“Ling & Ye took great care of our pup, Truffles for a weeklong boarding. Communication was great and we kept receiving updates. Truffles had a great time staying with the family and made some new friends.”

“We went on vacation for a week and Obi had a wonderful stay with Barbara and Jen. He stayed active and played with other dogs. Obi is sometimes a picky eater and they managed really well.”
“François was absolutely fantastic. He went over our routine with Atlas and took Atlas for multiple long walks - Atlas was in heaven. François kept us up-to-date on their activities together and was easy to communicate with!”

“Kim was wonderful with our dog Ziggy. She treated him as if he was part of her household! I received beautiful photos of him playing with her dog, her walks in the woods, and of him sleeping. I definitely recommend Kim. She has a caring way with her own dogs and my dog immediately seemed comfortable with her and them. Kim made me (and Ziggy) feel feel cared for!”

“Jennifer did an absolute amazing job with my big baby!! This was my first time leaving my pitbull with someone who’s not family or friends for a weekend. I was so nervous at first and Jennifer made me feel so comfortable with all of the updates over the weekend! I highly recommend her and can’t wait to use her again in the future! Top notch dog sitter”

“Coco had a great time with Su and enjoyed her vacation at his house. Su kept us updated daily and honestly I don’t think Coco wants to come home with us at the end of the week. “Andy did a great job caring for Wally! He was very communicative and sent lots of updates. Wally had lots of walks, playtime, and time spent relaxing—and came back home a very happy pup! I highly recommend Andy!”

“Hong was great with our energetic 14-month old pup, Archie! Hong took Archie for multiple walks in the woods and dog park visits each day, and sent us photos and videos. We could tell that Archie was having a great time, and that the experiences were very enriching. Archie can have anxiety around new people, especially men, but he really seemed to bond to Hong which was great to see. Archie was totally relaxed when we picked him up, and seemed just as happy to stay at Hong’s house as to get in the car. We cannot recommend Hong highly enough!”

“When we picked up our pup, you could tell her really enjoyed his time with Yulia and her family. He was happy to see us, but I'm pretty sure he would have been equally happy to stay with them. We will certainly be using Yulia's services again in the future.”

“We left our 1.5-year-old Sheltie with Betsy for a long weekend and she was fantastic! Betsy responded quickly to questions, took our notes/suggestions into account during the visit, and sent us updates/pictures throughout the visit. Our dog came home happy, sleepy, and of course healthy!”

“My first time on Rover and first time on an extended break w/o my pup, and I was not anxious, but very relieved to know that he was in such great care at Robert's family home. I received daily status updates with photos that made me glad to know that my pup felt comfortable being away from home. Robert & his family made this a 5-star experience and I 1000% recommend their services.”

“Whitney was so understanding and flexible when a large snowstorm impacted travel extending my pet’s stay. Her wonderful care for my pup means so much and let me concentrate on getting home safely. Thank you!”

“I can't even count the number of times we left Marvel with Jing! Jing truly loves our dog and treats her as her own. It is such a comfort to have Jing as our go-to dog sitter - we wholeheartedly recommend!”

“Kathy was so accommodating and responsive! And she sent pictures of Frankie all day long to keep us posted. It was Frankie’s first experience in a house with cats so we were a bit worried, but everything worked out great and all the animals lived in harmony. We will definitely book again!”

About: I have had a rescue cat for close to 7 years now and she is the light of my life! My experience rehabilitating her and helping her open up, as well as my experience caring for homeless cats in my neighborhood, has helped me learn how to better care for cats from different backgrounds with different needs. Not every cat is social and cuddly, but each cat deserves the best care, especially while their owners are away :)
“I recently hired Kathleen to look after my two cats while I was away, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! Kathleen was kind, professional, and clearly passionate about animals. She followed all of my instruction perfectly and provided updates during her daily visits, which helped put my mind at ease. Kathleen ensured my cats felt comfortable and cared for— they warmed up to her quickly!. My cats were happy and healthy when I returned from my trip. I would highly recommend Kathleen!”

