“Thank you for looking after our dogs! Ling and Ye sent lots of photos of our two midsize labradoodles on walks and getting cuddles during their stay. And they came home calm and relaxed afterwards - a sign that they were happy while during their stay. Our dogs can get nervous around large male dogs, but their dog Brody (large labradoodle) is a gentle giant who immediately got on with our dogs, but also gave them their own space. We appreciate Ling and Ye's kindness towards our dogs!”

“Su is the absolute best! We had him care for our 10 year old Husky for 2 weeks and he was so great about updates, walks, food, treats, and play time. We also couldn’t pick him up on the scheduled date and Su was so helpful and flexible to keep him an extra night. We are so grateful and highly recommend Su. We look forward to the future stays!”

“Jing is amazing. We had such a wonderful experience with her and her delightful family. I was comfortable from the minute we got there for drop off and never worried for a second the entire weekend. Jing sent a ton of really cute pictures throughout our stay with her and she was very communicative. I would use her again is a second!”

“We had great experience with Nalix dog sitting our 14 year old Shitzu. Nalix took great care of our dog, keeping daily communication and pictures. She even put booties on her when it snowed so she’d feel more comfortable going on walks. We highly recommend Nalix for your next vacation.”

“Wonderful first overnight with Kira - couldn't have been a better experience! She and her husband are lovely, very experienced and clearly know what they are doing. Their home is well set up to care for pups - ours loved to explore their fenced in yard. Communication was terrific, the pictures were great and reassuring to us as protective pet parents. Our boxer came home happy and seemed to enjoy his sleepover with his new friends. We're booking again right away.”

About: I grew up surrounded by pets. Both my neighbor and my grandma had cats that loved to explore the outdoors, so I spent many summer days playing and exploring with them. During quarantine, my cousin got an Australian Cobberdog named Rosie. When they were away, I would frequently volunteer to be the one in charge of caring for her. In recent years, when my friends were away they would trust me to walk and take care of their pets. Over the years I have gained a lot of experience caring for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes, and am so excited to meet your pet! During the months of May-August I am situated in Newton MA. During the months of September-April, I split my time between Amherst MA where I go to school at UMass and Newton. I think pet care is a two way street. I can only provide my best care if I know your pets needs. I preform my best when I know everything I need to know about your pet.

“Ari was fantastic with my kitties! My cats both need oral medication every morning so I was a bit worried to leave them, but Ari took great care of them. “Great cat sitter. Nadine was highly reliable and was able to care for our elderly cat. She made it a breeze to train her on the cat's med schedule and quirky nature. Highly recommend.”

About: Cats have been an important part of my life since childhood, giving me the opportunity to learn how to care for them from an early age. What I love most about cats is their unique way of connecting with people and expressing their emotions. I like to think of myself as a "cat whisperer"—someone who understands their quiet, subtle language and knows how to communicate with them in a way that makes them feel comfortable, safe, and engaged.

“Stephanie did daily drop in visit for a week for our cat, Fish. She gave him daily pill at certain time every day, cleaned his water bowls, and checked on his litter box. She also shared many photos and videos, which we appreciated. She was friendly and gentle with him and he was very happy to have her around. We could not be happier with her care. We will be booking her again when we go out of town. Thank you!”

“Asmahan has been great! She was very understanding that our anxious dog takes a few visits to warm up to new people. She was patient and had great instincts with our pup. We are looking forward to continuing to hire her in the future!”

About: I’ve had cats since I was born and grew up taking care of them from the ages of kittens to senior kitties. “Amazing with cats. She wrote very clear updates on how the visits went and was easy to communicate with. My senior cat loved her and she obviously really cares about cats. It was nice to spend the vacation without having to worry about the cats. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to friends with cats.”

“Bobbi was an amazing sitter for our dog, Callie! We loved getting all the updates and pictures while we were gone and truly appreciate the love and care that Bobbi gave to her. We ended up crossing paths with Bobbi when we got home on the last night, and we could just see how much Callie already loved her! Bobbi is extremely friendly and will spend a lot of time making sure your dog isn't restless and that your dog feels lots of love! We will definitely book Bobbi again in the future. If you're looking for a Rover that will treat your dog better than even you while you are gone, don't hesitate to book Bobbi!”

