About: While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to caring for pets. I’ve had two cats for the past 4 years and have pet sat for friends and family when they’ve needed help. I’m reliable, responsible, and happy to follow whatever routine and instructions help you and your pet feel most comfortable. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention and care, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax while you’re away. I work full-time (6am-2pm) as a scientist, so I’m generally available for afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. My schedule can be flexible though to accommodate for early morning visits. I’ll always be upfront about my availability and make sure I can give your pet the time and attention they need before accepting a booking. I use Rover myself so I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet and entering your home. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully, keep your home clean and secure, and make sure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable until you’re back. I’ll also send plenty of updates and photos so you never have to wonder how they’re doing.

About: I grew up with dogs since I was 5 years old, from chihuahuas to german shepherds. I am very experienced and comfortable with most breeds. I have given care to puppies and senior dogs from administering medication to puppy training. I also volunteer with a dog rescue and have helped them find their forever homes so I know what a dog needs and deserves ! Currently working part time, allows me the freedom and more flexibility to spend time with your dog! I am available every weekday and on select times on the weekends if you need me. I live in an apartment with my two dog friendly cats. The apartment building has double locked doors so they can’t easily escape. My building is also down the street from the beautiful harbor walk and 5 minute walk away from the dog park. I can provide them with the necessary exercise and enrichment activities!

She took fantastic care of my two big dogs while I was off for the weekend getting married! About: I worked at a humane society and worked with many dogs of all sizes and breeds. Helped to socialize them; took them for walks/hikes, went for car rides, got them comfortable being outdoors. I also dog sat for friends and family throughout the years. Very comfortable with giving medications and taking care of special needs dogs (grew up with a dog that required seizure medication and had frequent seizures). As a college student I have a fairly flexible schedule. My weekends are completely free and I have more than a couple hours free during the weekday in the mornings and evenings (as well as some time during the middle of the day if I’m not in class). I grew up in a home where dogs were family members. We were very comfortable with them being indoor and outdoor pets. We would go for hikes, walks/runs (was fairly active to help the dogs release their energy) and would also relax together indoors. Will crate as needed for dog and family comfort or will just hang out on a sofa and read a book for company for the pet. Since I’m used to caring for a high maintenance dog that required special attention, I can clean up accidents and administer medications if needed (with lots of approved treats)

About: I have been a dog owner my entire life and come from a family of animal lovers. I have worked with my own dogs to train them and to build trust and understanding, and am comfortable adapting my approach to fit the animal’s needs and the preferences of the pet’s family! I’m committed to competent care-taking informed by the animal’s needs. My experience: Worked as a pet sitter for the dogs, cats, and small animals like guinea pigs and hamsters of family friends for about 3 years; Volunteered as a caretaker for birds at the Minnesota Wildlife Rehabilitation Center for 1 year; Acted as a foster family for a dalmation/whippet mix for 2 months; Have been a dog-walker and pet-sitter with Rover since 2020. I’m happy to schedule visits and walks on certain weekdays and any weekend. I’m able to work remotely, but will need to plan around, which is why I request at least 3 days notice for any booking or change of plans. I am a big fan or midday and evening walks, and would be happy to have an animal companion with me for them! My approach is to create a stable routine and clear boundaries for any pets in my care. I am adaptable for what the space demands and based on the animal’s familiarity with a situation, for example being in a new space versus being in their primary home. I am cautious and considerate about the disposition of the pet I’m in charge of, so I will always try to avoid putting them in a situation they are not comfortable with or that has too many variables for me to respond to safely.