“Marina was absolutely incredible to our cats! She was very attentive to detail, took notes on everything, and our cats loved her instantly. Her communication was top-notch, and she sent us a ton of amazing photos and updates that gave us complete peace of mind. It’s obvious she genuinely cared about our cats, and they felt it. We highly recommend Marina and will absolutely be booking her again in the future!”

“Kathryn was great! She was responsive and filled in for us sort of last minute when we had another sitter cancel. She has a lot of experience and was great with our cats.”

“Anna took a great care of my cat Ellie. She did everything I asked her to do and more! She swept the scattered litter around the house and also cleaned up after Ellie spit up her food. Anna was in contact with me and reachable at all times. She gave all the attention to my cat while I was away and cuddled and petted her so Ellie didn't feel alone. Anna was very flexible with the key drop off arrangements as well. Great job Anna! I will definitely be booking with Anna again whenever I need a pet sitter.”

“It was clear from our initial "meet-and-greet" that Carol was the best possible "drop-in" caregiver for our 14-year-old cat -- and we were right!. A pet owner herself, Carol is passionately committed to the pet care that she provides, and acutely aware of the importance of her care to her charges and their owners. Our cat needed oral medications, and Carol was experienced in administering those, and, most important, she gave our cat the attention and affection that he misses when we're away. I recommend Carol without hesitation!”

About: As a devoted cat mom, I bring patience, reliability, and strong attention to detail to every visit. I understand the importance of routines, trust, and noticing small changes in behavior. I provide attentive drop in care, including feeding, litter box maintenance, playtime, and detailed photo updates so you can feel confident your cat is safe and well cared for.

“Excellent as usual! This is the third time I’ve had Taylor come feed my cats and she’s always been wonderfully communicative, follows instructions, and really cares about the kitties. Can’t recommend enough!”

“Adelle was so great with Stevie. She worked with Stevie’s personality and gave her great care. She took lots of pics and sent helpful summaries of their time together. Thank you, Adelle!”

About: I've been taking care of my dear cat, Phil, since I was 13 years old and he was 8 weeks old. I can proudly say that he has grown up to be an amazing, well-behaved, and deeply affectionate companion through the enrichment I developed for him. I additionally have diligently been taking care of many of my neighbor's cats for close to half a decade as well.

“J. is a great house- and cat-sitter: very responsive and easy to coordinate with, sends lots of pictures, and clearly made both of my cats (even the more skittish one) feel comfortable/safe. J. also had no trouble handling one cat’s thrice-daily eye medication”

“It was pleasure to have Traci stay at my home! She made me feel really comfortable and followed all the Instructions given. She even looked after my Bonsai trees.”

About: I have two years of experience looking after dogs and cats. I work from home and have a flexible schedule to board and provide walks for pets. I currently work part time and am able to provide walks or board animals 7 days a week. I have a very flexible schedule throughout the week. I live in a spacious apartment with a nice park across the street to go for walks. I am also very respectful of other peoples spaces.
“Did a great job making sure our three cats were taken care of and fed while we were away! Would definitely recommend her if you need help with your fur babies and we would definitely rebook her services in the future if she is available!”

“Sandra did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of our shy kitty, Ramsey. She really made the effort to try to coax him out to get treats and play - and was successful, which is rare! It’s easy to write off our little Ramsey after he shows zero interest in interacting (most folks do) so we really appreciate the extra effort Sandra took with him. We haven’t been able to find a cat sitter able to connect with him for many years and we’re thrilled she was able to do so! It made our trip so much easier knowing our baby was in good hands (and not lonely) back home!”

“Clare did an amazing job with my two cats! She played with them, brushed them and made sure all the necessities were taken care of. I loved the photos with each report! Will definitely use her again!”

