About: I have experience taking care of dogs since high school and currently live with one right now! My goal is to keep them safe, comfortable, and happy. I work full time, so I’m mostly available on the weekends to dog sit and walk! On weekdays, I can be available for some walks in the evenings. There’s a dog park next to my apartment and many parks in the vicinity that are good for walks. Lots of pets, cuddles, and attention will be given to your pet. I also enjoy taking cute pictures of pets I sit as a little token:)

“Brooke is a lifesaver for us! We had an unexpected family trip and we needed someone to house-sit with our Basset Hound for a weekend. Our dog has glaucoma, and so is blind. And she has had some back surgery in recent months that require careful attention to detail in terms of not stressing out the dog's back (no jumping, no falling, no big missteps on stairs, etc.). The combination can leave some to feel intimidated about her care. Brooke jumped right in and helped. She showed up about an hour early to do a walk through of our place and to do some practice walking of our dog and to understand feeding, meds, and the like. She bonded immediately with our dog and it was clear she was comfortable with her. While we were away, Brooke sent many photos and notes just to reassure us. Our dog was doing her usual stuff, which meant she was relaxed and enjoyed Brooke's company. Brooke waiting until we were back in our place to give us a final report before she headed out. We would highly recommend Brooke for house-sitting / dog-sitting, even in some complicated circumstances.”

About: Growing up, I always had a soft spot for dogs, but since my dad is allergic, I never got to have one of my own. I make sure they get plenty of exercise through walks and playtime, stick to their regular feeding schedule, and always have fresh water available. I pay close attention to each dog's individual personality and needs, some want lots of active play, others just want a calm lap to curl up on, and I adjust accordingly. I live alone in a large, pet-friendly apartment, so your dog gets my full, undivided attention with no other pets or people to compete for it. One of the best perks: I have access to a huge fenced in rooftop, perfect for safe, off-leash running and play, a real treat for dogs who have lots of energy to burn. I also live across from a park with a big grass area. For walks and drop-in visits at a client's home, I follow whatever routine and instructions the owner provides, feeding times, medication, favorite walking routes, or specific commands, to keep things as consistent as possible for the dog.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life! I grew up in Newburyport caring for and walking my own dogs, while also regularly walking dogs throughout my neighborhood. In college, I took my love for dogs to a professional level and worked at a dog daycare for two years, where I cared for and walked up to 50 dogs in a day. That experience taught me how to handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, energy levels, and personalities, from playful pups who want to run and explore to dogs who prefer a slower, more relaxed stroll.
