“Linh is fantastic! She house sat for our two pups while we were on vacation for a week. I'm usually nervous about leaving our pups with a new sitter, especially after we had a bad experience with one (not thru Rover) a few years back. But Linh's knowledge and calm, confident demeanor instilled confidence in me so I was able to relax and enjoy our vacation. She sent updates and frequent photos throughout the week. Not only did she leave our house the way we left it, but she washed all of the sheets and towels which was not expected but very much appreciated. We will be using her again for our next vacation and I know the pups will be excited to see her again!”

“Becki went and above and beyond while house sitting and taking care of our beloved tripod. She took such good care of our pup. She followed all instructions and requests and even took her out on additional walks. Becki is the best!”

“Marlin stayed with Alyssa for the weekend and had such a good time! She sent multiple photos during his stay and took great care of him. Would definitely book again with her again. Thank you!”

“Salina did a great job with my dog. My dog was particularly anxious this weekend because we have very recently moved but Salina handled it well and kept me updated on the situation.”
“Julianna took great care of our two dogs in our home for several nights. She was especially good with our skittish dog, taking things slow and moving at our nervous dog's pace. We also got plenty of pictures while we were away and came home to a clean house and two happy dogs.”

“Devon was very punctual, communicative, and patient with our blind 13-year-old terrier mix and her rambunctious younger brother shepherd mix. It was her first time taking care of a completely blind dog, and she asked the right questions and caught on very quickly. She followed our directions exactly and left our home clean and dogs relaxed. I would definitely recommend booking Devon for an overnight with any kind of dog.”

“Julie-Anne was an excellent dog sitter. She communicated very well. Sent photos & gave us up dates. She stayed at our house & gave our dogs love & snuggles. We will use Julie-Anne again.”

“Charlene has become part of our family. Tater Tot gets so excited to see her every time he is with her. We trust her with his care completely. As a dog with a sensitive stomach, she is very communicative about how he is doing and careful to be consistent with his medical and dietary needs. Charlene is beyond 5 stars.”

“Wendy took such incredible care of my two dogs while I was away. From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I came home, my dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. She followed all of my instructions perfectly and went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable and loved. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Wendy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive pet sitter.”

“Sara took wonderful care of Charlie and I would certainly leave him with her again. Even though he can be shy, Charlie took to Sara the first time he met her which put me right at ease. It was easy to communicate with her and it was so nice to receive pictures of them together. When I returned it was obvious that Charlie was well taken care of and that my condo was left as clean and neat as I left it!!”

“Caroline was awesome. She was super responsive and flexible with date changes. She sent pictures of our pets and left the house in perfect condition (even washed the sheets she used!).”
About: I don’t know life without furry friends! I was born into a family with two cats and a dog. Growing up, I took care of my own hamsters, fish, and hermit crabs. Since I was 12, I have taken care of my community members’ dogs of all sizes, cats of all temperaments, and small critters. The last 11 years, I’ve been primarily busy with grad school and taking care of my own 3 cats but recently my eldest crossed the rainbow bridge and I now work fully remotely, so have extra love and time to pour into your animals! I have experience with all ages and sizes of dogs. I can also administer medication. I work fully remotely, so have more flexibility to check in on your pets and walk your dogs! My weekends are generally free and I plan to be available over Thanksgiving and New Years. If I were to stay in your home to care for your dog, I would treat your home with the utmost respect and be able to keep the dog to his/her usual routine. I am comfortable with having your pup in my car if they like rides, need to go to the vet, or driven to a park. The same applies for kitty cats!

“Hailey was amazing! We left for a week and she took wonderful care of our two cats and our small dog at home. She stayed overnight, sent us updates and pictures every day, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She was extremely professional, reliable, and communicative throughout the entire stay. It was obvious our pets loved her. They looked happy and comfortable in every update, and when we got home, they seemed relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. She also treated our home with great respect. We highly recommend Hailey to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter, and we will absolutely be booking with her again in the future!”
“Nick is a fantastic dog sitter. He stayed with our Cockapoo for ten days. We received daily updates with pictures. She is an older dog so we like to have her stay home when we leave. Nick is the perfect person to stay with her. He also fixed our sound system while we were out. The house was left very clean. We highly recommend Nick!!”

“Samantha stayed with our dog Sadie in our home while we were out of town for four nights. She did an excellent job - it was clear Sadie was well cared for and enjoyed her time with Samantha. Samantha communicated with us throughout her stay and was a clean, thoughtful house guest. We were very pleased with Samantha and would highly recommend her.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Natick
Charlene took amazing care of our cats. We have always worried only having people pop in as one of cats is very shy. Charlene was incredibly communicative, took wonderful care of our two cats, and was a delight to work with. Our shy cat opened up and felt much more at ease having someone sleep over and care for her!

Isabella was a fantastic dog sitter! We have a new puppy which is a bit more complicated than an older dog….but Isabella handled all of our instructions with ease. She gave us great confidence in being away from the house, and we’ll definitely hire her again.
Every time we plan a vacation, we make sure to check whether Haley will be available to take care of our shepherd during those dates of our absence. She is very caring and reliable. We told our closest friends about our experience, and they asked us to give them a way to get in touch with Haley. We have only positive emotions from our side—and from our beloved dog as well.

Sonya was an incredibly kind, caring, trustworthy and responsible care giver for my dog [a 75 pound yellow lab] and my house. She was very easy to coordinate with and provided confidence that my dog would be well taken care of while we were away. Sonya sent up photos and updates throughout making our trip that much more enjoyable. Thank you Sonya - I would highly recommend her and can't wait to reach out to her again.

Lilit went above and beyond for my anxious little chihuahua, who ADORED her. She spent so much time with my animals and was in constant contact with videos and photos. She was an excellent sitter and immediately won over a pretty neurotic pup. Will definitely hire again!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Natick walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Natick maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Natick choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Natick. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
