About: I have worked for the WAG! app for over a year now. I've always enjoyed caring for friends and neighbors pets when they were away from home. I've also always had at least 2 pets of my own. I'm currently taking the year off to go back to school. Since all of my courses are online, I am able to remain home each day to care for the animals in my care. I have a large yard that is partially fenced in with a very long run setup across the yard. I also live extremely close to walking trails and have private beach access.

About: I have 15+ years of hands-on pet care experience, including 10 years working in a professional grooming shop as a bather. That experience made me very comfortable handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, personalities and energy levels. I have also owned and cared for large-breed dogs throughout my life, including Dobermans, Rottweilers and pit bulls, so I am genuinely comfortable with big dogs. I understand that a 90-pound dog who is excited to see you is a very different experience from walking a 15-pound dog! I have experience administering subcutaneous medications to my own pets and am comfortable giving oral medications as directed. I am also happy to follow specific feeding, walking and care routines. Most importantly, I treat each pet as an individual. I want to know their routine, quirks, favorite things and what makes them comfortable so I can care for them the way you would. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to accommodate weekday walks and drop-in visits throughout the day, including the popular midday hours. I’m also available for morning and evening visits and can often accommodate weekends with advance notice. I’m happy to work with recurring weekly schedules as well as occasional care when you’re traveling or have a long day away from home. I care for pets in their own home with the same attention and respect I would expect for my own. I carefully follow each pet’s feeding, walking and medication instructions, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure pets are safely settled before I leave. About: I am a long-time pet parent with 2 cats and a dog. I am new to offering pet-care services, but have used Rover for care of my own pets and had some very good experiences. I hope to offer the same peace of mind to other families. I am currently seeking recreational employment (like pet sitting) but am otherwise unencumbered by work outside the home, so I have plenty of time to devote to care-giving work.