“Maegan is the best: dependable, kind, communicative, and very thorough. You should definitely hire Maegan if you're looking for the ultimate caregiver for your pets! We just returned from a two week international trip and Maegan did a fantastic job watching our two kitties while we were away. We recently started working with Maegan after our long-time sitter moved to a different state, and we are so thrilled! Maegan stopped by every day to check on them, tending to their needs and spending time with our social boys. We received an extremely detailed summary of each visit and loved seeing photos of them while we were traveling. Our two boys are already looking forward to your next visit, Maegan -- thank you!”

“Ismael is fantastic! He looked after our beagle for doggie daycare and she had a great time. He was very flexible, easy to work with and great communicator, would definitely do it again!”

“Ling & Ye took great care of our pup, Truffles! They sent a lot of photos throughout the day and kept us posted. They also took Truffles for multiple rounds of walks.”

“Adrienne provided greay doggy daycare for my two pomeranians while I had a business trip in the area. My little dogs were happy and tired upon pickup. They had fun in her yard and on their walk. Adrienne took great care of them. She obviously loves dogs.”

About: I have had dogs almost my entire life. I have been pet sitting on dog vacay and rover for the last several years , before my dog Dora passed away two years when she was 14 years of age. I stopped pet sitting , and was grieving for a while. I am now ready to get back to dog sitting , and want to experience joy of pets again, even if on a temporary basis. I have two children , 8 and 4, and they have been exposed to dogs and cats until recently . We want to have a chance to play with doggies again, and love them! At the moment I am unemployed, and home with my 4 year old. A dog would easily fit in our daily routine, as the dog parents require. I live in a condo association, on the third floor. I do not have a yard, but I will be able to walk your doggie.
“Vista had so much fun during daycare with Junho and Boki! Junho was very communicative of how Vista was doing, making sure she had everything she needed to enjoy her days, from her food, to play and outside time. It is clear that he truly loves dogs and I would recommend him to anyone looking for someone with a kind heart to care for their pet.”

“Bentley has stayed with Eddy in Doggy Day Care a couple of times and will be using him again without a doubt! He is our 1st puppy so we get nervous, but Eddy and his team communicate enough that we felt comfortable. Eddy and his team are great! You won't be disappointed if you give him a chance!!”

About: I'd love to welcome your dog into our family (with 2 kids, ages 9 and 12) for daytime visits or overnight stays. I am working primarily from home, my calm Beagle-Mini Pin mix Sarah—affectionately called "the meagle"—enjoys having canine companions! With a lifetime of dog ownership experience, I'll ensure your pet receives expert care and plenty of entertainment, including regular walks in our nearby park. Whether you need daytime hosting, walking services, or overnight care, I'm happy to help. I am working primarily from my home office, so I will be available to walk, play with, and keep your dog company throughout the day. I provide at least three daily walks on a nearby walking path, plus additional indoor and supervised backyard play time (on leash, as our yard is unfenced).
“Daisy had a great day with Stef! Stef met with us in advance to meet Daisy and learn about her daily routine and requirements. She made it very easy to drop Daisy off and pick her up and also sent a few pictures during the day. Stef took her out for three walks, one of them was a car ride away from Stef's home which was an adventure for Daisy. It was almost hard to get Daisy into the car as she didn't want to leave. Daisy was so tired that night and into the next day, but was very happy. We are looking forward to having Stef take care of her again!”

“Yi W. Was very responsive and took great care of Duke. She was also very open to my guidance about Duke’s needs and routine. She sent regular updates and photos. I recommend her and will take Duke back to her.”

“Sean is very attentive to our dog's needs and Bailey loves staying in his home. We have always used Sean for daycare when visiting the Boston area and he gives us great peace of mind knowing Bailey is having a fun day too. We highly recommend Sean as your sitter!”

“Very warm and kind sitter. She sent me lots of updates throughout the day, and made my dog feel very comfortable despite her high anxiety. I felt 100 percent at ease knowing Daisy was well cared for!”

“Five stars doesn’t feel like enough- I highly recommend Charlie! My dog’s excitement level goes through the roof when I say Charlie’s name. Charlie’s responsible, caring, fun, and shows a genuine love in caring for animals. I feel a real sense of comfort having such a kind and attentive sitter for my dog! I’m truly grateful!”

