Chantel was a treasure! She took in Sunny at a short notice and showed her such a lovely time. Chantel provided so many amenities, games and treats, Sunny was utmost cared for and entertained the entire time. Thank you, Chantel, and we will be coming back!

Chantel was amazing! She took great care of my cat, Tookie. She got snacks, sent several pictures, and treated him like he was her own. When I got Tookie back I could tell he was taken care of because he attitudes were better, he was well brushed, and he was happy. I can’t recommend Chantel enough, definitely hire her!

Could not ask for a better sitter! My cat stayed with Chantel for ~9 days and was happy as ever when I picked him up. Chantel was kind, communicative, and flexible during pick-up and drop off. She has a beautiful home and is very knowledgeable about cat health, behavior, and care. When I dropped him off, she showed me all of the toys, tunnels, trees, etc. he would have access to, made sure I was comfortable with his feeding and drinking areas, noted the ways she helps/lets her guests adjust and get comfortable in her home and with her, etc. All throughout, she sent lots of pictures and videos to keep me updated, and spent lots of quality time with my little guy. At pick-up, she went over detailed notes she had taken over the stay about his behavior, adjustment to her home, eating habits, potential concerns, and more. She also made sure his litter box was clean and all of his supplies were ready to go when I got there. I had never hired a cat sitter before and was unsure about leaving my cat in someone else's home, but could not have found a better person to trust with the task, and absolutely hope Chantel is available the next time I go out of town. I cannot express how nice it was to know my guy was safe, comfortable, and well cared for during my vacation (truly I think it was a lovely vacation for him too)!

Chantel gave wonderful care for our cat at her home during a week of vacation. Our cat is older and needed twice-daily insulin injections to manage her diabetes, but Chantel did a wonderful job of making her at home and ensuring she was healthy and happy throughout her stay. She had everything she needed on hand--litter boxes, beds, food and water bowls, all immaculately cleaned--and she also sent us daily photos of our cat in her home, exploring the space and lounging in the sunlight. We felt completely confident in boarding our cat with her, and will be sure to do so again in the future!

I highly recommend Chantel. She has an incredible heart for dogs, and it truly shows in the love and care she gives. My dog absolutely lights up and wags his tail every time he sees her—he’s loved her since he was a puppy! Her home is clean, calm, and completely dog-friendly. I always have total peace of mind when my dog is with her.

Safety, trust & environment

🐕🐕‍🦺🐈🐩🦮🐈‍⬛🐕🐕‍🦺🐈🐩🦮🐈‍⬛🐕🐕‍🦺🐈🐩🦮 My Philosophy: Security First, Comfort Always I believe a safe environment is the foundation of a happy pet. Whether I am welcoming your pet into my home or caring for them in yours, I apply a "concierge-level" safety protocol to ensure every stay is stress-free and secure. 🐩🐈 In My Home (Boarding & Daycare) My home in the 02114 area is designed to be a low-stress sanctuary. 🐩🐈 • Pet-Proofed Comfort: I maintain a "comfort-driven" space using pet-safe, non-toxic cleaners and calming essentials. 🐕 • Constant Supervision: As I work from home, your pet will never be left unattended. I maintain a strict "no-roam" policy when I am not in the room to prevent any accidents. 🐈 • Controlled Socialization: I only host one family's pets at a time to ensure personalized attention and avoid the unpredictability of "pack" dynamics. 🐕‍🦺 • Secure Transitions: I use a "double-leash" technique for all dog walking excursions to the local parks, ensuring total control and safety at all times. 🐩🐈 In Your Home (Drop-Ins & House Sitting) When I visit your home, I act as a respectful guardian of both your pet and your property. 🐩🐈 • Routine Consistency: I follow your exact household "rules," including off-limit furniture and specific feeding rituals, to minimize your pet's separation anxiety. 🐕 • Smart-Home Savvy: I am fully comfortable managing security systems, cameras, and automated feeding tech to keep your home secure. 🐈‍⬛ • Health Monitoring: I keep a sharp eye on animal body language and "wellness cues." You’ll receive a detailed Rover Card update after every visit, including appetite, energy levels, and bathroom breaks. 🐩 Building Trust Through Transparency • Photo & Video Updates: You will receive high-quality snapshots of your pet’s adventures so you can see their personality shining through. 🐈 • Emergency Preparedness: I keep a digital file of your emergency vet information and the nearest 24-hour animal hospital for immediate action if needed. 🦮 • Open Channel: I am highly responsive and available via the Rover app for quick check-ins whenever you need that extra peace of m

A typical day

🐕🐕‍🦺🐈🐩🦮🐈‍⬛🐕🐕‍🦺🐈🐩🦮🐈‍⬛🐕🐕‍🦺🐈🐩🦮 A typical day for pets in my care starts with: 🐩🐈 A warm welcome and a morning walk or stretch. Mid-morning includes playtime, interactive toys, or a stroll around the neighborhood, followed by a cozy rest period. 🐕‍🦺 Afternoons are filled with more play, cuddles, or social time, and the day ends with dinner (if boarding) and a calm wind-down to ensure pets are relaxed and happy. 🐈 Pets also enjoy fun extras like puzzle toys, tug-of-war, grooming, and even cute photo sessions. I personalize activities to match each pet’s personality and energy level. 🐩 I’m committed to treating every pet like family, providing a safe, engaging, and loving environment. Owners can relax knowing their furry friends are happy, cared for, and in capable hands throughout the day and overnight.

🐕🐕‍🦺🐈🐩🦮🐈‍⬛🐕🐕‍🦺🐈🐩🦮🐈‍⬛🐕🐕‍🦺🐈🐩🦮 As a provider of "Extra Care" in the North End, I believe that the best pet sitting starts with a deep understanding of your pet’s unique personality and health needs. Before our first Meet & Greet, I prioritize gathering a full "Pet Profile" to ensure a seamless transition and total peace of mind for you. What I Need to Know (My Pre-Sitting Checklist): • Health & Medical: I stay proactive regarding vaccination status, specific medication dosages, and any food allergies or environmental sensitivities. • Behavioral Triggers: To ensure a stress-free environment, I ask about "triggers" like thunder, doorbells, or leash reactivity. Knowing their temperament helps me provide the best dog walking or cat sitting experience possible. • Dietary Precision: Whether your pet is on a strict raw diet, requires specialized feline nutrition, or prefers "free-feeding," I follow your exact portions and timing to avoid any digestive upset. • House Rules & Safety: I want to know your pet’s favorite hiding spots, their "off-limits" furniture, and your emergency vet contact info. My goal is to be a consistent, reliable extension of your own care.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
