worry about my pup a lot due to her breed and the strict routine I have to make sure she is healthy (if you have a Frenchie you know lol).”

“Kira and family are the only people who have watched our dog overnight since we got her 2 years ago. We have left her probably 5 times and have never had an issue. They are thoughtful and communicative. We are grateful and don’t take for granted that our pup has a safe and happy home away from home.”