About: A lot of my experience comes from caring for my girlfriend's two dogs, who are basically my two best friends—a Japanese Chin and a Lhasa-Poo. Whenever her parents are out of town, I'm usually the one taking care of them. We've even watched them for weeks at a time while their family was traveling, so I'm comfortable with everything from feeding and walks to playtime, keeping them on their routine, and making sure they get plenty of attention. I've also known our Lhasa-Poo since she was a puppy. When she first came home, my girlfriend and I spent that entire first week with her, helping her adjust to a new environment, keeping her company at night, and making sure she felt safe and comfortable. More than anything, I'm just a huge dog lover. Whenever I go back home to India, I spend a lot of my time hanging out with the neighborhood stray dogs. They've become part of my visits home. I know every dog is different, and my goal is always to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I'll care for your dog the same way I care for the dogs in my own life: with lots of attention, affection, and plenty of updates so you know they're doing well. I work from home, so I'm around throughout the day and have a very flexible schedule. That means I can take dogs out for regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and make sure they're never left alone for long. I love staying active, so I'm always happy to fit in extra walks or outdoor time if your pup enjoys it. I also welcome boarding on most weekends, unless I'm out of town, which isn't very often. My goal is to make sure your dog feels comfortable, gets plenty of attention, and sticks to their normal routine while you're away. I live in a very dog-friendly apartment, and I'm very used to sharing my space with dogs. I help care for my girlfriend's two pups regularly, so having dogs around the house is something I'm completely comfortable with. In my home, dogs are welcome to roam freely and make themselves at home—they're welcome on the couch and in any room unless you have different rules you'd like me to follow. I know every dog has their own routine, so I'm happy to stick to whatever they're used to, whether that's crate training, scheduled feeding times, or specific walking routines. Once again, my goal is to make your dog feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you're away.

“Ismael is fantastic! He looked after our beagle for doggie daycare and she had a great time. He was very flexible, easy to work with and great communicator, would definitely do it again!”

“Willow loved her time with Suzanne. Suzanne did a meet-and-greet in advance with us to learn about Willow. Then they spent their walking and playing and Willow was happy to come back and see Suzanne again!”

I am working primarily from home, my calm Beagle-Mini Pin mix Sarah—affectionately called "the meagle"—enjoys having canine companions! With a lifetime of dog ownership experience, I'll ensure your pet receives expert care and plenty of entertainment, including regular walks in our nearby park. Whether you need daytime hosting, walking services, or overnight care, I'm happy to help. I am working primarily from my home office, so I will be available to walk, play with, and keep your dog company throughout the day. I provide at least three daily walks on a nearby walking path, plus additional indoor and supervised backyard play time (on leash, as our yard is unfenced).
“Su L is a great caregiver. From the start he was very communicative. His home is very comfortable and he even has supplies such as water bowl and dog bed. He has a calm demeanor and our girl Mila immediately felt very comfortable. He sent loads of updates showing her on a walk and in his yard and lounging in the home. I highly recommend him! Thanks Su we appreciate the great care you providing for Mila.”

