Linh is so good with our pups. They love having her come visit while we’re at work. Also she is flexible with her schedule with us which has helped so much. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who asks. We’re lucky to have found her in the area.

About: From my experience growing up with dogs, I will adequately walk, feed, and care for medium-small dogs. I have also provided in-home catsitting services while family-friends are away for up to two weeks at a time (feeding, playing, litter). I'm currently a college student in Fairfield, Connecticut. I'm looking for a job in pet care over school breaks in the summer and between semesters in the winter. I do not take animals into my own home so I do not disturb my family or aging dog, but I will gladly care for your pet in the comfort of your home and walk your dog in your neighborhood.

Morgan took great care of my cat Nami for 6 days, twice a day while I was on vacation. Not only did she complete basic routines such as feeding, cleaning litter box and sending updates per visit, but most importantly, she is really trying to playing with and accompanying my cat during all the visits. I can tell my cat likes her. I will definitely rebook with Morgan.

Deirdre took great care of my cat Nami for four days while I was away on vacation. My cat is picky about playing, so I left a few playing tips. It’s good to know that Deirdre was actively trying those tips to play with her! Besides, Deirdre followed our routines for feeding, and cleaning litter boxes. Thanks Deirdre!

Emma was super sweet and so helpful. My usual sitter canceled extremely last minute which left me scrambling and Emma was able to help with essentially 12 hours notice. She saved me from having to call out of work. The dogs seemed to love her and she took adorable pictures. Thank you so much for being a lifesaver!

About: I’m a young outdoors person who loves animals. Your animals needs will always be met with me. Whether it’s a younger dog who need lots of playing time and exercise, or an older pet who just needs loving, I will be perfect for the job. I’ve lived with animals in my house for my entire life. From Dobermans to Shih Tzus and turtles to fish. I have been house sitting for friends and neighbors for a while now with no issues. I’ve also done some dog training while my brother got his service dog. No matter what, your pets needs will be taken care of with me with love. I am a college student on winter break and would love to work a little bit over the break. Until January 20th, I am available 7 days a week and any times you need. The only times I will not be available is Christmas Eve/ Christmas Day. Other than that I have a very flexible schedule. I’ve got 2 older dogs (poodle and shih tzu) who are very friendly and love to play. I’ve got 2 different sized cages, small and large, for any type of dog you have. We do not have a fence in back yard but a large backyard to run around in with a leash and lovely neighborhood.

About: I grew up surrounded by 3 dogs all throughout my childhood. I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages as well as rabbits. I have experience in elderly dog care as I had taken care of my elderly dog, helping him stand and ensuring medications were given on time. I have two adoring kittens who I’ve raised from 4weeks old, i’ve had cats all while growing up. I can do deep litter box cleanings if asked. I strive to not only meet your needs and make you happy but also ensure your pet is happy and feels loved under my care. About: Hi, I'm Amy! I'm a full-time teacher, lifelong dog owner, and Massachusetts-licensed kennel owner who provides a safe, loving home where dogs are treated like family. With a secure fenced yard, daily walks, and plenty of one-on-one attention, your pup will have a fun and comfortable stay. I’ve cared for animals my entire life, growing up with dogs, cats, horses, and other pets, and I regularly board and care for friends' and neighbors' dogs. I currently have a friendly one-year-old White Cream Retriever, Cooper, who loves other dogs, and two dog-friendly cats. I also recently completed a puppy training class, giving me experience with dogs of all ages and personalities. As an active runner and walker, I can provide plenty of exercise for energetic dogs while also creating a calm, cozy environment for those who prefer to relax. My husband and two responsible late-teen children also love animals, so visiting dogs receive lots of affection and supervision. I take the time to learn each dog's routine and will care for your pet with the same love and attention I give my own. I look forward to welcoming your furry family member into our home! As a full-time teacher and Massachusetts-licensed kennel owner, I have a very flexible schedule during the summer and am available for dog walking, drop-in visits, boarding, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I can often tailor my day to fit your pet's routine, whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening visits. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and provide dependable, attentive care tailored to each pet's needs. While I have a few short trips planned throughout the summer, my availability is otherwise wide open, and I'll always communicate any scheduling conflicts well in advance. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and cared for as if they were my own. 🐾 I provide attentive, reliable care for pets both in my home and in my clients’ homes, depending on what works best for each family. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—there has never been a time when I didn’t have cats or dogs to care for. Even during my time in the Peace Corps, I adopted and cared for several cats. Working with animals is something I genuinely love, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I understand how important consistency is, so I stick to feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific instructions you provide. Whether it’s exercise, playtime, or simply companionship, I make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. If care takes place in my home, I offer a safe and welcoming environment. I have a fenced-in backyard for plenty of outdoor time, as well as a very friendly retriever who loves having company. I’m mindful about introductions and make sure all pets feel comfortable and secure. This past year, I also completed a puppy training course with my own dog, which strengthened my ability to reinforce good behavior, follow training routines, and work patiently with dogs of different temperaments and energy levels. Above all, I pride myself on being dependable and communicative. You can count on me to show up as promised, provide thoughtful care, and keep you updated so you have peace of mind while you’re away.

Sally was wonderful. She kept the litter box clean and played with our friendly cat. She also was wonderful with our hostile cat, understanding of his anxiety and not afraid to tend to the house completely. She brought in our mail and made a key drop off and pick up plan on her own. We were so happy with her!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Natick. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
