I don’t know life without furry friends! I was born into a family with two cats and a dog. Growing up, I took care of my own hamsters, fish, and hermit crabs. Since I was 12, I have taken care of my community members’ dogs of all sizes, cats of all temperaments, and small critters. The last 11 years, I’ve been primarily busy with grad school and taking care of my own 3 cats but recently my eldest crossed the rainbow bridge and I now work fully remotely, so have extra love and time to pour into your animals! I have experience with all ages and sizes of dogs. I can also administer medication.

Elizabeth is great with animals and will give your cat or dog a lot of love! She is a highly responsible, caring, and patient person, and will treat your pet like one of her own.
I would highly recommend Elizabeth as a trusted and reliable sitter to watch over your fur babies. My long hair chihuahua Rusty is reactive and struggles with new people. Finding care for him is always a massive struggle because he trusts so few people. Elizabeth was so patient with him and good with respecting his boundaries. She met him at his own pace and never forced him to be pet or held without his consent. She never got angry with him, even if he growled or barked out of fear. She regularly sent me pictures and updates to ensure me he was safe and cared for. It gave me such peace of mind during my entire trip that my pup was in her hands while I was away. Elizabeth and I no longer live in the same area but if we did, I would absolutely hire her again to take care of my baby.

Schedule
I work fully remotely, so will be able to offer constant companionship should you choose to board with me. I also have the flexibility to work from your house to play and walk your pups. My weekends are totally free.

Safety, trust & environment
If I were to stay in your home to care for your dog, I would treat your home with the utmost respect and be able to keep the dog to his/her usual routine. I am comfortable with having your pup in my car if they like rides, need to go to the vet, or driven to a park. If you’d like me to host your dog in my home, I would keep them in my finished basement to separate them from my 2 cats to ensure everyone’s safety. I have a yard and live close to two different parks.

A typical day
We can explore two parks near my house, full of good smells! I will be sure to take them on their favorite route near home, give them as many treats as they’re allowed, and all the pets.