About: Hi! I’m Allison, and I’m a rising junior at Cornell University studying Animal Science on the Pre-Veterinary track. My experience includes volunteering at a therapeutic riding center, working with farm animals, and spending time at a Fear Free certified veterinary practice. Through those experiences, I’ve learned how to read animal body language and help pets feel more comfortable in unfamiliar situations. I have a dog of my own, Percy, so I understand how much trust goes into leaving your pet with someone else. I enjoy getting to know each pet and figuring out what helps them feel comfortable. I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely and make sure you receive updates while you’re away! I’m home from university for the summer, which gives me a pretty flexible schedule! I’m available most days and can work around your pet’s routine, whether that means walks or drop in visits. I’ll be in the area through mid-August and can usually accommodate weekday and weekend requests. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different temperaments and energy levels. Through my experience in animal care and at a Fear Free certified veterinary practice, I’ve learned how to read body language and recognize when a pet may be feeling stressed or uncomfortable. I always follow instructions closely and take the time to make sure each pet feels comfortable in my care. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: Along with growing up with two dogs and helping to raise a puppy as a teenager, family friends and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats since I was ten. I've worked with all types of dogs, from Shih Tzus to Pit Bull mixes. I'm the one in my family who takes the dogs out on long hikes (or for short walks around the block once they get older), brushes their teeth and fur, gives them baths, and trims their nails. I'm a regular volunteer at cat shelters in cat care, and as a student on the pre-veterinary track, I have shadowed and volunteered at vet clinics to better understand the care that goes into your pets' health. Besides dogs and cats, I also have experience with a myriad of animals, such as hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, mice, fish, hermit crabs, geckos, snakes, tortoises, and turtles. I have experience in preparing special diets for pets and other animals with specific health needs, and in senior dog care. Over the summer, I work at my internships in animal care for much of the work day, but that leaves afternoons, evenings, and early mornings for me to check in on your pets and give any care they need (breakfast/dinner, walks, baths, etc.). Over the school year, I will have more hours available to fit in more time with your pets (i.e. walking and bathing/grooming, more playtime, etc.). As a lover of all creatures, I take the safety of both pets and wildlife seriously. As such, I will always supervise pets that are outside in yards and keep them on leashes outside fenced-off areas so they are not a danger to others or themselves. If transporting pets in my car, I will keep them safe and secure in a carrier/crate. As a college student who has shared living spaces with new people before, I understand the importance of respecting others' belongings and boundaries. During drop-in visits, I will be sure to respect your home and any rules you may have for your comfort (i.e. no shoes in the house, specific dishes/silverware for pets only, general cleanliness, etc.).
“Jana has been fantastic with my elderly dog! She has been very reliable about coming at our agreed-upon time on my one long day away from the house. She gives my elderly dog her meal and takes her for a nice walk around the neighborhood. Jana sends cute photos and summaries of her visit which allow me to feel confident that my girl is being well looked after!”

“Alissa is an amazing dog walker. We deeply appreciate how reliable and consistent she is, and how well she manages our dog with reactivity. She always comes on time and has been mindful of the summer heat when going on walks. Alissa has been an absolute asset to our family and we are wicked lucky to have her!!”

“Su was absolutely wonderful with Giro. Giro, that is usually poo shy with new people very quickly felt very comfortable 😃 which is a wonderful sign. Thank you Su! We would definitely love to have you walk Giro again”

About: I’ve been caring for pets and animals since as far back as I can remember! Once I got my very own pets (a dog and two cats) outside of my family home, it became a whole new world of understanding what it takes to train and care for fur babies. My sweet Aussie, Poppy, like most, is high-energy and anxious, but getting her at just 8 weeks old gave me the opportunity to dive into the world of dog behaviorism and training. She has come leaps and bounds from the over-excited, reactive pup she was, and the work that goes into helping a dog feel more calm and confident in the world means a lot to me. I've worked with dog trainers and have researched for countless hours to understand how and why dogs and cats behave the way they do to give my own the best lives possible, and I would love to take the same care with your own fur baby! I have a flexible WFH schedule on Mondays and Thursdays, as well as weekend availability, that gives me the opportunity to fit in extra walks / visits with new fur babies! I'm comfortable administering medication, crating dogs, cleaning litter boxes, etc. as needed! If it has to do with the day-to-day for cats or dogs, it's all good with me! I do appreciate detailed instructions to make sure that I take the best possible care to follow the routines you already have in place with your pets :)
“Julia was great! Totally reliable, pleasant and kind. Our dog can be wary around new people, but he warmed up to her just about instantly. She knows how to work with “nervous” mutts. I’ll definitely request her again if I need a dog walker.”

“Sarah was awesome at accommodating a last min walk and was so sweet with my pup. She asked great questions and was nice enough to leave out fresh water for my dog when she left. We look forward to having Sarah help again soon!”

“Leanne has been my cat's sitter many times and now she's taken care of my friend's high-energy golden retriever Larry! Larry was so happy and cared for. Leanne is the best sitter!”

“Eliza is excellent! She has a sincere love of animals, and quickly developed a rapport with our terrier Henry. Eliza communicates clearly and responsively, and tailors Henry’s walk according to any special instructions we give her. She always sends a report card with info about the walk afterward and a snapshot showing Henry at some point in the walk. Although we’ve set up a regular walking schedule with Eliza, she also is flexible when she can be, covering additional walks or schedule changes. We highly recommend Eliza for your pet care needs!”

