“Kyra did a great job caring for my two cats, sometimes coming twice a day to feed, water and litter. Kyra also gave ear drops to Nike who had an infection. She sent pictures and was in contact, and I think the cats really liked her. I trust her and would certainly book Kyra again.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was three years old and trained most of them! I often take care of my sisters one year old Pomeranian and take him to the local dog park and on long walks on the nearby trail! With my full time job as an interior designer, I’m free to spend time with your pup on the weekends and on the Mondays or Fridays that I’m working from home! Unfortunately my apartment does not allow dogs but I can care for your pup at your home! I know every pup is different so I can care for her/him according to how you would like :) I love going for walks so I do not mind taking long walks!

“Sally was the best! I was so nervous about leaving my cat knowing how skittish and shy he can be. Sally totally understood and made sure he was ok without overwhelming him. I came home to find he had been well cared for and happy to see me. I will definitely ask for Sally next time.”

About: My family has had golden retrievers since I was born. I also love cats, and have been feeding friends and neighbors cats since I was young. I am a college student currently I have much more flexibility during breaks, but have full availability on weekends year-round. Feel free to reach out with any scheduling requests or questions. IMPORTANT: Starting on MAY 13th I will no longer be in Cambridge for the summer. I do not yet have my schedule for this summer, so you may request a service if you see it in my calendar from June-July, just know I do not yet know if it will conflict with a summer internship. Thanks! :) I am available for walks, ensuring your pups get all the exercise they need. I can feed and administer any oral medication needed as well. I have lots of experience caring for animals with varying schedules, and will be able to tend to any of your furry friends needs! Feel free to reach out with any questions or meet and greet requests. I am a true animal lover and a long time pet owner myself. Thank you!
“Julia took care of our dogs during the winter holidays. She was just perfect! We got daily reports and cute pictures and by Julia’s messages we could see that the dogs were being super well taken care. Julia went far and beyond even accommodating extra days and making sure that the dogs were eating regularly. I certainly recommend her and will look forward to book her again on our next trip.”

About: Growing up with dogs in the family made me learn how to care for them naturally and see animals as friends. I will be more than happy to know your buddy, make sure they have everything they need, and have amazing moments together. I’m working part time and mostly available up to two hours during the morning and evenings after 5pm. Weekends are flexible with all day availability and flexibility. I always double check any house doors, to make sure it’s safe. Keep them near me in any outdoor environment is a rule, never unleashed or left alone outside. I’ll love to know more about your dogs habits and personality to adjust to their needs, restrictions and expectations.
About: I've been a dog lover my entire life and had one of my own until recently. Having dogs in my lives has brought me immense joy! I will treat and care for your dog as if they were a part of my family. I am very reliable and responsible, and I have transportation available for pick-up and drop-off if needed. I would be delighted to take care of your pet! I work from home most of the times and have a pretty flexible schedule! I usually walk my in the morning and before sunset every day, each around 30 minutes, but could increase the frequency if your dog needed! I have a fenced yard, and there are 2 dog parks near my house, I usually let my dog plays there. The dogs in the park I meet are all super friendly! Besides, I have plenty of toys and treats in the house.
“My cats were well cared for and came back to a clean home! My cats were well cared for and had fun playing with her. She provided a summary and pictures for every visit.”

“Lindsay was incredible with Sunny. She was very thorough during the meet and greet. She gives detailed updates with great pictures. Overall she goes above and beyond. I would definitely recommend.”

“Great catsitter! Brittany looked after our two cats while we were away for a week and kept them well-fed, clean and happy. We really appreciated that she always kept us updated on how they were doing and sent us photos during her check-ins. She was communicative, respectful and proactive and was even able to accept a very last-minute drop-in visit request when our trip was unexpectedly delayed. We won't hesitate to reach out to her for our future petsitting needs!”

“Emma was super sweet and so helpful. My usual sitter canceled extremely last minute which left me scrambling and Emma was able to help with essentially 12 hours notice. She saved me from having to call out of work. The dogs seemed to love her and she took adorable pictures. Thank you so much for being a lifesaver!”

“Aga is AWESOME, and definitely a dog whisperer!! My usually, clingy, somewhat anxious rescue pup, Buddy had a wonderful drop in visit today, and can hardly wait to head back to Aga's home again soon for his week long vacay❣️”

“Very kind and eager to be a good pet friend to my two cats while I was away. Also conscientious, making sure all was well with a cat who is more shy these days. House was as I left it!”

About: I’m an experienced animal-care professional with hands-on experience supporting the daily care and facility operations of a high-volume rescue housing more than 100 dogs. My responsibilities included coordinating feeding schedules and outdoor rotations, maintaining clean and safe environments, assisting with dog handling, and helping prospective adopters during meet-and-greets. I understand that every dog has a different personality, comfort level, energy level, and routine. I prioritize safe handling, patience, clear communication, and following each owner’s instructions carefully. I’m comfortable working with dogs of different sizes and temperaments, while always being honest about whether a particular pet is a good match for my experience. I recently moved to Natick and am available for local dog walks and drop-in visits. I will provide dependable arrival updates, photos, and a detailed report after every visit so you know how your pet is doing. I currently have a flexible, open schedule and am available throughout the week for daytime and early evening visits. I plan to continue offering dog walks and drop-in care alongside my future work schedule. I provide care in and around each client’s home, following the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and household access. I prioritize safe handling, secure leashes and doors, clear communication, and detailed photo updates after each visit.

About: Hi! I’m a mom of boys with a flexible schedule and some extra time during school hours, so pet care feels like the perfect fit. I love animals and enjoy getting outside for walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while their people are away I have a pretty flexible schedule during school hours, so pet care fits in easily throughout my week. I enjoy getting outside for walks, spending time with animals, and making sure pets feel cared for and comfortable while their owners are away. I care for pets in their own home where they’re most comfortable, whether that’s for walks, playtime, potty breaks, feeding, or just some extra attention. I’ll follow your instructions and routine to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and cared for.
About: Plenty of experience with all types of pets! I have been around dogs and cats all of my life and I currently own an AMAZING corgi named Macy. I am very comfortable around all dogs whether they are small or large. I love dogs and will definitely take wayyyy too many pictures of your fur babies. Your pets are your children and I am more than equipped to meet their needs. I lived with 4 dogs before so I’m very used to watching more than 1. Keeping your pets happy is my priority!!! I typically work 8-5pm at Texas a&m and I’m free outside of that! Depending on how close you were I could potentially let the dogs out at lunch. Your pets typically feel most comfortable in their own environment so while I can’t keep them at my house with my current housing restrictions I am more than willing to house sit so that they can feel at ease while you are away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
