“Sarah was so wonderful all around -easy to communicate with, flexible, and clearly took such good care of my dog. Got photo updates through my dog's stay, it was obvious she loved staying with Sarah and her family!”

“Greta was very kind, patient, communicative and accommodating! Lots of updates and pics throughout my dogs stay. Plenty of walks and park time. He seemed genuinely happy to be there!”

“Alyson is always amazing watching my cat! He’s had some medical issues lately and she was extremely attentive, followed all my instructions, and gave me constant updates on how he was doing. My trip out of town was much much less stressful thanks to her. I would recommend Alyson for anyone looking to have their cat stay with someone while they are away. Thanks Alyson!!”

“Whitney and David have been our favorite dog sitter for our dog Mia. They are always very gentle and patient with her. I really appreciated Whitney’s extensive phone call + questionnaire with us before her first visit with them where she learned all of Mia’s behaviors and things to look out for. They took the time to really get to know our shy pup, and they treated her with kindness and understanding every visit. Not once did we worry about Mia’s wellbeing when we left her with them and she always returned to us happy and playful!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Alana! She takes such great care of my dog Murphy that he doesn’t even want to leave. He’s never done this with any other sitter or boarding facility. You can tell that she treats him like her own, and the pictures I get of him smiling ear to ear while I’m away are the highlight of my week. Thank you, Alana!!”

“Our usual dog boarder wasn't available for a short mid-week getaway so we found Julie on Rover. She was wonderful! Julie has a lovely home with a fantastic screened porch and great flat, fenced-in yard. We met a few days before to introduce my dog to hers and share info. Julie's dog is happy and sweet and was good company for mine, in addition to Julie, while we were away. I didn't worry at all knowing our pup was in good hands. Julie even sent me a couple updates and some cute pics and a video - our dog truly had a great stay! We would definitely book Julie again. You should, too. ;)”

“Jess was great! She was very communicative and sent great pictures of our pup while we were away from her. Pick up and drop off were very easy and Jess was flexible with our timing. We already booked our next boarding for our pup!”

“Kim is great. Our dog took to her right away and was immediately comfortable in Kim’s home and with her two lovely dogs. Kim kept in touch with us and sent numerous pictures. We highly recommend Kim as a dog sitter.”

“Bridget was absolutely amazing! Bridget took our dog overnight for our wedding night, we had never left Jax with anyone before. She exceeded our expectations and our pup loved every single second with her! Bridget provided so many updates and photos to keep our minds at ease. She is so sweet and we will highly recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter! We absolutely will be using her again. Jax already misses her and all the love she gave him!”

“Our dog had such a great time with Wendy and her family!! They took such great care of him and sent updates every day we were away. If you are looking for someone to watch your pup while you’re out of town, I highly recommend Wendy!!”

“Paula is absolutely amazing. She is extremely careful, loving, and incredibly professional. I was very happy leaving my Nina with her and I am looking forward to our next opportunity!”

“Casey is a warm, conscientious, dependable dog sitter. Our beagles loved staying with her for a week. She kept us updated on the pups through photos and was fast in responding to our questions. She even dropped the dogs off at our home! We will definitely book her again. Thank you so much Casey!”
“Dana and Nia are truly exceptional pet sitters — caring, understanding, and the kind of people who instantly put you at ease about leaving your furry family member in their hands. Our dog Kippy can be quite a handful. He has a nervous temperament and takes time to warm up to new people, but Dana and Nia were incredibly patient. They took the time to really get to know him, and it showed — Kippy was visibly comfortable and at ease with them, which honestly says everything. On top of that, they were wonderfully flexible and gracious when we ran late, never making us feel rushed or guilty. That kind of warmth and understanding goes a long way. If you’re looking for pet sitters who will treat your little loved ones like their own, look no further. We couldn’t recommend Dana and Nia more highly!”

“Julie was absolutely wonderful! Our dog can be quite anxious, but we could tell by his demeanor when he came home that Julie made him feel very comfortable and cared for! We'd love to have Dodge stay with Julie again, and we are very grateful for the updates and great care Dodge received!”

