About: I don’t know life without furry friends! I was born into a family with two cats and a dog. Growing up, I took care of my own hamsters, fish, and hermit crabs. Since I was 12, I have taken care of my community members’ dogs of all sizes, cats of all temperaments, and small critters. The last 11 years, I’ve been primarily busy with grad school and taking care of my own 3 cats but recently my eldest crossed the rainbow bridge and I now work fully remotely, so have extra love and time to pour into your animals! I have experience with all ages and sizes of dogs. I can also administer medication. I work fully remotely, so have more flexibility to check in on your pets and walk your dogs! My weekends are generally free and I plan to be available over Thanksgiving and New Years. If I were to stay in your home to care for your dog, I would treat your home with the utmost respect and be able to keep the dog to his/her usual routine. I am comfortable with having your pup in my car if they like rides, need to go to the vet, or driven to a park. The same applies for kitty cats!

About: I have 15+ years of hands-on pet care experience, including 10 years working in a professional grooming shop as a bather. That experience made me very comfortable handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, personalities and energy levels. I have also owned and cared for large-breed dogs throughout my life, including Dobermans, Rottweilers and pit bulls, so I am genuinely comfortable with big dogs. I understand that a 90-pound dog who is excited to see you is a very different experience from walking a 15-pound dog! I have experience administering subcutaneous medications to my own pets and am comfortable giving oral medications as directed. I am also happy to follow specific feeding, walking and care routines. Most importantly, I treat each pet as an individual. I want to know their routine, quirks, favorite things and what makes them comfortable so I can care for them the way you would. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to accommodate weekday walks and drop-in visits throughout the day, including the popular midday hours. I’m also available for morning and evening visits and can often accommodate weekends with advance notice. I’m happy to work with recurring weekly schedules as well as occasional care when you’re traveling or have a long day away from home. I care for pets in their own home with the same attention and respect I would expect for my own. I carefully follow each pet’s feeding, walking and medication instructions, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure pets are safely settled before I leave. I respect your home and privacy, clean up after pets, and provide updates so you know how they’re doing while in my care.

About: Hi! We’re Nicole & Ben, Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, and we genuinely love getting to know every pet’s unique personality. From growing up around animals to volunteering at a local animal shelter, we’ve had plenty of experience caring for pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. We’d love the chance to spoil your pets with lots of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles! We know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets with someone you trust, and we’ll treat them like they’re part of our own family while you’re away. We are young professionals with a highly flexible and hybrid work schedules. We can both work from home if needed and will have ample time to attend to your pets needs. Our home has a quiet indoor space for pets to relax, along with a first-floor patio with direct outdoor access, making it easy to get dogs outside for potty breaks and walks. We are happy to follow each pet’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and downtime.

About: I've been looking after dogs, cats, and exotic pets for about 10 years now. I have a dog, 2 cats, and a leopard gecko of my own, so I know how to take care of all types of animals! I originally started my pet care journey with family pets, and slowly began gaining clients through family friends and being recommended to other people. I have handled all age ranges from kittens to seniors, so I'm able to do a wide array of services (administering medicine, being extra observant, correcting behavior, training, etc.) I'm able to be outside in all kinds of weather, and I can walk or play with your animals for as long as you prefer! I currently work full-time, but I still have plenty of time to care for your animals! My work is very flexible and I am often able to step away to visit your animals. I am completely free on Saturday afternoons, all day Sunday, and all day Monday. Depending on what environment your animal has at your home, I cater to your every preference. On leash, off leash, crated, no pets on furniture, etc. I always make sure to respect my clients homes and most importantly their wishes!

About: I am new to Rover, but I grew up with both cats and dogs and genuinely love both equally. As I’ve gotten older and needed pet sitters of my own, I appreciate the trust that goes into making sure your pet is taken care of while you’re not home. I recently made a career shift from medical device sales to pursuing veterinary medicine as this is something I’m passionate about. Your pets will get the same care and attention to detail that I give my own. I’m going back to school so I have a good amount of flexibility. I’m here to help make sure your pet stays on as close to a normal schedule as possible! I appreciate detailed instructions and the most important thing to me is making sure I give your pet exactly what you need me to give them. Need the food weighed and some meds administered? Got it. Need me to sprint around with them so they can burn some energy? No problem. Whatever you need from me, no matter how unique the request may be to you, I’ve got it.

About: I absolutely adore dogs; To me, my family pets are like my brothers and sisters. I love getting to know a dog, and finding out all their little personality quirks. It makes me genuinely happy to have an animal cuddle up to me at night, or to take them on a nice long walk and see them running around all happy with their tongue hanging out. I adore petting, cuddling, and talking to animals like they’re people, but I’m always aware of and respectful of body language and boundaries; I will never ignore a pet that wants attention, and I will never bother a pet that wants to be left alone, either. Personally, I’m just here to meet lots of cute animals to pet and spoil, and whatever money I can make from it is a nice bonus ☺️ I work remote from my laptop; Usually that means I’m working from home, but I can work from basically anywhere with an internet connection. I’m on my computer intermittently between 9-5, attending infrequent meetings and responding to messages, but I typically have to be at my computer for certain periods of time for <20% of the day; Outside of meetings, I have total flexibility to go on hour+ long walks, play with animals, or take care of chores like cleaning litter boxes and feedings. I am extremely cautious with all pets, but especially other people’s. I will keep a close eye on them whenever they’re with me, whether we’re out and about or just at home. I double check water, food, and litter boxes throughout the day, and do thorough walkthroughs to check for messes if dogs are ever in a different part of the house for me or they are alone for more than an hour. I will be extra careful to only take dogs to trails and parks that I know are safe, and will always keep them away from roads, thin ice, and hunting areas. You’ll also get frequent pictures and videos from me throughout the day so you can be sure your fuzzy family members are safe and happy.

About: Hi! My name is naomi, i am 26 and live in the greater boston area. I have joined Rover because I have loved animals , and spending time with animals for my entire life. I have had dogs all throughout my life and constantly walked my dogs on a regular basis. I also have had a dog with behavioral issues so i know how to work with all different dogs and understand that they all have different needs. I currently have 2 cats and have had cats my whole life so I am also very accustomed to taking care of cats as well as dogs! I hope to meet some incredible animals and keep them happy! My schedule is very flexible currently as I am between jobs. I also have a vehicle which makes traveling to you and your lovely pets much simpler! I ensure my pet is feeling safe and happy at all times to the best of my ability. I walk and feed the dogs and ensure they are cleaned if necessary. If I also make sure that the animal (cat or dog) has been fed and has enough water, and ensure their water is clean. If I am taking care of a cat, I would ensure their litter box is cleaned at least once a day.