“Claudia was great with our dog who is very anxious by nature. She was on time and very responsible in communication with me through Rover. I felt great peace of mind knowing our dog was walked and well taken care of while we had a couple of long days at work. Highly recommend!”

“Laura has been excellent with Buddy! I can tell he looks forward to his adventures with her. Every walk I get photos of Buddy living his best life exploring his favorite spots with Laura. Laura’s communication is great and she’s been a reliable walker for the last few months. Thanks Laura!”

“Scout had a great first week with Aaron - she seemed happy with the walks and very comfortable with him. From the human side, he's a good and responsive communicator, and responsible around scheduling and closing up the house. He clearly loves dogs and has a good way with them. Thumbs up!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was 5 years old. When I was 12, my grandparents could no longer take care of their 3 crazy Weimaraners so we welcomed them into our family of pets for a grand total of 4 dogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs and 2 hermit crabs. I’ve loved animals since as long as I can remember and have taken care of dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages and attitudes over the years. I hope I can add some joy to your pup’s day, the way they add joy to mine! I’m currently pursing a masters degree in data science, but I have the summer off, so I have a lot of flexibility throughout the week to take care of your pets! I am responsible, clean, and maybe overly attentive. I will do my absolute best to take care of your pet and your home. If your pet comes to my home, I will make sure they are in a safe, loving environment.
“Tanya did a great job taking our boxer Nala on daily afternoon walks. She was great at communicating any changes in her schedule with me, flexible to meet my needs to care for Nala, and always polite and professional. Thank you so much for you help Tanya!

“Wanda seemed really kind and caring from the second Koda met her! She took care of him for a week while we were on vacation and it seems like he had a great time playing with Wanda’s pup, Casey. It would be nice if Wanda provided more daily updates, I had to ask a few times to see how he was doing. Overall, Wanda seems like a very kind and reliable sitter.”

“Zelun was so good with our dog. We will definitely be using zelun in the future. He sent lots of photos and had great communication. He also brought Iggy on many adventures each day like the park and nice walks!”
“Outstanding experience with Sarah, Chris and their family. Duke is an active 5 month old GSD who loved his time in Dedham. Sarah's communication and overall professionalism was superior. Highly recommend.”

“Alan and Ying are beyond attentive, made us feel very comfortable and confident when leaving our pup with them. Great communication across the board!”

“Francois took great care of Walter while I was on vacation. I particularly enjoyed the daily photos of their walks in the woods, it put my mind at ease that he was receiving the best care. He seemed very happy upon his return!”

“Alanis and her husband took great care of Leo. He really had a great time with them! Alanis was very communicative and sent me lots of pictures. I highly recommend Alanis for all your pet sitting needs!”

“My 5 year old Lab, Lily, stayed for Jen and Robert and their kids for 2 weeks while I was traveling. Not only they treated Lily as she is their own dog, they sent me daily updates and photos of Lily. I would recommend trusting them with your fur babies.”

“Allie is the best of the best. Our sweet Sandy ate a small starfish ornament the day before we dropped her off. I was scared to leave her but couldn’t have left her in better hands. Allie sent me photos and detailed updates, always promptly, multiple times a day. Thank you, Allie, for always taking such good care of our girl!”

“My GSD Kona had a great time while boarding with Eddy, she was well taken care of, I got pictures and videos all throughout the day. The pickup and drop-off provided was an amazing amenity provided.”

“Dana and Nia were very warm and welcoming upon meeting during drop-off. They provided daily updates, including Layla's well-being, how she settled right in and warmed up to them. When I picked Layla up from their house, it was abundantly clear how well cared for and happy she was. I would absolutely reccomend them for your dogsitting needs in the future.”

“Marissa was amazing with my playful adolescent pup! This was my first time using Rover, and she met with me ahead of time and answered all my questions to help me feel comfortable. She was flexible and a good communicator, and sent lots of photos. My dog came home tired and happy!”

“I couldn’t have asked for better people to take care of my boy! He had the best time, made all the furry friends and all of the love! Jess sent me regular updates and photos of him all cuddled up and happy!”