“Jason was great with our dog Calvin. It's always hard finding a new sitter (we just moved to Boston), but Jason was probably one of the best we've ever used on Rover. He communicated multiple times a day, sent photos of our buddy and asked questions when he had them. Calvin had a great time with Noah, his new bestie, and settled in much faster than he usually does. We know Calvin looks forward to his next stay with Noah, and so do we!”

“Su took such good care of my sweet girl!! His home is a lovely space and is very welcoming for a visitor. He sent detailed updates with photos so I always knew my pup was doing great. He really seemed to care about her happiness and well-being! I am so grateful! I hope to use his services again!”

“Lindsay was incredible with Sunny. She was very thorough during the meet and greet. She gives detailed updates with great pictures. Overall she goes above and beyond. I would definitely recommend.”

“Aly has cared for my 3 cats a few times and done an excellent job. They each have different personalities and needs. One of the cats requires 2-3 liquid medications twice a day and Aly has done a great job getting him to take the medications. I feel very comfortable leaving my cats in her care and will continue to use her in the future.”

“INCREDIBLE! My therapist recommended I use this app and we were so worried as first time users. Michaela was attentive, very communicative and went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. We will 100% book with her again and highly recommend for anyone looking for someone who will care for your pets and ease your worries. Legitimately so happy we booked with Michaela.”

“Sarah was attentive to my cats needs and sent me photos everyday. I really appreciated the piece of mind she gave me knowing that my cat was well taken care of during my trip.”
“James was an excellent caregiver for my cat. He came over early to see the house and meet Finbar, sent nice updates and pictures. I would be happy to use his services again.”

“Second time I’ve had Yanira take care of Ruthie and she did a great job! Ruthie can be shy but comes out every time for Yanira. Will happily book her again!”

“I was so happy to reconnect with Ann Marie! She cared for our dog a few years back and we were thrilled to have her care for our elderly cat last week. We are looking forward to having her take care of him again this summer!”

About: I was born into a home with cats, therefore I have 47 years of experience being in their presence. For all of my adult life, I have had my own cats and have helped others take care of theirs by feeding, playing, scooping the litter and taking them out for walks on a kitty-leash. I have experience with ferrel, skittish, playful, needy and calm personalities. Presently my family and I have 2 tuxedo kitties whom we adopted 9 years ago. I love cats.

About: I grew up with cats: as a kid, we lived in the woods and made friends with an outdoor cat that eventually basically lived with us. I love cats, but respect that, generally, when you first meet them, the more you leave them alone the more comfortable they feel! My cat, Sarah (in my picture) was with me for 12 years before she passed away. She was a very energetic and hilarious Tortie and reminded me very much of a mix between a dog and a cat. She would drag her string to me at night and meow very mournfully to wake me up so I would (hopefully) play with it, which involved dangling it high enough for her to jump up and swat at it. In her senior years, she developed epilepsy and had to be medicated to control the seizures, so I am experienced with med management.
“Sarah was an amazing sitter for our two cats Frank and Brooke. Excellent with communication and she did her best to accommodate Frank who is extra-shy and usually hides under the bed. She went above and beyond our expectations in every respect.”

“Sean is a great human and a great carer. My dog is incredibly picky and always right. She will decide at the door, on the first sniff, if she is ok with someone or now, and she immediately took to Sean. He tracks their walking route and sends me the cutest update pictures. He has also been so flexible with my dogs recent surgeries. He walks my dog daily and it is the highlight of her day!”

“This was our second time booking Jordan, and once again she has been an amazing cat sitter for our cat! We will be rebooking her as a cat sitter.”

“Jainah is so sweet and awesome. She stayed with our cat Lola during our wedding weekend and it was so great to know that Lola was happy and cared for while we were away. She provided us with tons of photos and updates every day and left our house extremely neat and clean!”