About: I am a recent college grad spending some time on my own, but greatly missing my pets! I have experience with all kinds of animals including medically complex pets, seniors, puppies, doodles and other hairy friends, and more! I am a part time intern working about 20 hours per week looking for some friends to fill my downtime. I can look after your animals any time of day with this flexibility. Good for weekdays and weekends! I follow a strict schedule with animals. Feeding routines, walks, treats, and training are all scheduled and followed to a T in my household. This makes it easy for me to apply these in other households.
About: I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and devoted cat mom. Caring for my own pet has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and attention to detail. I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines, and I strive to provide reliable, compassionate care. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. • Flexible availability on weekdays and weekends. • Morning, afternoon, and evening visits available. • Happy to accommodate your pet’s regular routine whenever possible. • Prompt communication throughout your booking. • Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. • I carefully follow feeding, medication, and care instructions. • Attentive to changes in behavior, routine, and wellbeing. • Regular updates and photos provided with every visit.
“Zander has walked our dog 8 times in the past 4 months, and has always done a good job. The very first time, I accidentally double-booked him with another walker, and they both graciously rearranged their schedules to fix the problem. Zander is a solid, no-fanfare guy who knows what’s important and doesn’t get distracted. For example, Zander alerted us to a problem with our dog’s poops, which turned out to be due to an intestinal parasite she picked up from the local wild rabbits living near our house. He’s always prepared, and keeps things on an even keel. I think he’s accepted every one of our booking requests, and we appreciate him in all respects.”

“Julia was great! Totally reliable, pleasant and kind. Our dog can be wary around new people, but he warmed up to her just about instantly. She knows how to work with “nervous” mutts. I’ll definitely request her again if I need a dog walker.”

About: I’ve been around dogs for over a decade—starting with my family dog and now as the owner of a rescue dog of my own. Most of my experience has been with smaller dogs (25 lbs or less), but I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I regularly walk my dog around Newton and Cold Spring Park, and I’m familiar with local dog parks (both fenced and off-leash). I prioritize safe, attentive walks and make sure each dog gets plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection—whether that’s playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and administering oral medication, and I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and gentle care. As a Rover user myself, I know how important trust and communication are. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while your pet is in my care. I’m a great fit for busy working professionals and families who need reliable, thoughtful support, as well as for senior dogs or lower-energy pets who benefit from a calm, consistent environment. To ensure the highest level of attention and comfort, I care for one dog or cat at a time. I work from home most days, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m available for drop-in visits or walks around lunchtime, and again in the late afternoon and evening after the kids are done with school or camp. I enjoy building time into my day to give pets the attention, consistency, and care they need—and making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I approach pet care with a strong focus on safety, consistency, and trust. I always take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any specific needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and comfortable for them. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and follow all instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walking routines, medications, or favorite activities. I’m attentive on walks (leash safety, awareness of surroundings) and make sure pets are secure at all times. In my home, pets are cared for in a calm, clean, and supervised environment. I’m mindful of creating a safe space and ensuring pets feel at ease. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: I've loved dogs my whole life and grew up caring for two of my own. I fed them, bathed them, took them on walks and park trips, traveled with them, and handled vet visits and meds. As I got older, friends began asking me to watch their dogs, and those jobs always turned into repeat invitations, which I take as a great compliment. For the past six months, I've volunteered walking dogs at a senior living community, which has taught me to be patient, gentle, and attentive to each dog's unique needs. I follow whatever routines or priorities an owner has, and make sure every dog gets the love, activity, and safety they deserve. I'd be excited to meet you and your pup to see if I can be of help! I'm currently doing school online, so have a lot of flexibility with my schedule! I share a car with my husband so my availability can be flexible with sufficient heads-up. I'm an early-bird so any time really works for me! When caring for your dog in your home, I treat your space with the same respect I'd want for my own. I'm there to focus on your pet's needs, follow your routines, and keep everything running smoothly. I stay focused on what I'm there to do, giving your dog responsible care and making sure they get what they need.