“Mike did a great job doting on our very neurotic cat. He managed to slip a pill into her food every morning, and stayed around for a bit so she could get a "second breakfast" afterwards. He even got to pet her occasionally, something only a very select few can say! Fountains were kept filled, cat box was clean, and bowls weren't overflowing with stale, dried up food. Definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve had a dog for over 9 years now and have experience sitting other dogs for over 3 years now. I am looking to provide exceptional care and love for all kinds of dogs I am a recent college graduate with plenty of free time on my hands. When I am not free, I am either golfing, hanging with my friends, or traveling. I care for dogs by making them feel comfortable while their owner is away, by making them feel loved, and by entertaining them, whether that be a walk, fetch, etc.
“Molly was absolutely fantastic! She assured me she catproofed her apartment, sent me updates, and made she my kitties felt comfortable. Thank you so much Molly, I’m glad I had such a kindhearted person looking after my cats. Definitely will be rebooking and recommending her to my family and friends! 💕🐱”

About: Hi! I've been around animals my whole life, and caring for pets is truly second nature to me. I've owned and loved both dogs and cats since I was a kid, and that lifelong experience shows in how I care for every animal I meet. What really sets me apart is my background in pet care and dog training. I graduated from Norfolk County Agricultural High School, where I took many animal science courses. I took classes in canine behavior, pet shop management, and animal science. I learned how to handle, groom, and care for dogs of all breeds, through hands-on experiences. I bring patience, knowledge, and lots of love to every pet I care for. I am college student spending the rest of my summer from July 8 until August 22 at home. This means I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m already helping my family take care of our own dog, so adding more pets to my routine fits in perfectly! I am available Monday through Friday and am very flexible throughout the day, so I can easily accommodate different schedules and needs. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s, their safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I stay in tune with how they are feeling, making sure they’re well-fed, clean, healthy, and getting plenty of rest and outdoor time. At home, I provide a pet-friendly environment. I’m also lucky to live next to a reservation with trails, open fields, and ponds and streams perfect for dogs who love to explore nature. I enjoy taking pets on these little adventures to keep them active and mentally stimulated. When it comes to pet care, I always treat each animal as if they were my own.
“My pup has done daycare with Jason three times now and she runs up to his front door excited each time. Jason shares photos and videos each day and maps of their walks and bathroom breaks. He’s a great communicator and it’s so comforting to leave my (big) dog with him when I’m at work knowing she’s fully taken care of. Can’t recommend him enough!”

“Michelle is amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure my dog was comfortable and felt safe during the meet and greet and first full visit. He came home happy tuckered out after a great day. Would definitely recommend!”

“Allie was very quick to respond to a last minute Fourth of July Day boarding. She was very easy to communicate with and very friendly. This is my first time leaving my dog with someone. I was happy to get updates on her walk. She was great and would definitely book again!”

“Jamie was great! Was flexible with an early pickup, communicated quickly, and took good care of our pup. Benji immediately made himself at home and seemed sad to go, he enjoyed his time with Jamie and Sammie.”

“she is very kind and compassionate. Great person. She is taking care of my dog with hip problems. I can leave my dog with no hesitations. Thank you Sue.”

“Joseph was great and his puppy Rose is the sweetest girl! Hailey stayed with them for a day while we were away and she seemed happy and tired when we picked her up.”

“Nick C was a terrific host to our dog and appreciate the great communication. Nick provided wonderful care and highly recommend!!! Thanks again Nick and look forward to booking more times in the future🐾🐾🐾🐾”

About: Whether your dog needs a fun walk, a drop-in visit while you're at work, or a comfortable place to stay while you're away, I'd love to help! I truly enjoy caring for dogs and treat every one as if they were my own. I have experience with dogs of all ages, but I especially love working with senior dogs. I'm patient, understand that older dogs often need a slower pace, and I'm comfortable giving medications and following special care routines. During walks, I focus on your dog's individual needs, whether that's an energetic adventure or a slow, relaxed stroll. For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your dog gets fresh water, meals, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of attention. If your dog is boarding with me, they'll be treated like part of the family, with lots of love, exercise, and a safe, comfortable environment. There's nothing more rewarding to me than seeing a happy dog. My goal is always to give you peace of mind, knowing your dog is in caring, dependable hands while you're away.

“Duffy had a great time during her first visit with Sean and his dogs. She was exhausted when she arrived home from all the running and playing. We'd recommend Sean to anyone in the area for dog-sitting.”

“I highly recommend Ling & Ye...they were fantastic! Our schedule was more dynamic than we had intended and they were very flexible. Our boy Riley, 1-year old Golden, had great time and can't wait to get back to see his new friends!”

About: Hi, I’m Lindsay! 🐾 I have dedicated my career to the well-being of animals, blending over a decade of professional dog walking and hands-on pet care with professional veterinary hospital experience. From leading structured off-leash playgroups and serving as a Daycare Shift Supervisor to working as a Client Liaison at MSPCA-Angell Animal Medical Center, I have cared for almost every breed, size, and temperament imaginable. Whether I am providing dedicated house sitting in your home or dropping in for daily walks and check-ins, my background means your fur family is getting far more than standard pet care: - Behavioral Expertise & Comfort: I am highly skilled at reading canine body language, maintaining calm dynamics, and using positive reinforcement to keep anxious or sensitive pets feeling safe and loved. - Medical Peace of Mind: With my veterinary hospital background, I am deeply experienced in administering medications, managing strict schedules, and recognizing subtle signs of health concerns. I am also certified in Dog CPR, First Aid, and Safety. - Seamless Routines & Cleanliness: I take a lot of pride in keeping a tidy, comfortable environment. Food and water bowls stay fresh, your home stays respected and neat, and if the classic New England weather gets messy, your pet gets a cozy towel-dry before settling in. Because my schedule is highly flexible, your pet's exact routine is my top priority. I am a cat owner myself and love caring for both dogs and cats of all comfort levels. I’m always happy to provide detailed credentials and professional references to give you total peace of mind. I’d love to connect via a phone call or a meet-and-greet to see how I can best love and support your pets in the comfort of their own home! Pet care is my daily routine, which means my schedule revolves entirely around the needs of my furry clients and their pet parents! Whether it’s mid-day neighborhood walks, wooded hikes, structured playtime, or accommodating last-minute schedule changes, my current lifestyle allows me to be incredibly dependable, available, and fully present for your pet every single day. A typical day with me is the perfect mix of structure, safety, and pure fun, completely tailored to your pet’s unique groove! Whether your pup needs high-energy hikes and legendary games of fetch to burn off steam, or more leisurely neighborhood strolls and engaging brain games tailored for smaller paws, I customize the day to them. I take a lot of pride in keeping a clean, tidy environment. Food and water bowls are always fresh, play spaces stay neat, and if that classic New England weather gets messy, your pet gets a cozy towel-dry or a refreshing bath before settling in to relax.
About: I have always loved dogs and even have a dog of my own. I am extremely patient and consider myself to be kind. I work as a kindergarten teacher so I am used to taking care of things and tending to their needs. As a kindergarten teacher, I have lots of free time on weekends and school breaks, and I figured the best use of my time would be to do something I already enjoy doing and also help other people out as well. Since I already own a dog of my own I am very conscientious of what dogs can or cannot do, eat, or be near. I try to play with them as much as possible and be friendly with them so they feel comfortable around new people.
About: I have been around dogs and cats all of my life. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, we had two dogs: an American Pit Bull Terrier and an APBT Staffie mix. They were the most athletic and lovey dogs! In their senior years, they had medical issues so I am experienced with med management and adopting activities to their capabilities. We also had several cats growing up including adopted strays. Currently, my fiance and I have a half APBT, half Siberian Husky dog. He is the best! We adopted him from a family that kept him in his crate for so long that he bit off a large portion of the hair on his tail. He was reactive in the beginning, lunging at cars on the road and barking and lunging at dogs on walks. I used Spirit Dog Training’s reactivity course and my education in behavioral psychology and research to fix these issues. He no longer does either things and his hair has grown back in spades! We keep him busy by training him (tricks) and mentally stimulated with sniff walks and games like find it, as well as off leash time, hikes, runs, etc. We love hiking with Oto: he recently completed numerous hikes in Acadia National Park and has done Camel’s Hump in VT and Mt. Osceola in NH: he plans on completing the NH 48! In general, I love being outside and active: hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, running, kayaking, rock climbing and going to the gym. I love all dogs, but have a particular drive to keep working dogs happy and healthy! German Shepherds, Border Collies, Huskies, Cattle Dogs, Anatolian Shepherds: it is amazing what they can do and how they have served our communities in numerous roles for decades. I have spent a lot of time with my sister’s German Shepherd and half GSD half Anatolian dogs and my family's Great Danes. I also volunteered at a therapeutic horseback riding center and rode horseback for several years; I find being around horses to be great training for how to interact with, and train, dogs. They are so big that they don’t HAVE to listen to you. Maintaining confidence (even if you don’t feel like it) and a steady hand go a long way, as well as keeping aware of their body language and behaviors. They are very sensitive creatures. In the Fall of 2026, I am resuming my graduate program in clinical social work and have indicated my availability in the details section. However, those times and days don't apply during winter and summer breaks (open availability then). Please share your dog's behaviors and needs with me before scheduling walks. If your dog is reactive (barks at dogs on walks or lunges) please let me know and I can adjust the walking route and make sure to give other dogs plenty of space. Let me know what their usual distance on walks is, as I can try to adjust my pace accordingly. I have a lot of experience with this (decades). If you have treats for your dog, I can take them out with me if needed.
“Alexis did an amazing job with our dog, Duke. She took great care of him, giving him plenty of exercise and feeding him while we were away. We will definitely use Alexis in the future!”