About: Hi, I’m Sabrina! I’ve been caring for pets for 8 years, and nothing makes me happier than getting to know each animal’s unique personality. I work with both dogs and cats and have experience with everything from tiny puppies to slow‑moving seniors, from shy kitties to big, energetic dogs. I grew up in a family that owned two Shar‑Peis, so I’m very comfortable with stubborn, reactive, or strong‑willed breeds. I understand body language, thresholds, and how to build trust with pets who need a little extra patience. Whether your dog is still learning manners or your cat prefers a quiet observer, I meet every animal where they are. I currently have a very open schedule, so pet care fits easily into my day. I’m home most of the time and can adjust to your pet’s routine, whether you need morning, midday, or evening visits. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay relaxed in a familiar space. I follow your routines exactly, keep your home secure, and double‑check doors and gates before leaving. I’m respectful of your space and send updates so you always know your pet is safe and comfortable.
“Kathleen walked our 2 dogs while we were away on vacation--we are so grateful! Our dogs are sometimes territorial and slow to warm up to new people but they love Kathleen. She has such a nice way with them!”

About: I have never owned a dog myself, but I have always taken care of my friend’s dogs when they go out somewhere. I also like to know what your dogs like before I take them anywhere, so I can plan ahead on what to do! If you would like to know more about me, let me know! I currently work at an office job, so I am mostly available on the weekends. There are some days in which I can be flexible when house sitting, but it depends on my schedule! If the house sitting is through the weekdays, then I will be able to do so, but I will be out of the house for 7-8 hours. I work from home on Monday and Friday, so I can be more consistent in giving breaks. I make sure that I double check everything around me for safety for the dog and myself. I try to have a schedule with the dogs and make sure that they have everything that they need.
About: I am a social worker for humans professionally but apply the same kind of all encompassing empathy and love for dogs. I haven't had a dog of my own yet, but I've lived with and cared for many dogs over the last several years, and I’m an auntie to many close friends’ pups. Just waiting until I can be a full-time pet mom before I get a pup of my own. I can commute to you by car or public transportation. I am happy to have your dog be in my car. I just want to go on adventures in the outdoors and explore with your pup! I will love him or her as my own. Hope to hear from you soon! While I am taking care of your pet, I will be very attentive to their needs and involve them in my day as much as possible! Will spend majority of my time with your pet. I will be on top of all of their feeding, toileting, exercising and socializing needs. They are my #1 priority! I recently started my own psychotherapy practice and I work Tuesday-Friday. I go into my office most days but can alter that as needed for pet sitting. On Saturdays, Sunday’s and Mondays- your fur babies will have my undivided attention! I don’t have a fenced yard but I live near many dog parks where I could take your pup. I live in an apartment building but it’s rather small, with only 6 units total, and it’s pretty quiet with very little foot traffic. I’m happy to do whatever is necessary for caring for your pets, whether it’s in my home or yours!
“I highly recommend Ani for anyone seeking a dedicated and caring dog walker! Ani was professional and genuine. She provided excellent walks for Olive, with daily updates. Her flexibility as much appreciated.”

“Claudia was great with our dog who is very anxious by nature. She was on time and very responsible in communication with me through Rover. I felt great peace of mind knowing our dog was walked and well taken care of while we had a couple of long days at work. Highly recommend!”

About: I've been doing pet care since I was 8 and have lots of experience with animals of all ages and personalities. Typical animal care from me looks like refilling food and water, walks, cleaning litter boxes, and finding creative ways to keep your animals thoroughly entertained. This summer I'm taking online college classes so my schedule is super flexible. The only set times I'll be busy doing virtual classes are from 11:00-4:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please let me know what times work for you. I will always make sure to keep your dogs on leashes when not in fenced in areas to ensure your pup's safety is accounted for.
About: Here to help animals get those hard to reach itchy spots. I love all animals and enjoy the different types of attitudes and demeanors each one brings. I have had many pets and worked in shelters before so Ive seen animals in all their forms. I work at the office Monday thru Friday 8-4. I however have a lot of flexibility with those hours and location depending on the type of care being sought. I follow the rules and guidance of the owner as closely as possible. They know their pet and how to most safely and compassionately care for them.

“Ling & Ye took great care of our pup, Truffles for a weeklong boarding. Communication was great and we kept receiving updates. Truffles had a great time staying with the family and made some new friends.”

“Kira and Steve are the best- Winston always has a great time and comes home happy and sleepy! They are true dog lovers and take great care to make sure you always know how your dog is doing. Thank you!”

“Coco had a great time with Su and enjoyed her vacation at his house. Su kept us updated daily and honestly I don’t think Coco wants to come home with us at the end of the week. Su is totally trust worthy and easy to work with. I won’t be looking for any other sitter to leave my daughter with but him! Thank you for being so loving and caring to Coco!”

“Julie did an amazing job taking care of our cat, Cal! He is usually shy and fearful of strangers, but she was incredibly patient with him and soon coaxed him out of his shell. Julie also did a great job of sending us a constant stream of pictures and updates. I highly recommend her!”

“Kathy was so accommodating and responsive! And she sent pictures of Frankie all day long to keep us posted. It was Frankie’s first experience in a house with cats so we were a bit worried, but everything worked out great and all the animals lived in harmony. We will definitely book again!”

“We had an excellent experience with Pamela and Yocheved! Very kind people. It was also a plus that they have a fenced-in back yard. Their older lab, Jennifer, is the sweetest angel, too. We did a “play date” prior to our booking and our dogs got along great. We will definitely be rebooking again in the future!”

“Eddy and his amazing team were absolutely amazing with my three Aussies! I left them with him from Thursday through Sunday while I was out of town, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very start, Eddy was so communicative and reassuring — he asked thoughtful questions about each of their routines and personalities, which immediately made me feel comfortable and confident that they were in great hands. Two of them require medication administration which is always stressful to relay to a sitter- but Eddy was on it! Throughout the stay, Eddy sent many updates, photos, and videos that showed my pups running, playing, and relaxing like they were right at home. It was so clear that they were having the best time — happy, well cared for, and loved. It made it so much easier for me to actually enjoy my trip knowing they were being treated like family. When I picked them up, they looked amazing — tired from all the fun, healthy, and clearly bonded to Eddy and his team. Honestly, I think they were a little sad to leave! It’s obvious he truly loves what he does and goes above and beyond to make every dog feel safe and happy. Eddy is an animal lover, amazing with dogs and cats, and is COMPETENT in his work. I can’t recommend Eddy highly enough. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and experienced with energetic dogs like Aussies, he’s the one to call. We’re already booked with Eddy and his amazing team for our next time out of town.”

“Kevin was an incredible Rover sitter to board my dog with. He accommodated us last minute and had more organized systems than anyone I've ever boarded with on this site. He sent detailed reports every day about my dog's day with great pictures - I was showing these reports to everyone I was with for my entire trip! I could tell my Meri was in good hands with him. She was exhausted after I picked her up - always a good sign. And his dog is very quirky and sweet. They have a good setup lifestyle and house-wise. Definitely recommend Kevin as an intentional and detail-oriented dog walker.”

“Gina was EXCELLENT with Maisy! Our fluffy girl is a bit of a princess and Gina was so patient with her. She sent us photo updates and gave her plenty of enrichment and cuddles while we were gone for our 5 day trip. 100% will book her again!”

“Michelle took great care of our high maintenance English bulldog while we were away for a week! Due to his breed, he requires quite a bit of extra attention and Michelle went above and beyond!”

“Liz & Rodrigo are incredible people, with an incredible family full of love to give! We were a bit nervous having someone board our newly adopted rescue Beagle, but they did an amazing job! They sent so many updates and photos while I was gone, I never once had to worry how they were doing! They were both accommodating of both our pup’s needs and I can tell our pups would love to go back whenever we need a sitter!”