“Thank you Sean! Sean was amazing with our Aussie Rusty. We were not at home for the week and Sean picked up and dropped off Rusty from our elder parents. They said he was so nice chatting with them, punctual every day, making sure Rusty got his long walks and did his business. Sean sent us a daily report card with photos along the walk and charted out new neighborhoods in our town. Rusty must have loved that! We had a heavy downpour one of the days and Sean took the time to make sure Rusty was all dried up after the walk. It was such a positive experience for us all thanks to Sean and without hesitation we would recommend Sean to any one who want their babies :) cared for when you are away.”

I'm often available for same-day or short-notice requests, and I'm happy to help with vacation coverage or other short-term care needs. I have one cat at home who is deeply spoiled. I live close to many parks and will be more than happy take them for walks and runs. I will bring along poo bags and a collapsible water bowl to make sure your pup is well hydrated during our walk. I work Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm. I will be available Monday through Friday for evening walks and anytime on the weekends. I will be able to give your dog a bath and a good brush after a walk if needed!
About: I have a strong speciality working with felines and canines. Throughout the years, having pets of my own and pet sitting, I gained hands-on experience providing safe, effective, feeding, bathing, cleaning, and enrichment (including exercise) to varying animals through positive reinforcement. Additionally, taking animal behavior courses over the year's I learned a strong understanding how to interpret and respond to different species behaviors, such as fear. I then translated this knowledge working with fearful and traumatized canines to build their trust over time and to create positive associations in my personal time. I currently have a part-time job and can ensure to make your schedule fit into mine. I'm always sure to communicate if something may come up during your booking, such as other gigs or obligations outside of work, that way there's total clarity on where and when I'll be in relation to your pet(s). I take the care of another's space very seriously, doing my best to leave things as I found them. When I’m caring for pets, whether it’s in my home or yours, my main goal is to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I like to keep their routine as close to normal as possible — same walk times, meals, and plenty of play and cuddle time. In my home, I make sure there’s a comfy spot for naps, space to play, and lots of attention. When I’m at a client’s home, I treat it with respect and care. Every animal is different, so I take the time to get to know what makes each one comfortable and content.

You should, too. ;)”

“Emily was an amazing host for our 4 year old Goldendoodle Buckbeak during our long weekend trip. Emily made sure Buckbeak felt at home and comfortable at her place and Buckbeak got along so well with her cutest little Luna. Emily was also very responsive and provided regular daily updates which was really helpful. We also really appreciated Emily's flexibility with our last minute change in schedule. Thanks so much for being an awesome host, Emily!”
